    Received email from Barnes and Noble this morning... In the USA, they are advertising Triwizard Challenge, Buckbeak's Rescue, Clock Tower, and Knight Bus as B&N Exclusives from July 1-31.

    Probably 10 years ago, my wife bought me a Toy Story LEGO set from Wal-Mart for Father's Day. I opened it up to find the bricks replaced by ziplock bags full of rice! Needless to say I took it back to Wal-Mart and luckily was able to get a replacement without too much trouble...

    Noticed this is being called 'Series 1'. Don't see this printed anywhere on the packaging nor in press releases... Just being hopeful for future releases or is it a given another set is in the works?

    I bought all 22 from a local Target (Dallas, TX) in the last 24hrs for $3.99 each... (Well $3.80 each after red card discount + 8.25% sales tax)

    Built the Hogwarts Express and put it on LEGO train track along with the King's Cross Station (powered by a passenger car, engine is still stock). Would you believe the Train will not go under the bridge as built in the Instructions? Yep! There is a black smoke stack that is 1/3 brick too tall and hits the underside of the bridge. Fortunately this smoke stack sits on a round 2x2 piece that can be removed to solve the issue... Cannot believe this was released like this by LEGO...

    USA LEGO Store employees have told me release date moved up to July 1 for this series... Boxed sets that is... No word on CMF line... TRU closing has screwed up plans for many releases and LEGO is adjusting calendar on the fly...

    Father bought a bulk lot at a garage sale 10+ years ago and it's been sitting in his garage... Finally took a look at it this past weekend and it has a monorail in it. There is a clean 9V battery box (from the 6482 Helicopter) A motor and the black bases to make cars Track What is missing is the power cable to connect motor to battery box. Is this cable monorail vintage specific or will newer PF cables work? If I have to track down vintage cable, any known issues to look for? Thanks Paul

    I just picked up several used Monster Fighter Sets this week in a trade. Several Dark Red Pieces were cracked or fell apart upon disassembly... 1x1 tile with tooth that line Dracula Hearse windows 1x4 flat tiles that make Bed in Vampyre Castle No problems with any other pieces, only the Dark Red Versions of these two...
