Johon sighs, feeling like nothing had changed. He waited for Romulus to finish his trade with Tesni.
-
I don't believe in good and bad luck, if that's what you mean.
-
Oh yeah?, well I only profited once in 30 rounds. So bleh. I still don't get how that is plausible. Oh well. I'm filthy rich anyways.
-
Johon sits next to Sylph. After a long pause, he speaks. "Been a lot to go through. Feels kinda good to be back..." Johon looks through the windows of the hall. "This isn't the end of him. You know that as well as I do. But it won't be for a long time, and by then, we'll be ready."
-
Oops... Must've read 300 as 200. I'll go fix it now. Thanks for pointing that out!

Johon walked back into the hall. It was funny, it seemed that so much had happened in the few days he was gone... He lays down his new potions, a whole 32 of them... He then puts them back, and walks over to sit over by Tensi and Docken, although the last time, even as long ago as it was, neither of them really seemed that fond of him. "Hello Docken, Tensi. Anything new or exciting going on around the hall lately?"

Johon walks into the marketplace after returning from his recent quest. He looks through the wares, and decides what to buy. Sticky Gloves X1: 500 G Mead X6: 90 G Smelling Salts X12: 300 G Nostrum X12: 420 G Total: 500+90+300+420=1310 2882-1310=1576

Heroica RPG - Quest #48: Death's Homecoming
Bricksandparts replied to Endgame's topic in The Heroica Archive
"He is telepathically speaking to all of us, it seems. Although it seems he is more remorseful in his message to me. I don't know though, and I still wonder if and when we will see him again." -
Endgame, I still wonder how we could have possibly completed the quest in a mere 7 battles... Anyways, I'd love to see future Regret quests, this time probably a humanoid though. He'd be kind of like the terminator or something, and he is targeting vital points between different nations to try and start a massive war. I also can't get over the fact that I only scored 1 rampage in the final battle... I mean theoretically I should have got 5 rampages , and that isn't considering I had Lucky part of the time. Oh well. Anyways, it was a great quest and I am looking forward to your future quests, hope you make more Regret quests!

Johon sighs in relief after the battle is finally over. after the party reads Regret's book, he turns to the pressing matters. "It is time to end this. Farewell, Regret." Johon can't help but realize that it isn't over. They had won the battle, but the war had only begun. -

OoC: 16 rounds and no shield?! And some even with lucky effect?! What is this madness?! "Sylph, my luck is down this battle... Sure wish I had picked up more nostrums back at Heroica. Press on, we will win this!" -

OoC: I understand that, but it looks like you only rolled once for people that didn't already have the lucky effect. -

"No, Rhodus, you are wrong. I don't know what it is, but the fragments of memory that I have... You are wrong. My parents aren't what you say they are. They weren't monsters. I know that." -

"Not really. But 2 things about that. number 1, that's an invalid argument, a logical fallacy, that has absolutely nothing to do with the argument, and 2, I don't need to know what they looked like or what kind of people they were. They stood up for what was right and protected those that they could. They sacrificed themselves, Rhodus. That's good enough of a cause for me." -

"Die? Really now... It's not like they already saw you die or anything.. right? Not like they already know the inevitable outcome of this fate for you all over." -

OoC: This is when a nostrum could be pretty darn helpful. I think you cheated Endgame... You killed my affects twice! -
His username IS Endgame...

I'm saying these boss-fights are like they are in many video games. There's often more than 1 boss fight.
-
A lot.
-
I can't help but think about Sword of the Zephyr, A quite powerful sword in Thaumcraft 3, a minecraft mod. On another note, I can't wait for this upcoming final battle, Endgame. It's been a while since we had a good old video game boss battle.
-
No, I mean the 64.
-
Not necessarily about the bit, but something in minecraft. Probably the most common place it is noticed in-game.
-
Yay, we got to quest 64! Anyone get the reference?
