Book III - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
meepinater replied to soccerkid6's topic in Guilds of Historica
so... I would upload pictures but my Sd card reader broke... in the meantime, how does this work? do we just post mocs that follow a storyline? if so, is the storyline for all of Mitgardia, or just our characters? obviously, we can post plain old mocs... -
Book III - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
meepinater replied to soccerkid6's topic in Guilds of Historica
Signing up! Name: Isengrin (meepinater) Profession: soldier titles: Scaredy-cat, chicken, little mouse. Short Bio: As a child, Isengrin always wanted to serve as a soldier. When he became of age, he enlisted for a soldier. In his first battle, however, he witnessed his company murdered by orcs. He has never recovered since. Although he can still summon his courage, Isengrin often turns pale at the mention of orcs or goblins... or anything of the sort, really. Hometown: Omurtag Parts: torso: part #937 in dk grey with black hands. legs: part #970 in dark grey. weapon: part # 25111 in silver. Shield: part #22408. helmet: part #3844. armor: part #2587. head: part #326cpb2081 -
looks good, a microscale would be interesting. I don't like the brooms... they make for difficult and incorrect posing... a broom with a really skinny part for sliding on the legs would be better.

The set looks good, but I feel that Lego could have achieved the same, if not a greater, effect if they released several sets to add on with the great hall. Over time, you could create the whole castle... and at minifigure scale! Again, the set looks good and I would get it for the dark green, the tan... and the 4 original wizards that started the houses. The nanofigures looks exceptional, however. The printing on them is extraordinarily detailed for their size... Lego did an excellent job on them. Overall, I would get this set, but I might make extensive modifications to it so that it is minifigure scale.

looks like a good set, but I agree with the fact that it should have a bit more room for power functions... other than that, it looks great! I love the way Lupin was designed, he looks great.

It looks like a great set, especially for new pieces and pieces in rarer colors.... all for a good price! I think $15 is the cheapest I have seen for a decent lego set... they are really getting expensive. thanks for the review!

This is cool! Keep it up! One thing... the infected hau mahri might be a better fit here... or a plain old black hau... maybe a black hau nuva? If that exists... Still, it looks good and the posing is exemplary! Good job!

that is awesome. now that i am looking at the inside... you, sir, are GENIUS! that is some amazing brick work there. it helps that it is in LDD as well... no illegal connections.

this is great! it looks exactly like the ones in the movies, and the detailing on the edges are absolutely wonderful. Can't wait to see more!

nice job! the belt buckle is genius, and the beard is wonderful. the shirt is great as well. I like the dark brown coat, it is perfect. I could see a dark nougat for a spring or summer coat, though. you should do a fang or a norbert(a) to go with it... :P

these look great! I love it. My fave is the superman/clark kent. the telephone box is awesome. maybe try some freeform... maybe a young clark kent on the farm? and don't forget the flash, wonder woman... etc etc.

very nice! one thing, I would try to pose the flying figs better... maybe the ones with poseable legs could have the brooms between the legs? -
Tutorial How to: DIY decals
meepinater replied to mkeller234's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
oof... :( oh, well. I can get a laser printer eventually... maybe when they get cheaper... I don't want to spend that much money yet. -
nice, nice... I might try to make some sometime... When I am not to busy building Bionicle.

nice! love the freeform terrain!

These are great, thanks for the review! Now we just have to wait for more sets to come out... and then we can populate them! though, I think that they could/should have included some more teachers. Mcgonagall, Snape, Pomfrey... and some more Weasleys, maybe as well as a generic death eater? ah, well. We'll have to make do.
