Releasing a recolored set needs almost no work from Lego. Past set would require Lego to update them to modern standards.

The front of the ship wasn't long enough on the old one. It's difficult to see if it has been improved on this one.

First pirate ship had way too many small parts (ie: 1x1 round plates). The build wasn't interesting because of the that. If they reduce the number if parts but make it more fun to build, it's a good thing.

I see one gear on each side of the truck but there are 3 functions which need to be controlled: turning the crane, deploying outriggers, lifting the dump bed. Is there a function which isn't controlled by a gear?

The sets are cute but random purchase is such a bad idea... And it will be much more expensive than a single box allowing to build everything.

Previous 3in1 creator pirate ship wasn't interesting to build. It relied too much on very small parts (ie: 1x1 round plates...). I hope that Lego has improved things for this one.

I've disasambled the differentials to try again and this time, I've successfully put the cap on while keeping the gears moving smoothly. Thanks for your help.

It's difficult to make the wheels turn in opposite directions. Is it normal with the new differentials or should I try to rebuild it?

It would only set the price to what should have been the official lego price. We would need another 40% on top of that to have the same kind of good deal as on other sets.

When will the reviews of the technic sets be out?

I've just built this set and I've been disappointed by the instructions for the stickers: The stickers on the wings are put after having built both wings. How is a kid supposed to use the part with the correct sticker when rebuilding it?!

With the dumb battery box, the price is even more incomprehensible. Has Lego ever made a mistake when announcing the price of a set? At 200€, it would be a very likeable set.

It is listed at 100€. I was expecting it to be a around 70€. Did the Volvo license became that expensive?!

In french, it says "this set includes a rechargeable battery (working with a USB-C cable, not included)".

The lock mechanism can be something new if it allows to change of tool using only the gearbox. But it won't make it worth 400€ (or even 250€ if we wait for a good deal).
