  1. Not a bad wave. Tahu is, undoubtedly, the standout. It is so cool that they made the Hau a unique mold. Would be really cool to see the same done for the other Toa Mata over the next few years, but I won't hold my breath. Others I'll probably pick up are the Robo T-Rex, Monster Hunter, and Lloyd, although they're not quite as exciting to me. The others aren't really my thing, ranging from solid to meh, but I'm sure there's those who will enjoy them.
  2. There is a guy called Ronin in Ninjago, but he's more sand green and orange rather than the dark green and medium green we see on this minifigure. The name 'mysterious ronin' for this minifigure seems to refer more to the archetype rather than a specific character. Morro was the main villain of Ninjago season 5, being the ghost of one of Wu's old students that ended up possessing Lloyd, and he had a green and black tattered aesthetic similar to the leaked figure. I don't think it's Morro given the emphasis on the L symbols and lack of the dragon symbols found on every iteration of Morro (though some Lloyds have had those as well, so it wouldn't have been a dead giveaway), although there is a possibility of it being a new possessed Lloyd, even though it lacks the dragon symbol. Homework for the people in this thread- go watch Ninjago!
  3. It is a new look for Lloyd. The figure's torso and legs have a style of gi print almost identical to that seen on Ninjago characters, the main colours look to be dark green with medium green accents (though the lighting is messing them up a bit), and his belt clasp and back both appear to sport a stylised version of the Ninjargon letter 'L' like some past iterations of Lloyd's design.. Not to mention that the head, which we have yet to see but the original leaker likely did, is also very likely to look like Lloyd.
  4. There's meant to be this, the Cole polybag, the anniversary display set, and something called the 'Old Town'.
  5. I dunno, it looked pretty rough in the one in-hand image we got, and this is a better look at the top and side of the piece.
  6. Looks like the first set reveal for this wave is a Legacy polybag! Not necessarily what I was hoping for, but maybe the others will follow soon. The Cole remake looks fine, although they appear to have decided to make all of the ninja's ZX armour gold instead of letting some have silver (unless the main sets will have the colour variance and they decided to make a black hood with a gold ZX crest exclusively for this set, which seems unlikely). The mask honestly looks even worse from these new pics, with the cloth parts being too chunky and smooth, and the crest being far too big (and seemingly wrapping around the back like a headband instead of just being a crest on the forehead).
  7. Hold on, is the set actually called 'The Dragon of Life'? If so it seems strange that it's some Arc Dragon with seemingly elemental nature powers and not the Source Dragon of Life.
  8. The mask does look a little odd. I'm wondering if the head crest is larger because it's now dual-molded instead of painted on, but I feel like Lego have done dual-molded elements with finer details in the past.
  9. I mean, a Klombo is a large, dinosaur-like creature. It would probably work the same way any Ninjago dragon or similar works.
  10. If we’re talking about location sets, something for the cauldrons could be fun. Dunno if they’d lean into the playset or display aspect more, but it would be cool if it came with the gate, the final chamber and perhaps one or two of the more recognisable platforming bits. Maybe include one of the smaller boss machines so they can recreate a version of the energy field/construction area. Having some ruined buildings as a side-build is a must as well. The bulwark could be a neat centrepiece for a Frozen Wilds inspired set, though that would depend on if a potential theme would cover elements not covered in Adventures. I’d also really like to see Aloy in her shield-weaver armour, be it in its charged form from Zero Dawn or the powerless one from Forbidden West.
  11. Wow, this looks fantastic! The machines are incredible, and do a great job of representing the in-game designs despite being simpler in construction. I also love how you can take out certain components just like in the game. The minifigs are also great. I don’t see why Aloy needed new prints, but it’s nothing to complain about. Varl is great, and his new hairpiece is cool. The new bow mold is very cool, and I love the interchangeable parts for it and the spear. The side builds are also fun references to the game, with the tall grass for sneaking about and the campfire for saving your game and fast travel. Overall an incredible set, and it’s designed as a sort of perfect starter pack based on the game. I’ll absolutely be picking it up, especially for that price.
  12. Went to a toy store today to get the whole set, and after spending like half an hour scanning various boxes I was told at checkout that there was a maximum of three per customer for some bloody reason, God forbid someone gets themselves a full set in one purchase. I did fortunately have a couple of people with me so I ended up being able to get 9 of 12, but still a bit annoyed. Will have to get the Dwarf Barbarian, Strahd, and Szass Tam another day. As for the figures I did get, solid impressions overall. I'd say my favourites are the Elf Bard, Dragonborn Paladin, and Tasha, but I don't think I could truthfully tell you that there's a single bad figure in the set. This is the first time in my lifetime of buying Lego that I'm completing a CMF, and that's saying something (although sets only having 12 rather than 20 minifigs compared to when I was last properly invested in CMFs probably helps).
  13. The game looks pretty cool. Comparing to the set, the Tallneck and Watcher are a lot more intricate (and larger, in the tallneck's case) than their set counterparts, so I'd assume that any set of them would be somewhat simplified, although it'd still likely look great. Might pick the game up, and hope it heralds new sets.
  14. Wow, I was not expecting a new figure for a repurposed Ultra Agents villain in the year of our lord 2024.
