  1. And Mister Phes who was walking by the incident eating what was left of zorro3999 stopped and said...
  2. Which is exactly why I wish I had the SES. I have seen the instructions for the steering mechanism, but it just isn't the same. You're right pe668.
  3. How do you describe an angry potato? Boiling Mad. Sorry - I just had to!
  4. 65b It's not often we see great MOC's like this with custom hulls. According to this Brickshelf gallery, she belongs to Captain Pete and his wife who go galavanging off attacking trade shipping and other small ships. Enjoy! Brickshelf
  5. Sweet. There isn't that kind of thing happening in Canberra, Australia EVER! Sad, but alas Australia is not LEGO's most profitable country so there is no huge LEGO stores that do that.
  6. Well I'm no expert on this matter, but I would recommend perhaps following the instructions in RailBricks. I have a friend who did that step by step and his came out perfectly.
  7. Well this could be a bit costly, but you could have string running across the main street with working jack-o-lanterns on it?
  8. Cool. Did you have to demonstrate to them that you were capable of building before you could volunteer?
  9. You better start saving. Not only is LEGO expensive these days, but it will probably go up when the new pirate line comes out as it will be an "original".
  10. Rubbish! It's just camoflauge! Gee LKOE...
  11. WHAT? You wasted money on non-pirate related LEGO? Hang your head in shame!
  12. Who says I was referring only to that post...
  13. Silly Guss! That is the back. So we see different details. I do really like this MOC. It looks simple, but effective. I think though, it should be called Pirate Islet. An islet is a really tiny island. In fact all of the LEGO pirate islands should be islets. Anyway, keep up the good work. I'm looking foward to seeing more of your MOC's.
  14. Thanks for this site - although I wasn't as pleased as I could have been with the results of classic-pirates.com. Although I know lots of people visit it daily, so it could be wrong. Never know...
  15. Well now you tell us! Not that it really matters. Is she into LEGO?
  16. What kind of crap are they trying to pull? There are LEGO stores in Australia! That is the bigest load of poo I have heard all month! Bloody insane!
  17. I just love building! The only reason I have a model not knocked down (I need to keep it for a train show) is because I put it in a box on top of my wardrobe! I'm hopless like that, so even if I wanted to keep a set MISB, I just couldn't resist opening it!
  18. There is an index, but the horrible staff members (PHES! ) won't release it. I guess it's just a matter of going back a few pages. And hey! I find heaps of interesting stuff I wasn't counting on when I do that1
  19. That's kinda what I was getting at in my last post. Not too sucessfully though. So well explained Guss!
  20. Yet his avatar is a woman...
  21. Well I have almost $300 set aside for 9v track, but that is nothing compared to this! This one would completely crush my LEGO budget!
  22. By your description, it souns as though TLC were trying to reproduce Noah's Ark!
  23. That's nothing new for Zorro! Not mean at all...
  24. However in some of the really old sets this technique was used. For instance: that plane with the tail.
  25. The whole ship is quite appauling IMO. Should never have been produced.
