42083 - Bugatti Chiron
Jaromir replied to Jurss's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hahaha, instead of that they could give additional parts to convert Chiron to Bugatti Vision concept :p -

Ohh car key. I know Chiron has two of them, one to start the engine and second to unlock more horse power as the real engine has got some locks. As on that key there is quite long grey axle, it might unlock some functions in the model, like that rear spoiler or something :) -

Can somebody tell me what is that grey thing next to the bag on instruction booklet picture? -

Yes, tho front of Chiron is too long by few studs, or the windscreen is few studs behind where it should be :) -

woow, when I am looking at recent photos, I have to admit that I have started to like the way it looks, even though I didn't like it at very beginnig. However, when I am lookingg at body line of Chiron on the side view picture, I am not sure if it close to real Chiron. -

Omg, I am little bit dissapointed somehow. Still will wait to see the video of the model to give my final judgement. -

OMG, it looks so beautiful. I am not interested in Chiron anymore as I used to be, because of that beast. They managed to cover the most of the gaps and holes, it looks so nice. Hopefully the functions will work smoothly!- 1,224 replies

Big silence on the forum and probably only 5 days left to Chirons media release, seems like everybody have enough of speculations and just want to see a final model :D -

That's why I hope that Chiron will be amazing, because lego was never so secretive about any model before. 1st of May is so close, we will find out soon if it all of that hype was worthless or not. Lego must be very confident about their model this time :) -

For sure Amazon ships to other European countries, as I have ordered from Amazon UK to Poland. I think there should be no problem, but no promises :). You can always try to order something and then cancel, you will se if you can choose India :)- 1,224 replies

Am I seeing right? Azure front and blue rear with tan interior? -

OMG!!!! That is 2 kg more than the Porsche Box. For sure the instruction booklet will be bigger in number of pages, but for sure not 1 kg heavier than Porsche instruction. Maybe model will be way heavier than 911? -

Sorry for my vocabulary mistakes, couldn't remember if it was marriage or wedding :D. And I totally agree with you. I prefer to see better looking finished model than having nice time during build, however that would be a nice surprise :) -
42083 - Bugatti Chiron
Jaromir replied to Jurss's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hi guys. Not sure if anybody mention that before. When was Lego was designing Porsche model, they have tried to make the assembly process similar to assembly of a real car. That most significant similarity was "wedding" process, connecting drive line (chassis) with the frame (body). In case of Chiron, which is assembled manually, not by robotized line, there is one significant moment during assembly process. The engine with the rear compartment is basically sliding in to the front of the Chiron and being bolted together by 12-16 bolts. Do you think that Lego Chiron assembly will be exactly the same way as real one? Underneath you can find the link to the video exactly at the minute of assembly. -
