    Funny thing, now that you mention it. I just bought an apartment in the middle of Oslo which is quite close to a prison (100 meters approx.). I actually didn't think about it at all. As the prison is in the middle of the city, you have restaurants, small homes etc. quite close to it. The buildings in the prison are however very old and preserved, and it's probably only a matter of time before the prison is moved out of the city (it will free up a lot of space for parks, businesses, etc.). Although there are many downsides to having a prison in a city (which I will not go into here), in principle, I like the idea of having a prison in the middle of a city. It means that prisoners are not excluded from the society, which I think is important for the recovery aspect of the prison inmates.

    A police station was way down on my list of desired themes, but this looks great. A classical build with lots of details. Cannot wait to see the inside. Pleasantly surprised, and definitely a first-day purchase.

    I would be very glad if he turned out to be the designer. I loved his design on the WW-set, and his previous work before joining LEGO is very inspiring.

    I agree. However, it may be some kind of teaser? Ref. the text in the instagram-post. Last year the modular was revealed on Friday 6 December, which would equal Friday 4 December this year (especially considering the fact that Lego seems to release the sets closer and closer to the actual release date). No matter what it will be, I'm always excited for a new modular, and cannot wait to see it!

    Really strange if they release a police station this year (of all years) considering recent events, but I guess we’ll see on Friday.

    I believe some german toy shop site spoiled that it was a bookshop about a week before the reveal, but no photo until the day before or so («leaked» by lego itself).

    I assume the vintage car will be released at the same time as the new modular, so my bets are on January 2021.

    Ah. It was 2 in Norway earlier today when I ordered, but has now increased to 3.

    Just noticed that they increased the max buy from 2 to 3 pp. Do they usually do that for larger releases such as this one?

    Is the set available at 00.00 in each respective country, or is there a global release equal for all countries?
