  1. Ugh. The Redcoats would be jealous.
  2. You want to be careful with that line of thinking. It's practically Eslandolan! Only? I would be concerned about your man's priorities. There's a dangerous level of tolerance in his thought. There is nothing to fear in the rise of the Inquisition. They carry the colours of Oleon as well as the colours of Hades. The Seminary of Axel the Martyr reminds us that the Inquisition is here to promote all three of the Aplynician Brothers, equally. And any attempt to stifle the activities of Hades' own people will be regarded as a move against that equality. The Inquisition will shortly be moving to another island. But the Île Zeus will always be home, for them.
  3. It's a really smart build, @Gubi0222. Even the way you've mounted the clones differently to the droids on clear pieces. It's a neat idea!
  4. @Bodi @blackdeathgr @Fraunces @Legonaut Thanks guys, I appreciate it. @Khorne Yeahhhh, you got me. I later added in some benches so it looked like more of a teaching facility, but I agree that it looks a bit bare. I tried to copy the same style as the Treasury of Hades. I stand by my use of the prefab trees, though. I wanted a row of cypresses, and I think they do a damn good job.
  5. Likewise, welcome! Although I wonder what the inquisition would have to say about such a situation. Pacts with Davy Jones and the Ferryman, relations with mermaids? These are not the actions of a good devout Oleonder. @Thomas Waagenaar will you make a more "active" version of your SigFig? I'm concerned that this one won't be able to move her head or legs...
  6. @Professor Thaum @Beleg the Ranger @Keymonus @Brickwolf Thanks guys, the main build was part of a Naboo build I did for Factions over on the Star Wars forums. However, I'd wanted to do a seminary for a while, and I'd had it in mind to reference @Kwatchi's Brother Axel, so I had the statue built and ready to go. Maybe someday in the future we'll see a church dedicated to Saint Axel the Martyr.
  7. Bwahahaha, what would @Khorne say?
  8. And a Medium Education property to go with it:
  9. May 16, 620 - Astrapi, Île Zeus My Brothers, You may remember that, nearly a year ago, I was able to consecrate a Treasury of Hades the Harvester here in Astrapi. This treasury was to be guarded be the Brotherhood of Hades Inflamed. It seems that the Canon François was determined that the Brotherhood should form the active arm of the Inquisition out here in the Brick Seas. To that end he has erected a seminary of Axel the Martyr in Astrapi. I am given to understand that Brother Axel was a contemporary of the "Black Bishop" Meloche who refused to renounce his faith and was killed by the heretic as a result. Canon François has asked us to consider his beatification, and I am certainly willing to forward his request to you. The Seminary will function as a teaching and training centre for the monks; transforming the order into a chapter of Brothers at Arms, instead of one at Prayer. As long as there are men like Meloche in this world, we will need more men like Brother Axel. I only hope that this seminary will go some way to helping us achieve that. For the Underlord, Monsignor Orfeo
  10. I agree about the colours
  11. Love the archway. It works really neatly.
  12. Ahhh, that's pretty crazy. I don't know if I love it or hate it, but good work!
  13. @Tariq j Thanks. I'm a bit gutted the photography wasn't as crisp as I'd like, but I'm not really able to retake the shot.
  14. Nice idea. Did you try supporting it from the throwing hand? I know those wrist/shoulder joints aren't always the strongest.
  15. Once they figure out how useful it is, they'll probably crack the planet in half to harness it.
  16. *Your entry has earned 3 XP* The whole place ran on geothermal energy. Because when you're trying to run a tractor beam to pull ships out of hyperspace around the clock, you have to use a dependable source of energy. For the other parts of the Gigor story, please read the holojournal entries:
  17. *Your entry has earned 5 XP* You know, I got my start on Naboo, same as the Emperor. Small galaxy, huh? Can't claim to know the guy, but I did meet him once or twice at formal gatherings. He was already a big cheese by then. Frankly, I doubt he gave someone like me a second thought. I spent most of the Clone Wars in administrative roles around Theed, with the occasional trips to the Spice Moons or Coruscant. Didn't see any of the action. In fact, just about the only Clones I saw were the security detachment of veterans who guarded the Palpatine estates. From what I understood, their posting was a reward for exemplary service. But they also helped to deter some of the more political vandalism. Decent enough guys, but they kept to themselves. Of course, Captain Panaka didn't take it too kindly. He was the Head of Royal Security on Naboo. A bit of an enigma: Always seemed like he wanted to lead an army, but he supported the Queens when they voted against the establishment of the Grand Army of the Republic. Must've had a fit when he heard that it was a Gungan delegate who proposed the Emergency Powers bill! So anyway, when the Clone troopers got their marching orders, he wasn't about to sit back and let them march around his territory without putting them to the test. Had them duel some of his best Gungan allies to see how they would handle themselves. From how things turned out, I think they earned some grudging respect, at least. The photo isn't my best, but I'm very happy with the build itself. I even flipped the entire build horizontally so Captain Typho would have his eyepatch on the correct eye.
  18. @Beleg the Ranger Wish I could take credit, but it has been done plenty of times before.
  19. So, I tried a few things to get a scale-accurate mouse droid. Unfortunately the rollerscake doesn't cooperate with the cheese wedge. The binoculars work, but to put it on a flat surface, I had to leave a 1x1 gap behind it for the flared ends to sit in.
  20. *Your entry has earned 4 XP* Well, we got all sorts of customers. Like that little Chadra-Fan who wouldn't stop talking, or the Twi'leks who tried to steal anything that wasn't bolted down. All of them were processed, assessed for their value to the Triumvirate, and then (usually) sent off to a prison world... somewhere. I've had this shot for a while. Wanted to try out a few things, like the holotable with the ergonomic holographic keyboard, or the tiny mouse droid, or Hammond the hamster as a Chadra-Fan. There will be more from Gigor.
  21. @Faladrin thanks! I'm really happy with it.
  22. Will we get a new limited-time challenge for May?
  23. Fishing tower, licensed as a small fish plantation
  24. Bwahahaha! Brilliant. I love the last vignette. So gruesome!
