The thing is that the fields are a sort of boring place to be, it seems. If you are going to be a raider and have disadvantages to try and get more resources, I think that is a fair deal. The fields don't really give any artifacts anyways, which are getting more and more powerful in quests. As I said, the fields are more of a resource quest than an RP quest and was made to be that way.

Hmm, I just realized... Fighting in the fields for a raider isn't very effective. Shouldn't at least half of the enemies drop gold so that raiders can get some gain from the fields? After all, the fields is more of a resource quest than an RP quest.

If none of us get picked for 81, then I'm guessing that is what will happen. Also, do groups sign up for the fields?

"Care to arm wrestle?" Johon asks Romulus, grinning.

"Hmm, I've been thinking..." Johon says, speaking to Romulus and Karie. "Would either of you happen to know someone that could help me make a weapon? Perhaps an inventor of some sort?" Johon notices an announcement about the replacement hero for quest 81. "Hmm... I forgot about that." Johon says to no one in particular. Now facing Romulus, he continues. "If I am picked for this quest go on without me, either on the fields or 91. However, I am hoping to become the replacement for 81. It's those Proggs again, but this time they come in peace... Apparently. Anyways, I am hoping to be able to help out. Considering the fact that one of the heroes is either dead, missing, or forfeiting, I'm quite certain they will need help, most likely from someone who's dealt with this kind of thing before."

Johon Perks up at the offer, even though it was not intended towards him. "Hey, I'd be willing to go there. I've never been there before and was looking forward to going there at some point. Since I'm not going on any of the 3 quests, I'd like to go with you." Johon says, signing up for the Fields of Glory.

Johon, waiting for Romulus to make up his mind, notices Karie sitting nearby. "What's up? Anything going on?" Johon asks.

Johon listens for the picked heroes' names. As the list went on without Althior, Romulus, or him being picked, Johon scowls and looks at the ground. He slashes his name across the sign-ups for quest 91, hoping that he would at least be able to get on that quest. He then walks towards the door and is about to leave when he has an idea. He turns around and addresses Romulus. "Would you wish to practice in fighting? It will get our minds off of this."

Johon, leaning back on a wall while talking with Romulus, notices a saddened Althior sitting down at a table nearby. "Didn't get on the quest either?" Althior nods. "Yeah... I've been here for quite the while now as well. Last quest was, what was it, 79 I think? I'm hoping to get picked for this last one." Johon, addressing both Althior and Romulus, directs the conversation to other matters. "So, in other fields of interest, what is going on which each of you?"

"I understand that, but I will only provide death if it is the only option, which I find very rarely. There is almost always another way. I don't care how difficult, how dangerous, but if there's a way, I'm doing it."

"I don't, and will not. Very few times will I kill. I do not believe that death of every enemy of ours will bring peace. Yes, some deaths are needed, but the more we kill, the more we become like them. I will subdue my opponents, and have been doing it this way wince I started my career here. Basically, I'm Batman! "

"I will fight, I will not kill. I've killed very few in my time. I hope that my party will follow my example if it comes to that."

"Hmmm, that does seem like a possibility, although I hope it does not come to that."

"Yes, you would make an excellent companion as well. I am not sure exactly the situation, but it seems dire. Three groups being sent to the same area, That's only happened once before, right?"

Editted "Sorry, I didn't mean that as an insult. I just wondered if you'd want to practice that is all?" Johon sighed as the list was read off. "Don't worry. I'm sure we'll be picked for 90... While we wait, do you want to practice some fighting?"

"I have signed up for 88 and 90. I've also signed up for the replacement hero, but I'm hoping to get on one of the aforementioned quests. Hopefully we can get on 90 together. I could teach you the ropes probably."

"Perhaps we have, but I do not remember it if we did. So are you signed up for any quests?"

OoC: oops yeah. Fixed.

Johon makes sure he is signed up for quest 88 and 90, hoping to get on at least one of the two. He then walks over to Baradock, deciding to start conversation. "You signed up for any of the quests?" Johon asks, then shaking hands with Baradock. "Name's Johon. What's yours?"

OoC: Ohh, didn't realize you guys weren't in the hall Noticing Rone, Johon decides to start conversation. "Greetings." Johon says, nodding to Rone. "I believe we have only briefly met." Johon extends his hand to shake. "Name's Johon."

Johon notices Arthur and decides to chat with him. "Hey, old friend. Been a while hasn't' it?" Johon says, walking up. He turns to Dyric. "Greetings Rone, I believe we have only briefly met correct?"

"Actually I have..." Johon mutters. "I have some unfinished business with those creeps if they are picking off our heroes..."

"Nah, thought I found her, but it was someone else." Johon takes the mug gingerly and drinks plentifully. He hadn't realized how thirsty he had gotten. "Thank you." Johon says, finishing the glass. "So are you signed up for any of the quests?"

Wow... That actually worked.
