Did you consider both? You could display castle for a month, then starwars. Or you could go out like a good boy and buy lots of bricks so you can do both!
-
Well, I'm glad you decided to join us in this fantastic place. Welcome to EB. Now let me just congratulate you on your fantastic MOC's. All of them in your folder are something really special. Well done mate! Captain Zuloo If you get stuck PM me!

What New Themes or Sets would you like TLG to make?
Captain Zuloo replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I think a cruise ship would be nice. Not one huge set, but lots of little modular ones. So you could buy the bridge, buy the loung, buy the lifeboats, the pool deck, the theatre etc. Probably not profitable, but what do you guys reckon? -
Well I think it is someone else's turn and I know many people on this forum are capable and have the knowledge to write a brickfilming tutorial But I'm trying to write in chronological order. So probably simple editing.

That's what you say... Yeah I know what you mean. There was this pirate film I watched called the Last Buccaneer. It had a huge treasure cave with a huge door holding up the sand that could be released if the Americans got hold of the pirate city. Dr. X, do you have any idea of what some improvements could be?
-
A agree. That's why I put so much effort into mine. I really have no idea when I'll release Oceans on End 2. I have done the first few scenes, but I have been really busy. So it could be the end of next monthe, or it could be after Christmas. I really have no idea.

Sweet train! Thos are BB wheels?
-
Yeah. They have the whole road thing downpat. Although I wouldn't mind seeing a tutorial on curves.
-
Good job mate. I respect you for succesfully creating an interior larger than the exterior. When I saw the topic name I thought it would be poor. But I was quite wrong. I'm impressed.
-
Thanks for that. Hopefully we will have enough tutorials to have their own index eventually.
-
Dork. And there is a door.
-
Oh is it? I think you'll find that ALL of Oceans on End #1 is shot at 15fps. And I think that is smooth (minus the boat leaving). Don't you?
-
Well in that case Guss, I challenge you to make a brickfilm using SMA at a smooth 15fps. It doesn't have to be a great plot, but try anyway!

Gee, it seems they walk in conveniently straight lines! What I like:(love) 1. THIS MOC! Dude, you have outdone yourself this time! 2. The doors to the underground cave. 3. The footprint idea. 4. The beard is the right way this time! What could be improved 1. The chairs in the boat - they don't look good. IMO you should replace them with benches. Pehaps two brown 1x4tiles length ways connected by two 1x2 plates at either side. Like the real boats benches but tith tiles on top for realism. 2. The captain's head could be a little more agro. Do you have any more appropriate heads? 3. Make the inside of the cave more rocky. Make it more jagged and random. Are there footprints on the side of the wall too? All in all, a wonderful MOC and one of my favourites so far. Cheers, Captain Zuloo

Well if you try walking at that speed, sure it is too fast. But a LEGO figure walking at that speed is different. They have to cover the same ground in the same time as they are smaller. Besides, I think it's kind of amusing to see a minifigs legs pumping it! Did you animate this from my tutorial? And regardless of that, man you need to secure that set! I can't stress how important it is to have a still baseplate! It often makes the difference between a film people will spend the time watching, and a film people will see the quality of and hit the "back" button. But I give you credit for actually making a film and not sitting on this forum all day!

Hello and welcome to the second Eurobricks brickfilming tutorial. This one isn't a tutorial on how to make a brickfilms as much as a tecnique to use in your films. In order to make this work you will need to know how to make animation. Here is a free tutorial about how to do just that. Anyway, without further ado, I present to you: Walking at 15fps Ok, so you know how to animate, but now you want to learn what to animate. In the general brickfilm there will be some walking so this is a good method to memorise. And remember, quality walking is something that could be the difference between an average film and one that sticks in your head. And to demonstrate - Eurobricks's own fantastic SlyOwl! Step 1. Step 2. Step 3. Step 4. Step 5. Step 6. Step 7. Step 8. To make your subject walk further, just repeat these steps until the subject gets where they are going. There can be multiple subjects in one shot, but keep on paper what step you are on for each subject or you will get confused. As I was taking the screenshots I prepared a little demo animation for you. I made it by following my example exactly and doing the whole thing a second time. Link Note: I only had 1 light to work with here so that is the reason for the jumpy light. If you follow this correctly you shouldn't have this issue. Now you know how to make a minifig walk, see this Video Conversion tutorial on how to convert video.

And the rest! If you are talking AUD, the average I've seen is $200 - $250. Hence the reason I don't own one!
-
English is the primarily spoken language all throughout the world. 20-25% of the world speak English, and many people speak English as a second language. And yes it is EURObricks, but the majority of Europeans speak it as a second language so it would be silly to put it in French. Then only a handfull of the people speaking French would be able to use it.

Someone sent this to me about 20 minutes ago so I'm not that bemused by it now. But that is certainly a work of art. To get those bricks to line up - a job very well done. Thanks for that Bonaparte

Black Seas Barracuda vs Skull's Eye Schooner
Captain Zuloo replied to ukdevilz's topic in LEGO Pirates
I don't think LEGO had accuracy in mind when they designed the names for the ships. After all, the Crossbone Clipper is not a clipper at all. If I didn't know better, I would say megablocks produced that set. -
This is supposed to represent the white beaches of the Caribbean, so it wouldn't have many rocks at all.
-
Will there ever be a newer better ship than the BSB or SES?
Captain Zuloo replied to Antsa Antero's topic in LEGO Pirates
Ah, but would you prefer to purchase the new ship (some pretty neat figures included) or the Crossbone Clipper? -
That's Ok. Just make sure you use this knowlege to create a brickfilm of your own. We want as many as possible.

Dutch VOC ship the Prins Willim, minifig scale!
Captain Zuloo replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in Pirate MOCs
Well, CGH! I had no idea you were such a talented MOCer. I glanced over this thread earlier, but I didn't actually look at it properly. You could well be one of the LEGOLAND modelers. Just one thing though: Is that figure head a bit small? When you compare it to the rest of the ship and then to other ships that have figure heads almost dominating the bow. I just find it a little small. But the ship is huge. How far do you think you'll get before Christmas? -
Don't - The two are so cool that they are built from LEGO, that it would be a shame to not be able to say "This is entirely LEGO bricks. No modifications at all."
