Look forward to the upcoming mocs, Lord V. Do we have a lot of faithful members here interested in building a city for our great guild? -

Morholt Keep - Dark Isle Saga Chapter 2, Part 1
Captain BeerBeard replied to Derfel Cadarn's topic in Guilds of Historica
I love this landscape. It reminds me a lot of The Fields of Misery from Diablo3. The trees especially, are great. The rockwork reminds me of early 21 century Legonardo. The keep it self is its own marvel but I think you played it too safe with the shape. The different roof types work great. The Monster Fighters roof really works. I've been trying to find a use for the Harry Potter ones forever. I think a few pumkins would have really been cool. I'm guessing your saving that for another moc. All the little details are great as are the figures.  -

Red Hook is good but weak. The long hammer ipa they make is a treat. Ever try that? -

I'm not going to quote anybody here but there's a huge misconception about American beer. I don't drink anything less than 8ish percent unless it's for flavor. There is no mass produced beer in Germany that's higher than 5.4 abv. I know there is higher alcohol beers brewed but they aren't common session beers. We have beers over 20 abv here in the states. I don't drink any European much unless for flavor and history. We have the strongest here. Your country just doesn't have it because it can't afford it or is ashamed it can't afford American beer and because we have the best now and doesn't want to admit it. You should visit America. We have the best of everything. How's that sound? That's truth. -

All you guys talking Megabloks about beards haven't seen my real life beard. You haven't seen my weightlifting ability either. Fear the beard. Captain BeerBeard. The beard to be feared. The beard to be feared. (<over emphasising) hehe! -
Everything is gorgeous. It all flows so well together. Nice colors too.

@Zach I'm planning on building that entire mansion with a full interior eventually. I'm not worried about any color or specific areas. I'm just going to build it with what is available. I would suggest just building it and not worry about any colors. -
The rickety cave structure looks dope. I really love the shrooms to the right. Great figs as well.

NOCTURNUS TRIBE: The White Elves
Captain BeerBeard replied to Captain BeerBeard's topic in Guilds of Historica
@Rolli I agree that white elf hair would be awesome. We can only dream. Thanks all. Glad you liked the figs. -
The whole build to the figs looks really great. The tree technique is underused in my opinion. Are all those branches real LEGO?

@Yam You can make whatever faction or factions. I would like to think there are cities. There's nothing saying you can't build one.
