  1. BTW, just to keep you guys updated, Ben Affleck is supposed to help produce The Batman, but he's not starring in it. This means that they're going to hire a younger actor to play the world's greatest detective, and they'll probably change the Batsuit to sell toys. I'll leave to speculating on what the suit will look like to the professionals, though. Oh, and they'll probably start shooting sometime in spring, so it's most likely going to be mid-late 2020 when the movie comes out, so we have a year and a half to speculate. Yay. And The Flash is rumored to begin shooting in early 2019, so there's that. I'm almost 100% sure Ezra Miller will stay as the Flash, but who knows what could happen. I hope they stick to the same general design, with maybe a few tweaks here and there, but nothing like changing the color or anything. Since they made the Rebirth Batsuit a light bluish gray (even though a dark bluish gray would be a little bit more accurate IMO), I think they'll do the same here. Like you said, they'll probably do duel molded boots along with it.
  2. You know what I'm really hoping for is the 2006 Hush Batsuit, updated of course. If you don't know what I'm talking about it's the Batsuit we saw in the first wave of Batman sets way back in 2006. It's still a classic minifig to me. What they could do is give us one with a type 2 cowl, classic light flesh head (not black head with flesh printed on, it looks terrible.), slightly updated torso, the utility belt from LBM, and duel molded legs with black tights printed on, and an spongy cape, of course. But I'll try not to wishlist too much.
  3. So lets see, the Batman villain designs we've haven't seen in both minifig form and DC Supervillains (so far) are Clayface, Catwoman, Riddler, Scarecrow, Two Face, Deathstroke, Solomon Grundy, Harley Quinn, Mister Freeze, Killer Moth, Ventriloquist, Toyman, Polka Dot Man, Killer Croc, Clock King, Penguin, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Poison Ivy, and Joker. I would find the ones not crossed out more likely to appear in sets. The reason I'm only doing Batman villains is because of that rumor that the next wave of DC sets is going to be Batman-themed.
  4. Yeah, theres supposed to be 16 sets released in the first wave. There are no names yet, though. I'd go to the Lego Movie 2 set discussion to ask any other questions.
  5. You know I just rewatched The Last Jedi on Netflix, and I still think its a good movie. While watching I was thinking, maybe one of the January sets is the Canto Bight Speeder we saw in the Lego Last Jedi recap video. I mean, I don’t think Lego would design a whole new mold for those horse things (what do you call them?) if they aren’t going to put them in a set. Doesn’t it cost Lego a couple thousand dollars to design new creature molds? It would be such a waste of money to just put them in a little YouTube video. Plus, Lego is such a tease when it comes to this stuff.
  6. You know, Lego will probably reveal most of these December 2018-January 2019 sets in the next 2-3 months, so thats something to look foward to. But if you’re impatient, like me, then we can always force SpiderJazz to spill the beans. So SpiderJazz, does the rumored Lizard bigfig have an opening jaw like the LBM Killer Croc? Or do we have to do this the hard way.
  7. So just to clarify, are we getting 5 DC sets in this wave? So its just gonna be a smaller set? Oh well, as long as we get some indication that Lego cares about the 80th Anniversary of the greatest superhero if all time. You know, since the $100 set is probably DC, and it isn’t GCPD, than that leaves the door open creatively speaking. I did always want an Ace Chemicals set. Heck, I’d even buy a Star Labs set.
  8. You know what I find absolutely ridiculous, the fact that we still haven’t gotten key Batman characters like Oracle, Red Robin, Carmine Falcone, Anarky, Vicki Vale, Professor Pyg, Harvey Bullock, or even Amanda Waller. I mean, all of these characters play huge roles in the DC universe, and only one of them needs a new mold made, so theres really no reason why any of these characters couldn’t have shown up in sets. Well thats a disappointment, I was hoping to get some cool DC figs. But it would make more sense for it to be a DC set, since Marvel already has the Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown for $100, and two $100 sets from Marvel is a bit of a stretch.
  9. Since we still have no clue what the other 3 DC sets are yet, what would you guys like to see? I would personally love if Lego would remake some 2006-2008 Batman sets, I also wouldn’t be against a Black Mask minifig. But since hes supposed ti be the Birds of Prey villain, we probably won’t see him in a set until that movie comes out, DCEU based or not. I would also like a Hush minifig, since they recently announced that Batman is going back to his Hush costume, and since they also announced a Batman: Hush animated movie next year, I find him more likely to appear in a set than ever before.
