  1. Nice! Wanda has the power pieces, and Cap's bike is not red, surprinsigly. The Iron Monger is not as oversized as I think it would be, good!
  2. Two new Marvel Legends products were found/revealed under The Infinity Saga brand today. I don't know how this affect the LEGO reveal...
  3. Hey, folks! I'm back after a while. Sounds like a very strong possibility, in Marvel Must Haves. Benatar was already a great set before, I'm sure it will be a greater build now, at a greater price point. Regarding the final battle, I have one tiny expectation (which will probably be lead to dissapointment): they give Iron Man Mk85 dual molded legs (gold/dark red). It would give a way more consistent look between the arms and the legs. On a general note, I believe the best thing about this wave is not the minifigures designs (which follow the LEGO Marvel standards of always), but the fact that LEGO gave us a wave based on old films, fillings several gaps of the past. I even questioned before why LEGO released generic mechs instead of existing mechs (like SP//dr and Leopardon), and in this wave LEGO is giving us Dragon Flyer and Sanctuary II, two existing ship designs, instead of generic fighters! I see this as an absolute win!
  4. Ok, I gotta admit I did not like this Rocket fig. For me, the figure should have been dark blue instead of DBG. But perhaps it's more Marvel's fault than LEGO's, because the outfit is indeed between gray and blue in the Hot Toys fig. My memory actually remembered the outfit as dark blue probably because of the comic version.
  5. Given the price point, it will probably be like that. The ship will look more like a fighter than a large vessel, in terms of size. But it will still be a cool looking ship, with lots of gold pieces!
  6. The details of the advent calendar are very good! The yellow jacket spidey sounds like a perfect fit, and these days I was wondering why there were never a Helicarrier polybag like the quinjet and milano ones, but now there will be a microbuild of it!
  7. Yeah, would be good to correct the fig with blue kinetic details. That's an overload of info... Good to hear they are actually making the Sanctuary II ship, and at this point I wonder: all the designs are the Endgame ones? If so the Captain Marvel fig will be the inverted palette one with short hair, from the final battle. And I guess Iron Patriot is still missing from the sets.
  8. Thank you for looking for the info @SpiderJazz, very good news then!
  9. That's great news! I think this design looks way better than the orange one we got. I wonder if she will come with a tan cloth piece over the legs.
  10. I thing you might be right, and this would be a great set!
  11. It's like Wandavision being released weekly, it gives time for theories and discussions.
  12. Thanks, so many new information it is hard to keep up!
  13. You both have a point, thanks! Regarding the Shang-chi set, after three very cosmic Eternals sets and one very mythological Shang-chi set, we were just unaccustomed to the standarts of before: mundane vehicles and bikes. Oddly, 3 of the 5 minifigs are repeats (Shang-chi, Wenwu and Morris), which really detracts the appeal of this set.
  14. Wow, just wow! Legacy sets are a real thing! I'm gonna just drop two theories/questions: -Do you think there is gonna be a collectable feature in the sets, like the golden figures of Ninjago and the retro figures of Star Wars anniversary sets? -Since Endgame Battle does not have many build material, do you think they mighy make and Iron Patriot Buster mech in the set? It would be oversized of course, but it would be great to put Rocket in the mech shoulder, like in the movie.
  15. Nice work, you captured the proportions of the mech! I intrigued LEGO still didn't release this two canon mechs. I too did my own versions of SP//dr and Leopardon:
  16. We only need a Venom bigfig (the Gargan Venom) and the Venom gang will be complete!
  17. Spider-man (sees more Venom minifigs): "They are not stopping!" But that is actually a good choice of minifigs. The new helmet is better than the previous one, and reuse the Spider-ham mold to Pork Grind is great!
  18. Interesting, Marvel is really diving into chinese mithology then. So perhaps this dragon is a carp dragon, like Gyarados.
  19. Wow, Marvel theme really has changed. A lot to talk about it. The build of the Shang-chi set is the highlight of the set. The Shang-chi minifig design is a bit bland, but that's on Marvel. If they had give him enough highlights in the costume, LEGO would be "forced" to give him leg printing. I think not only Wenwu, but Death Dealer also has leg printing. It definitely feels like the dragon shares design influences from the Eternals sets. I still can't understand how Morris looks like. Two wings, six legs, but where is the face?
  20. Hello, everyone! LEGO really likes making mechs for Marvel, so decided making two mechs who are actual from Marvel lore: SP//dr and the Leopardon! SP//dr is the mech created by Peni Parker in an alternate universe, and takes design notes from Evangelion units. I based on the comics design, not in the one from the animated movie: It can fit one spider-man minifigure inside, as you can see: Here's a close-up of the face: Leopardon, on the other side, is the giant mecha of Supaidaman, the hero from a tokusatsu series. Leopardon is actually the first mecha in this kind of shows ever! I design this based on LEGO line of small mechs: Fully articulated, Leopardon wields an energy sword on the right hand, and fits one minifigure inside its cockpit: Additionally, you can attach theTurning Arc in its right hand! Finally, a comparison of both mechs to my Spider figures: Thank you all, I hope you enjoy!
  21. I can definitely see Thor adopting the name of Thunderstrike after/if Jane becomes Thor, in a funny conversation with Korg, where there is a confusion about too many Thors.
  22. Moving on a bit from the Korg conundrum, some set photos from Thor: Love and Thunder have been revealed. Among the new designs, Thor's one is the highlight. Very 90's, but with CLASSIC YELLOW BOOTS! I hope LEGO gives the minifig dual molded legs. Also, there may be goats in the sets .
  23. I would like to see LEGO releasing Godzilla sets, but with brick-built kaijus, not like the JW dinos. They could go for the Monsterverse license (then we would have Kong and the movie monsters), or go for the Toho license, and release the classic designs. I imagine two scales: one with the mixel ball joints, were each kaiju is a $10-$20 set, and one with the big ball joints, where the kaijus are $40 more detailed sets.
  24. Still, it is an older set than the two towers, which are still active. And if the Endgame Quinjet is now retired, that's an opportunity for a new one to hit shelves.
  25. I just built the MIles Mech, and it does look very good on hand. Not only the minifig is great, but i really liked how the trans-blue webs were integrated in the mech. Add this to the poseability of so many ball joints, and the set is great! Regarding the D2C, I feel the two stronger contenders are the Quinjet, and a gauntlet (if they choose the "display piece" route). I don't see an Avengers tower as a possibility because we've had two towers recently, and our last quinjet was a while ago.
