The discussions here are nice so that we can get an overview of what EVERYONE thinks about these sets but they're too general and it really doesn't do any of the sets justice at all. On one end, someone's talking about bionicle names I have no idea about, on the other hand someone is talking about creator and then jumping to Indy sets. There are categories at Eurobricks.com, why aren't these broken down into the different categories by now so that we can all discuss about the particular genre we are interested in? I think by now, we should have divided up the topics so that we can get some really interesting discussions. Perhaps have cargo in town and city and leave bionicle somewhere else for those guys. This way, fans can contribute and get discussions going that are interesting..........and not..... " I like SW but this kinda sucks because it sucks, but Indy sets are nice because yeah it's great." Someone please break this up, or else we'll have two more months of mixed bag discussions. 800+ views so far -_-, and none of the discussions are really going anywhere at all. No comment on classics, no comment on style, no comment on current theme lego is taking in comparison to bionicle, creator, town, yadda yadda now it's just like a Myspace babble post *wacko*

I really would like to see a poll on 4 stud vehicles versus 6 wide studded vehicles on eurobrick. I am absolutely shocked that they created a 4 wide studded cargo car, plane, and police helicopter. I know that some of you purest city and town fans, love these 4 wide studded vehicles but I'm new to City and I also *wub* love them too. More is not always better but this is what they advertise at Lego. For instance, "this vehicle is 9 inches!!" Therefore I truly appreciate that they created these 4 stud wide vehicles. The direction I'm hoping that Lego takes is the Japanese approach: small, efficient (fun), expensive - with the latter taken out lol. I love mini tech (ipod nano etc), and these mini classic cars and planes that are coming out this year. With that, I give this the best year for city, better than 2007, hands down. If you guys go out and buy the 2008 cargo plane and car sets like they are the last sets Lego will ever make, It is almost certain that more "cargo" sets will come out. It is almost dead certain that they will expand to other themes (not just police) because they see a market for it. Therefore to all my lego friends *wub* BUY BUY BUY :'-) BUY like it is your last year alive :-P I want more varied sets and this is how we support them :-$

Firstly, who said "no thanks" to Vader? We all should be on our knees thanking him for all this info, it's not his fault that LEGO crapped on us lol. Thanks Vader, seriously, we love to hear fresh news. My personal view is that the Truck's front is quite nasty looking, seriously give it a look....all other fronts looks better than it: airport firetruck, ambulance, recycle truck, cement truck etc. That plane HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! My best guess is that "well little kids like big things," what are we going to do lol. The giant cargo plane a majority of us ( quite a lot if you read the forums ) think it's CRAP! The police plane.....*drum roll* verdict says it's CRAP from most of us. Now for the little cargo plane, oh I'm scared alright, I'm scarreeeed :'-( 2/3 planes = no good, what are the chances guys that the lil cargo plane will win our hearts? Anyone here ever taken statistics?? :'-( I haven't and I'm already coughing out blood.

The design is flawless and it fits modern times (GREEN is the word) because it uses natural lighting schemes instead of white fluorescent lighting on the slanted roof. From an artistic standpoint, it's just beautiful :-P . I am a city fan, and I love how this is going to fit in my collection. The BBQ grill: I don't see why it's so amazing to everyone, we can build one with our own pieces (most of us). But I guess you guys meant that it's great they added it on. Tree + Mailbox: Since this is a creator set, I think the mindset from the designer's standpoint is to make it as "buildable" as possible, thus you have to make your own tree and mailbox, instead of simply using already existing plastic molds. This set I think is going to be one of those sets that people will look back upon and ask, "why didn't I get that?" Or "why wasn't I born then?" Moving forward as a society, more houses are probably going to look just as environmentally friendly. Shoot, I wish I could live in a place like that :'-( Last word(s): Go LEGO! !~ :-D

My biggest mistake was not getting into the mini planes earlier or else I would have gone to every airline to buy their 06' promos :'-) but looking at the indy plane, and the description of the yellow cargo plane makes me so :-P gleeful. I have a question for you veterans (I'm new to Lego City) that have years of knowledge about Lego City sales; can you guys give me your approximation for when these will debut in stores or S@H? I can't wait :'-( thanks guys :-D

I really have my hopes up for the smaller cargo plane. How come no one has talked about the smaller version? Yes the big green one is gross. I love itty bitty planes. Do you guys think it will be like those promo sets? One person who saw it said that it's medium size.... And I have no idea what that means 8-|

Do you guys think that the cargo plane will be similiar to 2006's Promo Plane?? I really want that one :'-(
