DC has been a while so that'd be my preferace. Toy Story would be cool exclusively if the series is just 6 Andy's and 6 Bonnies with Andy having uniquely sculpted arm pieces allowing him to grab another minifig just to recreate this iconic scene where he throttles a 5 year old

The reason is anyone who's desperate for castle will buy the big ones if that's all they have to offer. If there were a couple cheaper sets many of those collectors would be less likely to buy the big ones as they could get their fix in a cheaper way

As Commando has said if that's the case for a populist blockbuster, the film is almost certainly shit. The reviews now are the people who have to be nice to get invited back to the next one. These franchise films always start with a cussion that slowly flattens

So what license would you think? Of course the safe bet is another variation of a marvel or disney one as they're pretty consistent.

I think what makes Gosling different to a lot of the other people discussed is they mainly had well recieved popular but not popcorn-y films. Goslings most recent streak has been leading or Co-leading of a string big populist blockbusters which is a different kind of louder success than everyone else mentioned here.

I like this idea because I like Series 1 the most, it'd never happen though. Maybe they'd do like modern revamps where they're all reinterperated but even still i doubt it. As has been said series 20 was a green brick guy with a tile that said 20, I think series 30 will be a normal series or another costume party series with like one figure that loosely or not will be the representation of the milestone

I suppose but it's worth noting with Space and Animals that it might be a format LEGO is trying to make with 1 licenced, 1 normal and one themed being a pattern they're growing fond of. If there is a themed I don't think it will be remakes because everyone aways assumes there's gonna be a remakes theme and there never is. If they were gonna do it they'd have held off the 2 in 29 until then

At this point we can be confident they will, just hope it's in a set that'll go on PAB and not a scalped CMF or BAM or something

Yeah, Creator does both amazingly and you need both to paint a full picture. Same, really shocked by this one. Thought the castle waw a downgrade but this is unquestionably an upgrade, perfect set, definitely don't regret missing the last one now

'Tis the cycle, when you grow up with something it's gonna be the baseline you judge everything else against consiously or no. I'm sure if I was a stupid chud baby today when I was old enough to be on here I'd be biased to Smartbricks, not care for original themes and say LEGO should bring back their 2020s Funko Pop model instead of the hit new Asbestos brick they put in all their new sets. Not saying people inherently are blindly saying what they grew up with was best, but it does affect what you accept as normal for good or ill
