  1. Sets are good, but the very "realistic" aesthetic of the characters does not help the LEGO figures. It is a bit hard to see the Penguin in the Penguin minifig, for instance. But I like the batmobile and specially the batcave. Riddler fig is nice. The bike set is jeopardized by the lack of a mask for Catwoman. Which she indeed wears at 0:16 of the DC Fandome trailer. A black head with printed face and Black Panther ears would do the trick.
  2. That's a good choice! I can see them using the First Appearance cowl.
  3. Just to correct myself, the Captain America mech fig was not reused later on. Yeah, I think LEGO likes to put a helmet/head accessory on the fig to make the it bulkier and give a better look to the mech as a whole, so I expect a cowl for Wolverine.
  4. Very nice info, indeed! IIRC, mech figs are always are somehow reused in future sets, so Wolverine might appear in even more sets (perhaps X-Men themed sets)!
  5. I think Gamorrean guards figs are likely to appear in the set, but that's just an assumption.
  6. Great list! My picks of your list are showed below. Some comments on my suggestions: -The droidekas/speeder would probably be better for army building, but as a MOC, I would prefer see the crab droid, which LEGO hasn't still made; - Ewok glider would also be a great build, and the Endor battlepack is something long overdue for LEGO; - I suggested the Boga set, but I agree the Ep 2 chase set is loong overdue, so I'm torn on these two; -After looking the figs for the +18 set, I suggest giving to Rey her yellow lightsaber (actually the only possible set to feature her lightsaber);
  7. Cool! Microfighters: -$10 Slave 1 with Boba; -$10 TIE Fighter with TIE Pilot. There were several TIE microfighters, but never an original TIE one; -$20 Boga vs Wheel Bike 2-pack with Obi-Wan and Grievous. I like the creature microfighters; Battlepacks: $15 Trooper Evolution Battle Pack. Comes with a P1 clone, a P2 clone, an OT stormtrooper and a FO stormtrooper, so you can build four armies at the same time! (I'm dreaming, I know); $15 Droid battlepack: 3 reguler B1 droids, 1 B1 firefighter droid and 2 B2 superbattledroids. I choose this for the firefighter droid; Duel set: $20 Duel on Death Star. Vader vs Ben Kenobi; System sets: $30 Kamino lab. Small lab with Nala-Se, Omega and Tech; $40 Naboo N-1 Starfighter. A smaller version of the starship, keeping the recent trend of LEGO. Comes with Naboo pilot, Anakin, R2-D2 and battle droid; $50 Riot Mar Starship. Comes with Riot Mar and Mando; $50 Rebels B-wing prototype. The red one. Comes with Hera, Quarrie and Zeb; $60 Republic Y-wing. The blue one. Comes with Rex, astromech droid, Gregor (commando armor) and Hunter; $80 Yavin-4 Base. It is basically the Yavin-4 version of Vader's Castle. One side of the temple is closed with an opening gate, the other side is open, where there is a meeting room, a room for explaining the death star plan, and a hangar at the bottom. A very small X-wing (matching the small TIE advanced). Comes with Mon Mothma, Dodonna, Red Leader, Green leader and two Rebel fleet troopers; +18 set: Fennec Shand Helmet.
  8. I was expecting the other accessory pack to feat Mando, Grogu, Luke and a Dark Trooper, but given the last set reveal I'm gonna predict the following accessory pack: Captain Rex, Ahsoka and two Battle droids: a mirror of 40418, with a new detailed fig, a repeat and two army builder foes.
  9. I suspect not, but I'm expecting a black hood piece and a cape, along with the hairpiece.
  10. My minifig wishlist for Bobba's palace and one of the accessory packs (which I'm assuming/wishing will be a tie-in to the playset): Boba's palace: Boba Fett (repeat), Fennec Shand (helmet and new hair mold), Gamorrean Guard, Bib Fortuna (new) and Droopy McCool (new mold); Accessory Pack: Boba Fett (same), Gamorrean Guard and Max Rebo (mid legs with tan hips). It comes with builds of Max's Nalargon instrument and of the b'ohmarr monk. I know the band is from Ep 6, but it would still be nice getting them. I only put one of the remaining two in the palace because LEGO would never release both at the same time.
  11. I like this approach of releasing sets which "combine" with the UCS Gunship and AT-AT. Given there is still no snowspeeder (it may be in the final set), do you think there might be an snowspeeder in the UCS AT-AT set? It would use only an small part of the piece count.
  12. Aren't the Hoth Scout troopers an only toy design from Hasbro? And they are confirmed to be in the next battlepack, so I assume the 187th troopers are on the table as well. I like the purple design for them. A good set I didn't expect it.
  13. Agreed, I had hopes the $30 one was something like the Mandalorian Forge, a scene of the palace with Boba, Fennec and a third figure. The Palace might be a great set, but it is definitely an expensive one.
