  1. +1 for Into the Blue, cheers for helping me getting my Olympic minifigure collection started!
  2. Okay, here's my Top Three, in no particular order: The reason I love these three so much more than the other 112 (well, strictly 121) is because they're so unique and I never expected to these figures in Lego.
  3. Here you go, direct from the London Lego store's website: Royal Guard PAB Model Instruction It's a great set, I really love it.
  4. Out in the quarters on penalties once more. Expected, but it still stings. Sod this, bring on Wimbledon and the Olympics!!
  5. Can't believe I missed this, I love that set and am in the UK! However, if all doesn't work out, feel free to contact me. :)
  6. Had a quick update here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=52683&st=105&p=1296186entry1296186 Now only in need of a Space Villain to complete my series 3.
  7. I picked up both of these sets today. :)

LOOKING FOR: Series 8 Conquistador American Football Player Fairy Santa DJ Cheerleader Thanks for taking time to read this and feel free to contact me via PM.
  9. Brilliant representation and detailing. I remember running around the one on (or near, to be more accurate) the Thames on a school trip a few years back, although I clearly wasn't paying much attention as I didn't realise it was also a replica!! Well done to you both on a great MOC.
  10. Great review of a great set, and absolutely stunning photos!! This is actually a pretty special set for me, as I got it in the Lego Brand store in Rockefeller Centre on a trip to New York, which means I can point out exactly where I got it on the model (something which very few people can say about Lego models)! Well done on a brilliant review.
  11. Glad you like it, it's a great addition to anyone's collection. Just noticed my sloppy spelling in the review - I can only apologise and have cleared it up.
  12. Damn - if only I had a few things to change, cos there's a few minifigures I fancy!! Ah well, can't be helped.
  13. Absolutely amazed. Genuinely thought that the first image was for reference, before realising it was your model!! I agree with Bob in saying that you should contact the New York press to get it some well-deserved publicity and acclaim. I was there this time two months ago. Astonishing place, and this model truly does it justice. Seriously mate, well done, this is one of the best models I've seen (as are all your models).
  14. That's a shame, but at least you got the magnet - I've yet to take mine out of it's packaging!!
  15. This was tough, but I've tried not to overthink it and go with my immediate favourites. Well done to all, the standard has been so high and this is definitely the greatest contest I've seen in my short time on here. 3. - 1 vote 4. - 1 vote 23. - 1 vote 29. - 1 vote 45. - 3 votes
  16. Really love this. You know, I saw Hamlet there and didn't even notice that it was orange underneath the mesh!! And the fact that you've added the auditorium interior is the icing on the cake. Well done on a brilliant model and good luck with the contest.
  17. Great representation of one of my favourite buildings, fits in very well with the line, well done mate.
  18. This happened so quickly I never got around to supporting it!! I will send an email Lego's way to let them know though. If this doesn't happen, I'll be extremely gutted as it such a brilliant set and idea. In fact, I want it. I want it now!! Congratulations on getting this far and good luck for the future. And now to go and watch the film in your honour.
  19. Sorry, I don't know what to tell you, but I think you'll probably get more money if you sell sets seperately (and if you choose to do so, I'd like first refusal for the Green Grocer!! So gutted I missed that set, and interested to see how much you'd be willing to let it go for).
  20. Really great detailing with the interior, although I'm a little bitter about not owning the CC myself, only a little. But where's Gunther?!!?
  21. Why isn't there more (free) love for the Hippie?!!? He's amazing, and something I never thought we'd see in Lego form. Make love not war.
  22. I own two Archtecture sets (White House and Rockefeller Centre) and it's safe to say I won't be making this my third. I find it too clunky and not very accurate. However, this is a truly superb review, and I love that it is 'on location', although I am extremely envious of you living so near Sydney.
  23. Name: New York Exclusive Tag and Figure Keychain Set Number: 853309 Theme: Gear Year: 2011 Pieces: 1 Price: $5.49 (USD) Helpful links: Bricklink Availability: Exclusive to Lego brand store at Rockefeller Center, New York City. Basically, I picked this up in the Lego Store at Rockefeller Center on a trip to New York in mid-February 2012, and as there wasn’t a review of this exclusive keychain and the fact that keychain reviews are a rare breed, I’d write up a little review. To be perfectly honest, this hardly constitutes a review, but I thought you guys might like to see a few pictures of this little guy. Firstly, here's a few photos of the store where you can find this keychain: And here it is; the exclusive (and seemingly elusive) keychain. And a close up of the New York lover himself, from the front and behind. As you can see, the New York lover’s hat can move around. According to sister product, the exclusive Lego brand store at Rockefeller Centre magnet (which costs the same amount), his hat is meant to be at an angle. I rather like the fact that the Heart on his t-shirt has been swapped for a Brick, and you can see the comparison here: Overall opinion: I’m not going to give this a score, as it is not strictly an official set, but I’ll write a few ramblings. I’d say this is a reasonable price for a keychain. I’ll never actually use it on my keys, but it’s a nice memento of a fantastic trip and a chance to feed by Lego addiction on another continent. I’m sure many visitors to the Lego store end up walking away with one of these. Also, I’m pretty sure that if you try pretty hard, you’ll be able to remove the keychain and have this New York lover (or should that be bricker?) strolling through your Lego city. Also, a quick browse on Brickset shows that very similar keychains are available at the Berlin and Canadian stores. Anyway, hope you enjoyed this very brief review and that I’ve posted it in the right place!! And finally, it looks like our man in New York has found his dream woman!
