  1. Here is my entry for the contest: Theme: Marvel Super Heroes "I am not a fan of those fans" - Spider-Man A few other pictures at: https://bricksafe.com/pages/PRbrickbuilder/spider-man-vignette
  2. -AT-TE sounds like an excellent set. I'm glad for you guys, and personally I hope next year we get a 212th battlepack, with 3 troopers and a new airborne. -The P2 helmet finally has holes. So many possibilities! -Both Obi wan sets sounds very cool. So this year, we're getting three long overdue characters/designs: a Kaminoan, P2-Cody and Aunt Beru. A remarkable achievement!
  3. I don't know if this spoiler or not, but after seeing the Empire images and the new legacy featurette, it is nice how there are several builds from the sets which are accurate to the movie:
  4. After seeing the Marvel Legends for Love and Thunder, it is disappointing how the smaller set could have had both Ravager Thor and the new Star-Lord fig, instead of Thor and Jane repeats. This change, even with the same Gorr and creature monster build, would have made a huge difference.
  5. I hope your theory is right, and we see a new set with smaller Blue vs Red, at $40, with some new minifigures.
  6. That would be a great idea. They could make a smaller Blue (with the Atrociraptor mold) vs another Atrociraptor, and give us Dogson and Ramsay. Dimetrodon would be nice too.
  7. Although a MBS Yavin 4 seems possible at some point, I think there is two factors which debunk the idea: there have been no Yavin 4 sets at all, iirc. We only got MBS Hoth after several small Hoth sets. MBS Cantina after several small Cantina sets. And before MBS Cloud City there was at least the Carbon Freezing Chamber, and a classic Could City set. Additionally, I can't see an MBS Yavin 4 over $350. $530 is too much.
  8. Got the Razor Crest Microfighter. Not the best microfighter version, but I got for the fig and the pieces, in order to build a Mando N-1 starfighter. Good thing both Mando ships share the same color scheme!
  9. Now that's a plot twist! I did not think Lego would release P1 and P2 clones at the same time. And they did! Fun fact: the airbone trooper is the commander of the legion.
  10. Outstanding MOCs, @Mandalorianknight!!!!!!This looks like a dream wave! - Both microfighters are great! I like how the Slave 1 still has gravity adjusting wings; - I like how the stud shooters in the AT-ST vs Glider are cleverly integrated; - Is the B-wing main wing tiled on both sides? Nice! - The Yavin temple is great! Another type of set I wish LEGO releases someday! - Using the dragon head piece for Boga is a great idea! Lego really should adhere to these concept for creatures. It would enable a Bantha (just a head mold + brick built body). All of these sets would sell like hotcakes, actually!
  11. That's a strange solution for sure, but I can see it been real. It mimics the Carbonite Han, and the effect on the fig is pretty good actually, and I think it is more faithful to the source material than dedicated figs, which would be ghostly opaque. But the fact it does not serve for Yoda is a major drawback. On another themes, I imagine it been used for a frozen Captain America, for instance. Well, I guess this force ghost cannot catch a lightsaber!
  12. That's a great wave! I like all the three small sets, and I wasn't expecting a Quetzalcoatlus. He's the stand out of the wave for me! But I have a theory on why there are two sets with the T.Rex: The $80 set would feature a Carnotaurus before the pandemic (and only the +4 set would have a T.Rex, because every JW wave needs a T.Rex set), but since the delay happened and they made Toro in the Camp Cretaceous wave, now they replaced the Carno (which would be accurate to the scene) by another T.Rex because two T.Rexes sell better than two Carnos.
  13. Disclaimer: There are some spoilers from The Book of Boba Fett Episode 5. Hello There! Episode 5 of BOBF brought back a BD Droid, as well as some other beloved droids. So I decided to make my MOC of it, and I come up with a very small one, using only 4 pieces! Here it is, next to an unrelated survivor of Order 66: Next to other types of droids: I hope you enjoy it! Thanks!
  14. There is another Book of Boba Fett set, with 411 pieces for $70. The bad price per piece ratio makes the Rancor Pit a good candidate.
