How many former, current and future university students are here?
BerndDasBrot replied to legotrainfan's topic in Community
I'm studying architecture in innsbruck, austria, right now... -
that look really nice! Has it been difficult to move all this hinges into the right position in LDD? and btw: it's an half truncated icosahedron. (trust me on this I just had a test on (semi) Platonic solids...

nice! (to be honest: at first I thought you meant "russians" ) -
thanks! @building for real: I don't know... It would be a challenge, though.

Hi, This is my WIP-floating-MLCad-island. It's kinda big yet, so I didn't want to make a bigger render. This is the bottom side. As you can see I installed one big fan / propellor / you name it and 4 smaller ones. Sadly a lot of information got lost in this render (and some pieces are all wrong - only in the pov-file. does anybody know why?) Colors / Button rock details (roots, pipes, steel girders) will be added later. What do think so far? Any futher suggestions? Feedback desired!

brand new? this was one of the first sets I bought on ebay. an attic find. smelly. dusty. I only used an old toothbrush to get rid of the layers of dust. QUICK EDIT: thanks for your feedback! (totally forgot about that...! )

They'll behave. And - like everybody - they've got the desire to belong to something. If you talking about me: I have to buy more fabuland pieces on ebay / brinklink, then more fabumocs are following and then you can decide to take me in the guild.

<rejoice-alert> I OWN MORE THAN 100.000 LEGO BRICKS!!! I've just counted all my spare parts and added them to my set list and the magic number is: 101507 LEGO pieces! I still can't believe it... I remember as I started collecting, I counted my sets and got more than 10.000 pieces. and now... </rejoice-alert> If I could only invest that time I've used for counting for my study.

BerndDasBrot replied to THE-FORCE's topic in General LEGO Discussion

thanks for all this nice words! ...and for the mocs too! CP5670 your MOC is awesome! You really made the color scheme right, which is actually not that easy because it isn't that clear, which color is the main color: black or gray? Once again thank you (this means a lot to me )!

Fabuland Builders Guild - Discussion Thread
BerndDasBrot replied to Shadows's topic in Special LEGO Themes
uh I just did that too. it looks kind of the same but the minifig hand is better posable (and the grip is smaller) -
thank you! the decal has been printed on stickersheets. you can "admire" his punkmobile (or tankmobile?) in the hotrod contest. When the contest is finished I will post more pics of the car in this topic. btw. his friends are at work at the moment. you now: nofx - thank god it's monday... here's his home: after spending all his money on his car, the only place he could live is this abandoned tree house. (Wait a moment- does money exist in fabuland?!) hello but in the tree house he only sleeps, eats and relaxes. He loves "Krusty Krabs Burgers". even though the whole tree house could collapse anytime, he doesn't care. He loves his "Octan" cushion and his "275 Table and chairs"-like blanket. He even found an old radio from the "294 Wall unit" when he's not working / hanging out in the city he likes to care for his flowers: but he doesn't know WHY the tree house has been abandoned! uh, well. NOW he does. Fabuland, Homemaker and Black Fantasy...? ow. you can find more pics in my brickshelf folder (when moderated) aaand: I've also made a mp3-file of what the parrot says in the last picture: Click here, save it and change the file extension to mp3. (not sure if that works...) EDIT: okay I don't want to doublepost, but here's the parrots first friend: (first of all: I thought I would have a white torso but I only found a blue one... sry) yes. that's a skinhead. Peter Pig-Skinhead. But it could also be that (s)he's female... I don't know Peter is also pacifist and even vegan. He's of the most helpful fabuland citizen and doesn't rile the fabuland police. (ow. that's too much...! ) If asked, why he dresses as a skinhead he answers: "well, I don't know. Fabuland just needs a skinhead. *thinks* -no it doesn't." Peter Pig and Benjamin Parrot like to hang out and drink orange juice, listen to oi!-music and fight against the black fantasy creature in thier tree house. I can't remember where I saw the usage of minifig arms first - but the credit goes to somebody from the guild.

Contest: build your best hotrod ever - ENTRIES
BerndDasBrot replied to El Bucanero's topic in LEGO Town
V-LV-40A Yet another fabuland citizen got fed up with his standart fabuland car. But this one is different than the others. (I don't know why but this should make the story more interessting ) year in, year out he build. (Nearly) no experience. (Nearly) no fabuland parts. (Nearly) no money. And he even dare entering the contest! Beware! It's NIMROD31!!! (I hope this name is still available. didn't investigate...) About my fabuland-figure. Good Luck!
