  1. Olinn was looking around when he saw sparky, his cat, run off to the north. He left his supplies at the camp site and chased his cat... After a few minutes. Olinn is no longer in sight. Hoke gets up and walks around. "Well what do we do now?" Party please elect a new party leader. After electing a new party leader: Party Leader, please divide the loot: 2 x Potion - Restores 10 health to the target. 1 x Fang Dagger - WP: 6, suitable for mages and rogues 1 x Venom - Use on a weapon to make it cause a poisoned-effect on any enemy it hits for the duration of one battle. A poisoned enemy loses 1 health each turn. 1 x Smoke Bomb - Allows the party to escape the battle. 1 x Bedroll - Allows the hero to rest and regain health and ether in a safe place. 1 x Canteen Passport (2 trips) - Canteen Passport - allows up to 3 passes into or out of the city. The price without the passport is 20 coins/person.
  2. QM Note: I don't even know how Mibbiwocket got banned, but it looks like we will need a new hero from heroica hall. Would the party want to wait for me to get a new hero from Heroica hall before continuing the battle, or do you want to continue the battle while you wait for a new hero?
  3. Where will you set it up? You'll most likely want to make it somewhere where you can expect it coming to prepare to strike as many hits on it as you can. Your party should probably make a strategy of what you will do during the battle too, but that is up to you.

  8. I have some Ideas for some effects: Weaken - reduced damage dealt by half Cripple - makes all damage received doubled Unlucky - makes lucky rolls regular rolls and regular rolls choose the worse result

Johon attacks the dragon from the back row, then if I am in danger of being KO'd I'll drink a potion, otherwise I attack the dragon twice. @Bioniclover My name is Johon, not John!
  11. I hear you out, I wasn't expecting you to make another rule about it, I just added it to give a twist to the battle. I have one more battle really revolved around a movement variable, but I don't want to give too much away about the quest. The party could fight traditionally, but fighting from the rock gives more advantages to melee fighters.

  13. The party hears more barks and howls in the distance. Gradually the noise gets louder. The party still has to fight all of the enemies, but it could be in 1 or 2 battles. I'm willing to give Olinn 2 levels of experience if he makes it through the battle(s). But the party may want to save the trap for the other group of wolves.

  15. Does anyone think the variables I'm adding to my battles in quest 25 make the battle more interesting? I have more variables for future battles in the quest, so I hope you like them. This is concerning quest 26: I think the battles really not that hard, just have the deadly venom on the weapon and then one person attacks that's lucky, it shouldn't be that bad actually.
  16. Yeah I understand that, I was just saying that this was what Sandy said, to show I'm not trying to be a make-up-the-rules or this-is-what-I-think kind of guy. Oh, and the elemental damage does multiply each time you add another gem with a common effective power. So a Sapphire and opal would do 4x damage against vermin.
  17. We talked about this quite a lot of pages back. So basically, if you have a ruby and aquamarine gem in the same weapon, the ruby will displace the water's ability to even do ANY damage towards fiery and rock monsters. No matter how many gem you stack up, any gem that doesn't effect a certain enemy cannot be changed by adding other gems that counteract that. For reference:

  19. Qm Note: I'm trying to make this an interesting battle. The Mechanics are partly the same, but a little different. If you are fighting from the rock, your front/back row is chosen by where the enemy is, not you. For instance, if Hoke decides to go off of the rock and lure them away from the rock in his turn, all attacks towards that enemy from the rock will be a back row attack, This though will draw the Direwolve back to the rock. Hope I didn't make this more complicated than it needs to be, I just wanted to make it more fun and more open-minded to a new player as the PL. The party becomes happy and believe they are doing well until the other Direwolve strikes. It sinks it's fangs into Erdathcath, and transfers her health to itself. (6 damage recieved, -6 damage dealt) Sylph and Tomas miss (pretty much) and Olinn is knocked backward as the Direwolve jumped up at him and scratched him across the chest. Sparky Hisses loudly which seems to somehow scare the Direwolve a step back. The battle continues!   22. Are you fighting from the rock? If you are fighting near the rock, there is no disadvantage of fighting on the rock.

  25. "I don't mean to sound rude, but could you tell us more about yourself?" Johon examines the bard to decide if it is a he or she. "Oh! I never had time to show you the map." Johon redraws the map in his palm and adds where they met different things. "I believe we should go left and check out that part of the quarry." regardless of where they go, Johon checks for traps, anything that could be of any use, or anything that seems strange.