  14. The fact it is based on a new show (even if it's Boba's) also makes me think the set will be small ($30), instead of the $100 one. Personally I hope that's the case (a cheaper way to acquire new Boba fig). But who knows, maybe there are two Palace sets who can connect, since the two previous Jabba's Palace LEGO sets had multiple sets which connected to each other. Also, when Yoda's training set was revealed, I remembered of a Just2good podcast, where Jangbricks was talking about over saturation of sets and said "I like the new X-Wing. But please Lego, don't make a Dagobah version of it next year!" I guess Lego understood it the other way around! (You can see at 30 min).
  15. I think the accessory sets usually complete a theme already released instead of introducing something new (like Bad Batch), judging by the other themes. And they like to mix new figs with repeats. As a result: My likely prediction: Mando with new head and hair (finally), Grogu, Luke Skywalker (maybe an exclusive face) and Dark Trooper. It comes with lots of weapons for them, and a cradle for Grogu. The same from the AC, but in the right colors. My least likely prediction: Boba Fett (repeat), Fennec Shand (with hair and without helmet), Bib Fortuna (new fig). Several accessories/weapons for the figs and a small throne build.
  16. Oops... I guess these 10 episodes explain how Maz Kanata got Luke's lightsaber and show the origin of each one of the Knights of Ren...
  17. The Episode IX A-wing is a strange set to me, it definitely should have been blue and come with Tallie, instead of Snap. My theory is that the Winter 2021 wave was heavily jeopardized by the pandemic, which would explain the omissions (microfighter and BPs) and the two rehashes (Falcon MF and 4+ X-Wing). They just took shortcuts to these sets.
  18. If LEGO makes a Saw Gerrera fig someday (I hope), I can see the Wrecker armor piece being used for him. Not a perfect fit, but close enough.
  19. True. At least, a nemesis microfighter is guaranteed (Right? RIGHT?), so I hope for a MF Slave-1 with the new Boba, but other possibilities also look good: lightcruiser with Moff Gideon, TIE Outlander with TIE Pilot, or Riot Mar and his ship (the ship came in the Advent Calendar, so I guess it is on the table).
  20. Not the most interesting choice for the return of BPs, but a safe bet for LEGO, definitely! Regarding the stand, the translation of the Promobricks article says: "What is new is that there will probably be a kind of presentation stand for the four included minifigures, on which the soldiers can be presented, similar to a LEGO minifigure collection series. This can possibly also be attached to a potential minifigure display from the UCS AT-AT." Let's see if this is an special approach just for this BP because of the UCS, and the reason for the price increase.
  21. I think it can be a bit smaller/cheaper, in the same price point of the last X-Wing (50 USD), since the wings are not that big.
  22. My full prediction list for the 2022 winter wave. It is focused on smaller renditions of the ships, as it appears to be trend, and tries to balance OT, PT and the new shows. Set name (price): minifigs / additional notes. -------------------------- Boba Fett's Starship microfighter ($10): Boba fett / Slave-1 microfighter TIE Outlander microfighter ($10): TIE Pilot Imperial Remnant Battlepack ($15): 3x Dark Troopers and 1 Imperial Officer / 3 pods/bays for the troopers, just like the Iron Man Hall of Armour Siege of Mandalore Battlepack ($15): 2 P2 plain clones, 1 Ahsoka clone and 1 Mandalore loyalist Boga vs Wheel bike microfighter ($20): Obi wan and General Grievous / Keeps the trend of brick-built animals 4+ AT-ST ($20): AT-ST pilot and Ewok / It uses the legs from 71740 Jay's 4+ mech -------------------------- A-Wing ($20): Green leader and Mon Mothma V-Wing ($30): V-wing pilot, Elite clone trooper and Echo Luke's homestead ($40): Luke, Uncle and Aunt Lars Republic Y-wing ($60): Captain Rex, Omega, Hunter Jedi Interceptor vs Jango Fett's Starship ($70): Obi-wan, astromech droid, Jango and Boba Fett / AOTC anniversary! Basically a "big microfighter pack". Recolor of one of the small Slave-1s we got recently. -------------------------- I'm gonna go ahead and predict two 2022 Summer wave sets: Duel on "somewhere" ($20): Ben Kenobi and Darth Vader duel set, based on the Kenobi Disney+ show. Millennium Falcon ($100): Han Solo, Chewbacca, Lando and Nien Numb
  23. Here's an idea: remember when Star Wars had $10 planets sets? It would be nice to get a similar for Ego! Ego minifigure, white ship microbuild and Ego, the living planet!
  24. That's a great idea! A $20 set with Star-Lord vs Ego with a build of the Ego planet instantly becomes a must have for me! I think the small systems sets became better with the time. Crossbones Hazard Heist is an example of an inaccurate cheap set we just buy for the figs, but look at the Dragon Flyer: a great build if I may say, and a cheap set. That's a set we are not buying just for the figs. And even an inaccurate system set is better than the 4+ counterpart, since you can use more pieces later for MOCs.
  25. Wow, good news! A great series, even if the best two were already revealed (Spidey and Falcon Cap). T'challa and Gamora are also good! But I need to emphasize how good Captain Falcon is! Throg is a bit weird, I guess I expected a smaller head. This. I agree with you, they blended the molded approach, which looks better, with the brick built tips, which allow for movement without detracting the look. Superb! The fact the tips are slightly up make the visual better too!
