Well I suppose I’ll do my own ranking. Personally I’ve enjoyed reading them so here goes: 1) Clocktower - minifigures are excellent, it’s great to get Yule Ball variants of these figures, I think they made the right call there. I also love the Hogwarts builds and this is no exception. Wonderful set! 2) Expecto Patronum - I’ve been wanting an updated Sirius since forever and I’m not disappointed. Phenomenal little set, great for army building dementors, and that Stag Patronus is wonderful 3) Hagrid’s Hut - Fantastic minifigures, most of which are exclusive. I didn’t think they would include Fudge and Macnair but they both add a lot to this set. Buckbeak is amazing. I love the build, it’s great to finally get this version of the Hut 4) Rise Of Voldemort - While the build is mostly lacking in that open area, I absolutely love the Riddle grave and the figures. The generic Death Eater is fantastic and I’ve been wanting Wormtail for a long time. New versions of Harry and Voldemort are also very welcome 5) Beauxbatons Carriage - This Fleur is one of the best figures of the wave. Gabrielle is a nice addition and it’s great to get alternate versions of Maxime and Hagrid as well as new creatures. The carriage is amazing and would be such an awesome display piece. The o my reason it’s lower on the list is because the other sets are just overall more desirable to me and not because of anything lacking from this set 6) Triwizard Challenge - This set is low on the list on purpose. The Horntail is absolutely pathetic and the tent build is just plain. The Horntail is so bad I can’t really put it into words. It looks like a weird bird. Just awful. I do love the figures and the golden egg rock build. I also appreciate the addition of the modified broomstick to represent Harry’s Firebolt 7) Knight Bus - This is not a bad set, it just doesn’t really have anything that stands out enough to interest me over the other sets, including the first task set, which at least has desirable figures. A repeat of the same Harry, Ernie, and Stan just isn’t enough to be desirable. It really should have included the Grim and Aunt Marge. The bus itself is sleek and nice and certainly an improvement on the older versions but I never really cared for it all that much. I’ll buy it along with all the others but it’s definitely my least favorite

I really hope it’s June for everyone. At this point I realize that it probably isn’t, but I have to hope. It’ll be so hard to have to wait an extra two months. I’m so ready for these sets

From what I understand, everything comes out in August in the US (except the Advent Calendar which is September) but everywhere else in the world the first five sets release in June and then the Graveyard and Carriage release in August. The September calendar seems to be consistent worldwide

I really want that Castle Byers to go along with the set. I gotta get it somehow

I’m so excited for this set but I’m going to have to wait until double VIP points to get it. Anyone know when the next double VIP points will be?

Mine has fallen over a couple times. It typically stays just fine but it falls at the slightest provocation

I’ll definitely be getting this pack, probably two of them. Disappointed that the black and red suit was ignored once again but perhaps we’ll get it eventually. I’ll probably get a bootleg for now until an official one is made just for completions sake

I wholeheartedly agree. To me, it’s the mk51 and Rescue is 49, making the second Hulbuster officially mk48

I hear you, I’m a man and I would melt if we got Tonks. She and Kingsley are MUST HAVES. And honestly, Madame Maxime and Fleur in her Beauxbatons uniform were two of the figures I wanted most in this relaunch

Yeah I don’t think this theme is going anywhere soon and I really hope I’m right because there is soooooo much more they could do when you really stop to think about it. I’ve been mapping out possible HP sets for years, there’s plenty to keep the theme going. Plus, TLG isn’t going to give up the theme as long as it’s making money

It could be that he had the designs for the Rescue suit finished before the mk50 but he didn’t actually build it until the events of Endgame

Well, we’ve seen pictures of the physical Macnair minifigure, not just box images, and it look pretty good with the flesh on black printing. To me this Death eater looks like they are trying to go for that shadowy look I mentioned before. If not, the effect is cool nonetheless

I really have nothing bad to say about these two sets at all. My only nitpick is Wormtail’s hair but other than that these sets are pretty much perfect

Macnair is proof that they can print flesh tones on a black head piece so I think they were intentionally going for that shadowed face look here

I mean the generic death eater in the 2007 Hogwarts Castle set actually used Bellatrix’s mask so maybe we could deduce who this one is once we get clearer images

I think Fleur even has dual molded legs! And Gabrielle is a very nice touch. It seems they added the Peverell gravestone from Godric’s Hollow into the Riddle graveyard? Not sure what that’s about but it looks awesome

It does look like both Voldemort and the Death Eater have plain unprinted black skirt pieces but I really don’t mind because they don’t really need printing and both still look great. Plus we get a dark grey skirt piece in the statue which is nice. It also almost looks like Wormtail reuses Stan Shunpike’s face but I’m probably wrong, the picture isn’t super clear when you zoom in

Wow these two sets being revealed is certainly unexpected. I would say I’m disappointed we get a generic death eater instead of Lucius (as far as I can tell) but odds are we’ll get Lucius in the Order Of The Phoenix wave next year and army builder type figures are always great so I’m actually pretty happy with it. Wormtail’s hair looks odd though, I may replace it with Old Luke’s hair or something. The sets look amazing, especially the carriage set honestly

I don’t disagree, but one could also say Stranger Things is on a completely different level compared to something like Star Wars as far as content. My point is the bar keeps getting slightly higher. You never know, some day they may just say screw it and start making some strictly adult Lego themes. Maybe not, but who really knows?

That would be really nice. I’m not a big fan of Captain Marvel as a character, but the look is awesome and I’ve always wanted them to make a helmet piece for her. They really should do an exclusive polybag of her in her green Kree suit, people would go nuts over it

You’re probably right, but then again, I think we all would have said the same thing about Stranger Things at one point and here it is

Oh yeah because there wasn’t a ton of grumbling and whining last year from Europeans who didn’t get them when the US did. Get off your high horse. What you’re saying isn’t even true. Everyone on here complains, from every country, when something isn’t how they wanted it to be, sometimes that’s just part of being passionate about something. When it doesn’t live up to expectations, we express our sincere disappointment. That’s how it works. From every country. Sick and tired of ignorant people saying “only Americans do this, only Americans do that”. Not even true. I will defend my country til the day I die, but I shouldn’t have to defend her on a lego community forum. Ridiculous. That is not what this website is for. We didn’t sit around bashing Europe last year when they were upset about getting the sets late. I’m not saying we haven’t all been affected by it at one point, but that doesn’t make it any less frustrating, especially for the most anticipated sets of the year. And yes, there was a lot of complaining last year, but I completely understood the complaints and didn’t feel the need to jump down people’s throats for expressing their disappointment and frustration. People who were affected by it last year should understand the fristration, instead of “you all deserve it because it happened to us last year!” You know how upsetting it is