  10. Nice knowing you, wallet and self control. I think Ill miss you most of all, financial stability.
  11. So if this is true than we can expect it to be around the same size as the Sanctum Sanctorum, which is a pretty good sized set. We can also expect at least 4 minifigs (One of which is almost certainly Commisioner Gordon, finally), and maybe a bigfig? And it comes out December or January, right? I think it’ll be a while before Lego takes that step, Im not against you though, a UCS Hall of Justice would be a perfect set to fit on my shelf. But I have a confession, I haven’t gotten the Joker Manor yet.
  12. I think that's next year, but it would still make sense with the release date for these sets. Maybe that's why they're releasing 5 Batman-based sets instead of the usual 3.
  13. I would find a Superman themed D2C more likely than a Gotham Police Station, since 2018 is the 80th Anniversary of Superman. But maybe they'll just base a smaller set around him later on (hopefully with a Superman thats actually updated instead of that crappy one we got in 76096 Superman and Krypto Team-Up). I mean, they already got the design for him in the gameplay footage of DC Supervillains, just make that a fig and call it a day. I always thought that Lego never made a Mad Hatter fig because his name is owned by Disney or something, but this would be a nice surprise.
  14. Out of curiosity where does everyone hear this stuff? I want to be up-to-date with rumors.
  15. The problem is that I don't know what they can do to make a whole big D2C set like Ninjago City, but I don't play the game so I'll leave the speculating to you guys.
  16. Well I mean, if your collecting the figs from Dimensions you can finally get Cyborg and Robin, and they do share the same general designs as the first Teen Titans show, so thats kind of cool I guess. But I'm probably not going to buy the whole sets if they do share the same simplistic design, I'll just get the figs off of BrickLink or eBay or something. Ever since 2014, around the time when the show was still new, I wondered "why don't they make one or two sets about this?", because at the time they released a set loosely based around Beware the Batman (remember that show? cause I sure don't) and that only lasted 1 season. But now Lego is finally making a great decision. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely despise both Teen Titans Go! and the new Powerpuff Girls, but still its a pleasant addition to the Lego brand. And if you're like me, than this new theme is somewhat of an indication that we'll be getting more stuff based around the Teen Titans (maybe even Young Justice someday).
  17. Theres a rumor going around that they'll release Teen Titans Go! sets next year, thoughts?
  18. Perhaps the 4th set is a D2C. It would make sense to do a much bigger, more detailed set in this wave, for the more mature buyers. And considering how well the Ninjago City set sold (a more detailed set for collectors), I wouldn't be surprised to see a D2C Overwatch set. And when you think about it, Ninjago and Overwatch are quite similar. They both feature ninjas, robots, ghosts, monsters, and even post-apocalyptic landscapes, so maybe the people who'll buy these Overwatch sets will be the same audience as Ninjago.
  19. I hope there are some sets that we don't know about, I'd hate for almost 2 full waves to be based around just Spiderman characters. I mean, he's a great character and theres tons of characters and vehicles they can do, but theres a limit to how much Spiderman you can do at once.
  20. I think what Lego is trying to do here is to have the kids who get the Minecraft sets transition to a different selection of characters, locations, and vehicles (I don't know if there are any vehicles, I don't play the game) because eventually the kids will lose interest in Minecraft, and sets based on another widely popular video game is perfect to take Minecraft's place on their shelves (even though right now most people would probably think of Fortnite before Overwatch, but still). Plus, eventually Lego will run out of ideas for Minecraft sets, theres only so many biomes and mobs.
  21. Well so did Harry Potter, the Lego Batman Movie, the Disney CMF, and Infinity War, and all of those sets sold incredibly well.
  22. 76133 is probably a Mighty Micros based around Spiderman, and if not then I can't imagine a set they can do for $10, besides a polybag maybe.
  23. I know theres most likely going to be a summer wave, I just hate waiting 6-8 months for more sets with characters that we should have gotten sooner. Oh well, whaddaya gonna do.
  24. The plot thickens....
