  1. Armendariz, take heed - THIS is an army. Very nice troops Lukemax, only thing I could suggest is mabe you designing a custom flag for them to wave?
  2. This is a lovely creation. But I'm so used to seeing that colour scheme on the Green Grocer that I find it hard to look at it without thinking 'town'. However when I made the image negative in photoshop, it really was interesting. Very well done here matey, and keep up in the pirate forum!
  3. This one ought to be tough: Captain Zuloo --> Captain Zulu
  4. Hello Mister Mixtill, and welcome to Eurobricks and Classic-Pirates.com! I don't know if you're aware, but the crew and myself maintain a special pirate fan site called Classic-Pirates.com. We blog something new every day, be it a MOC, LEGO news, ebay finds or anything else! But make sure you check it out! Anyway, I'm happy to have another Pirate fan here, and I look foward to getting to know you. Cheers, Captain Zuloo
  5. Happy Birthday friend! I hope you have a brilliant day with your friends and family, and a little LEGO here or there probably wouldn't hurt. =P Have a great day!
  6. Well tomorrow is the long time anticipated day of shipping, so we soon shall see...
  7. I was wondering about that soldier who was missing a leg... Well, I hope you like the new frontpage item.
  8. Dammit, you're making me tempted to buy a stupid set just to experiment with that!
  9. Could you not use the old 12v straight track with 2x6 plate 'sleepers'?
  10. Ech! This set is terrible! Look at the bricks. Obviously it is intended to be underground, but why then is the track sitting on 'metal' supports? And there are very few small MOCing bricks too. I'm somewhat dissapointed. And I'll wager that they'll flog it off for about $120AUD! *shakes head*
  11. Very nice Rick! I really like how you have presumably used 1x2 plates to raise the cheese wedge triangle shapes to give your ocean that wavy effect. I really like this entry. The only thing that I could suggest to improve it is if you have a dark (black or brown) string as rigging on the boat. It just kinda seems wierd having the jib sail without any rope holding it up. But very well done, and good luck in the contest!
  12. Wow man, that's huge! I don't even have the equaivalant of one of the small groups of guys. Really nice. When you get your French army up, these fellas will be marching right onto the Classic-Pirates.com frontpage. Thanks for sharing!
  13. Hello and welcome to Eurobricks mate! Ensure you drop by Classic-Pirates.com which is run by myself and the Crew from time to time! Enjoy your stay!
  14. Sounds good Zorro. Certainly Classic-Pirates.com frontpage quality!

  16. Happy birthday fellas! And can someone please change Jipay's post count from 8388607 to 10,000,000 as a birthday gift?
  17. Indeed this is a nice vessle. She may well be sailing onto the Classic-Pirates.com frontpage in the near future!
  18. But I saw a member with 70 + posts who was still in the 'I'm New!' group. And is the Siegfried thing permanant?
  19. It seems it is back to the 15th of April in Australia. Let's hope it stays that way.
  20. I think he was using a webcam and that is probably the best image quality he could get from it.
  21. I don't know, but an alternative is webs.com. Or, an even better alternative is if your ISP account has any web hosting space, and you have web design knowledge (HTML, CSS, Javascript etc.) to create your own page rather than a Yahoo one.
  22. I mean, if there is a speed controller on the battery box, is there means of controling the speed via the remote control. Or is the speed preset and the RC remote only does direction?
  23. I don't mind the battery box in 10194, because it wouldn't be all that hard to cover it up with a thin layer of black 'coal'. However the huge motor in the driving cab sucks! And with the battery box having a speed dial, can train speed be controlled remotely? If not, then there is no question, I'm sticking with 9V.
  24. I'm not really sure how to take that?
  25. Like I said, you filthy drunk pirate!!!
