  1. I was wondering if anyone has found out what Target's DPCI number is for the two Batman polybags of 30160 Batman Jetski and 30161 Batmobile. A friend showed me a way to search Targets' inventories for the polybags to know which store to go to. It's helping me get the Friends Mailbox: http://sites.target.com/site/en/spot/mobile_fiats.jsp?dpci=086-02-0064 Anyone can use the above link, just replace the end numbers with the DPCI number of what you're looking for and search in your area. It's actually a mobile site so you can use the link with your phone.
  2. That is awesome!! I can't wait for it to come out here. Even if it's $40, I'll be happy to buy it. Sounds like a much better game than Champion, which I paid $35 for and should have waited to get it for $18... if even at all...
  3. Oh, if its a store exclusive, then it probably will hit TRU first in the US, but then will be available in LEGO stores. So I'll just have to wait a bit to get for normal price with VIP points. :-)
  4. Phineas and Ferb is owned by Disney so discussion of LEGO sets based on the show fit here. But I do apologize for going off and talking about the show directly. I know that should be discussed in the TV forum.
  5. Thanks for posting. I just hope my Target gets it as it seems very hit or miss as to which Targets get which polybags.
  6. The movie is also on Netflix, but we're probably going to wait until we watch all the episodes before watching the movie. The show amazes me every time. The writers are ingenious, slightly tweaking the formula every episode. It never feels tired or repetitive, even though they are almost doing the same thing every episodes. It's great!
  7. I'm really hoping that the zombie set is real. There weren't any pictures of it in the leaked video, but there is that missing set number in the middle of the list. I can't wait to find out if its real. I think LEGO would be silly not to do a zombie set as so many people want it.
  8. That and add accessories, but still, I liked getting older figs in brand new condition. But I guess it didn't sell well because they stopped after the girl set.
  9. It hasn't been completely confirmed, but from LEGO has said and shown, it should just be the figures with their accessories. Probably a lot like the Vintage sets... boy, I wish they would do more of those.
  10. Me too. In fact, I only started watching Phineas and Ferb because of this rumor. I heard about it here and then talked to some friends who encouraged me to try the show. Thankfully, 78 episodes are on Netflix instant streaming. My husband and I are hooked on it, watching it almost every day. We're into season 2 now.
  11. I'm not surprised that his videos were taken down, glad I got to watch up to Episode 5, but where in the world did you read that the guy committed suicide?! That's just sad, and awfully mean if it isn't true.
  12. Thanks for the info and the link. I'm really surprised no one's made a more accurate listing, but it seems to be because stuff is mislabeled on Bricklink so it'd be hard to be accurate when the sources aren't accurate, well, except for LEGO. They know the true color. lol!
  13. I love the new chickens and goats. I can't wait for more new animals like that. I'd really love a duck! Every small brick-built duck just doesn't work for me. I missed the 75% off sale, mostly because my store ran out before they went on sale. I actually went back to get an extra for the parts and was willing to pay full price, but they had already sold out. :-(
  14. Wow, those hairs are rare. I can get an extra sleepyhead easily, but the skater hair is expensive and the Friends doll isn't being sold in reddish brown. :-( Guess it'll be a while before I have ninja with hair...
  15. Can you share links to the hair on bricklink? I think it'd be a lot of fun to get those hairs since I think you're right that LEGO isn't going to release them with their hair.
  16. It sucks that it'll only be in the Japanese market, but the two sets are going to be limited runs. Anyway, I assume someone will start selling it on Bricklink.com eventually, but I expect it'll be pretty expensive...
  17. I must be in the minority as I loved Pharaoh's Quest brick-built monsters. The Scarab, Cobra and the Scorpian were some of my favorite parts of the series. I always wanted to get an extra cobra, but sadly could never find it at a good price and missed it. But I agree that brick-built wouldn't work for everything and I like a lot of the molded animals. For instance, the spiders that came out for Halloween were the stupidest things I had ever seen. And as much as I like the dragons in Ninjago, there are a bit fragile for all their moving parts. It's a tough balance to make something look cool and have a stable design.
  18. It's a pretty new color and the list we got from last year didn't have the LEGO color ID, just the piece IDs. But I called LEGO customer service and what I was looking for is what LEGO calls Dark Nougat. But according to different sources, it's been matched up to both Dark Flesh and Medium Dark Flesh on Bricklink. So I guess there's some discrepancies, but as long as I have the correct LEGO color ID, that's all that matters. My husband and I actively participate in our LUG's displays and our club has a similar rule that only those who can be part of LUGBulk are those who participate in the groups' displays. It encourages participation in club activities and discourages abuses like those who would want parts just to resell, which is prohibited. But even those who only put a vehicle or two into our displays gets to participate in LUGBulk, if they want. The contribution doesn't have to be large. It does take time to participate in a group, but each group is different. We're a bit more relaxed and don't require a lot of time from our members. But then, we also don't do many activities each year so it's a trade-off. Hopefully you'll be able to participate sometime soon. It's definitely been a lot of fun since we joined ours a few years ago.
  19. Thanks, that helps a lot, except for the main color I was looking for. lol. I wanted to know the LEGO ID for the color that Bricklink calls Medium Dark Flesh. I guess it's too new.
  20. Does anyone have a guide to converting Bricklink colors into LEGO Color IDs? I found one, but it doesn't seem to be accurate and it didn't have any of the new colors.
  21. I was wondering about that too. He has no staff, yet the others with staffs seem to obey him... I just don't get it. Is it because he has a long neck? That'd freak me out too and I'd obey.
  22. Thanks for the high res photos. Still disappointed in how these turned out, but they are Duplo. I can only hope that this will be moved to System next year like they did with Cars. I just hope they do normal minifigures, not the Friends mini-dolls. This would be a huge opportunity lost for more female minifigures, especially since my husband and I do a lot of castle MOCs - princesses would be so very cool!
  23. I don't think so. I keep my old sets in plastic bags in plastic tubs. I haven't had any problems so far with any rubbery pieces getting sticky or deformed. But I've only had some pieces as long as a couple of years so I don't know what the long term effect will be.
  24. So happy that this has the pitchfork and the blue blades! Going to be using those in my Castle MOCs. Just bought a lot at the LEGO store and got 5 of these babies!
  25. That would have been sweet! Not sure it would have been enough for me to buy multiple copies considering I don't care about the other minifigs, but it would have been nice.