  15. Ok, my predictions: 75303: $529.99: Another Death Star. The price makes me think it is more likely than an Endor set. 75323: $159.99: Hoth Echo Base. Luke fig from the Microfighter set is reused. Comes with an snowspeeder. 75325: $59.99: 411p. The BOBF one. A Rancor Pit extension to the Palace. Comes with another Boba, another guard, the keeper and Black K. 75332: $29.99: 87p. 4+ Y-wing. Pilot and astromech droid. 75333: $29.99: Sarlacc escape: a bigger Sarlacc pit build. Comes with Boba Fett (OG armor with sand marks), Jawa and a Tusken raider (new fig, darker clothes). 75334: $49.99: Republic Tank, with Commander Cody, two 212th troopers and an airborne trooper (let me dream!). 75335: $99.99: 1062p. AT-TE. The only Episode II anniversary set. Anakin, Obi-wan, Padmé, clone sergeant and clone trooper. 75336: $99.99: The imperial shuttle from The Bad Batch. Finally an Omega fig. 75337: $139.99: A downsized Millennium Falcon, with the new cockpit pieces. The draw: Lando and Nien Numb. 75338: $69.99: U-wing, for Andor show. 75242: $39.99: Vader's TIE Advanced. Vader, a stormtrooper and the guy he chokes in ANH. 75243: $59.99: The Inquisitor ship from Kenobi. show
  16. 1. Electro (great design, I hope there are eletricity prints all over the minifig) 2. Green Goblin 3. Lizard (would be #2 if he had a lab coat) 4. Doc Ock 5. Sandman (I think he could just be just a Molten Man build and save a minifig slot)
  17. Black Panther set looks the best for me, probably because BP never had leg printing, so I wasn't expecting it. And a face with hair piece is a great addition (and claws"). Wolverine looks dissapointing without leg printing. They could have chosen the classic design and give him a blue hip piece, at least, if leg printing was not possible. Ninjago blades are cool. Iron Man one is a mix bag. The mech and fig are cool. Nice to see more gold, but it is not a comic fig, and neither the Mk 42. Lego should have made the Mk 42 properly or a comic design, not an invented mash up.
  18. Exactly. And there is still room for novelty if they give Fennec a hairpiece. The gamorrean guards count as new minifigs (they have a different look in the trailer). One of this bounty hunters may actually be the Ithorean from the trailer. Add the rumoured rancor and maybe a Bomar monk (does it count as a minifig?) to this and we have a good lineup.
  19. Yeah, I think Shazam, Black Adam and Flash have the potential for more than one set each, since they have a plethora of heroes. It is hard to call them solo movies!
  20. Good observation, it would be great! True. I hope they invest the prints in the minifigs, though.
  21. After a bit of thinking and analyses of the accessory packs, I have a theory. These accessory packs usually have the following features: -No new molds -Around 3 new prints, consisting of 1 or 2 new figs; -Repeats from sets currently on shelves; -They works as an extension to sets from the recent waves; ... which makes me believe Bad Batch Crosshairs is a very likely candidate for these packs. Only one new print (the helmet), reusing the other ones torsos, and the pack would be an extension to the Havoc Marauder set. Crosshairs, Hunter repeat and two more figs from Battle of Anaxes, perhaps, and a build for his sniper riffle.
  22. Which makes me think the $70 set Boba set might actually be:
  23. Regarding the comic Iron Man in the mech set, I would like to see the Modular Armor, which was also used in Marvel vs Capcom 2. It would stand out from other figs, with a golden torso and red legs.
  24. The batmobile definitely feels like a Speed Champions batmobile to me, in the new 8 stud wide trend of LEGO. I wonder if it uses the same base piece. And the bikes, the three bikes share a chassis piece, is that a new piece for this wave? I guess these small, not oversized motorcycles might become more common now.
  25. May be a typo or wrong info, because two sets in the same with the same exact piece count is a bit weird. But a bigfig could also explain it. My predictions for the Thor sets are: -$20: 90s Thor (yellow boots) with Star-Lord and maybe another Guardian (Drax or Nebula). Build are the two goats and a chariot. -$50: Thor (final battle suit), Jane Thor, Valkyrie and Gorr. No idea on the builds. But them we got Korg and Miek left, and their headpieces already exist. So I think the accessory pack might be Endgame Korg and Miek with two outriders.
