You know, on second thought I'm quite happy to be left out of this MOC! I think a large number of sellers on ebay accept cheque - maybe worth a look now and again.
-
I think they should get their own opinion. There aren't that many brickfilms being posted here as there is no forum. I think it would attract more members too. And besides, I probably shouldn't say this, but I think EB is a much more friendly and welcoming community than brickfilms.com.

Yeah. You fixed it. Although if I were you, I would resize the image in the first post too. Did you see your ships on Classic-Pirates.com frontpage?
-
Oh well - I wouldn't have trusted you not to kill me off anyway! Hehehe. I would however recommend getting more of those torsos and heaps more of the tricorns. Especially if the only way to get the tricorns in the new line is to buy the big sets. Those peices are in demand in my collection, and I don't know about you, but when pricing goes down on BL and Ebay due to the new line, I'm gonna pile em up high!

Hahahaha. Speechless. In my opinion you need to: 1. Detail the interior of the ship and you won't have to tile the sides. 2. Loose the ropes - their position contradicts usual mooring rope systems. 3. Replace the tiles on the dock with 1x1 tiles of different shades of grey and black. It would just look more cobblestone and random. 4. Change the top deck into a non-SNOT one. that way my next improvement will be easier and I think it would be nice to see some ornamental railing. 5. Don't have the mast directly in the centre and if you do, move the gangplank. They can't walk onto the ship right into a mast! 6. Get rid of one of the boxes on the side of the mast. At the moment, the whole ship looks symetric and I think this would greatly help that. But I think you did well, especialy by: 1. Making use of log bricks as timber. (I challenge you to make a realistic shaped bow with that method. ) 2. Using roof tiles on the dock to make the join smoother. 3. Building awesome swivel canons. They rock! You really have done a great entry though, and make these improvements and it will be perfect. Good luck!

Very good Adam, but I see a few problems. 1. In this particular case a red bandana doesn't fit with the rest of the MOC as blood, so pehaps you could use red transparent plates? 2. The round plates in the water. They look to - weird. I don't know how to best describe it, but I don't think they really fit with the rest of the MOC. 3. The brown roof tiles, I think you should put a 1x8 tan plate in their place. I say this because then you can add a form of a sloped roof. All in all though, make these improvements and you are well on the road to success. Good luck!

Oops! That's the second time Iv'e done that today! Could staff get rid of one of them please? Cheers.

Perhaps we should leave this conversation right there!

He has your torso - something many possible assasins lack.

I suppose there was one pirate set with no centre sections - The Crossbone Clipper I think Doctor Who's time machine is cooler.

SlyOwl seems to have a habbit of doing cool MOC's.

Just looking at the tophat on my cupboard (don't ask me why I have a tophat on my cupboard) I see it does have turned up edges, so good work in replicating the real thing a little better.

Aw maaaaaaaaaaaate!!!!!! If only you had a LEGO sigfig not a person photo! Oh and pe668, I like the improvements. The spider adds heaps as do the ellow hands. If you look at that torso, it is meant to be bare skin under a singlet top. So red hands were kinda out of place - unless you have bright red hands on the end of your arms!

I think Zorro meant you need to resize the images in your first post. Have you seen our Batch Image Resize Tutorial?

Aw come on - I took this just after my ajustments to my PTV entry. Give me a break!

PICTORIAL REVIEW: 6285 Black Seas Barracuda
Captain Zuloo replied to Capn Frank's topic in LEGO Pirates
Those salty cheesburgers got you too huh? I pity you. -
Good. Although I don't see why the captain's beard isn't attached to his face - that could get embarassing sometimes!

How a minifig actually looks inside
Captain Zuloo replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I tried this too. I would have been interested to see what it said, but even on this guy's site, there is no image of a quality high enough to read the words. Even if there was a bigger one, it would be unreadable anyway due to all the huge pixles. -

The funny thing is, we take minifigs apart so reguarly, and we can see right into their heads yet I have never noticed this before. I wonder why... -
And we can't argue with the admins and mods! *Anger building*

Swet man! Although I thought when I saw the first picture that it went underground and I pictured a HUGE cavernous place with labs, hangars etc. I like the projector. And the guy complaining about having to fix the building reguarly. So my apologies for reading it go to him, but I think it was woth his suffering for me to see this great base. (Two thumbs up!)

What's your favourite LEGO Pirate animal?
Captain Zuloo replied to Col. Whipstick's topic in LEGO Pirates
Wicked in a bad way when it comes to animating them. They are quite limited in their capabilities when you compare them to a real monkey - their heads can't even turn.
