  1. I'm planning on hosting my next quest similar to this. It will be a large map, although only key locations across it. I gave a preview of the plot of my upcoming quest in 95. The quest has parts planned, but many of the outcomes will be based on the decisions of how the party plans to accomplish their goals. Still working out a lot of the characters, plot, and locations.
  2. QM Note: The party will have an opportunity to play the dice game again when they return from Themor. I'm assuming the party will have some more gold then and more chances at winning the die. Romulus: * 6 2 * 6 6 3 * 6 3 * 5 4 1 * 3 * 5 6 6 4 3 * 1 * 5 2 * 2 * 2 -100 gold
  3. Also, Flipz training will be next to one of the, if not the, shortest posts in the training room.
  4. I think it's safe to say that this will be the longest single roleplaying event anyone has ever done in this game?
  5. Johon nods, takes the sword, sheathing it. Considering the new offer, Johon accepts the deal. "Nice doing business with you." Johon says, trading the items and gold.
  6. Umm, Kind of in a way, but palathadric actually messaged me about the weapon, considering I have quite a lot of money and a fairly crappy weapon as it is.
  7. Johon sees the notice, and approaches the monk as he posts it. "600 gold sound good?" Johon says, pulling out his coin purse.
  8. Oh, I didn't even realize I hadn't put a stock on the loaded die. Meant to put that in originally. Fixed!
  9. If I need to, I'll remove the loaded die and/or the quiver. I share the view of Flipz about the quiver, but speaking of the die, look at bravado boots. Currently, the most useful artifacts tend to be accessories or body armor, yet the bravado boots give a 1/6 chance of lucky effect.
  10. You might be right. If it becomes an issue, I'll see if I can make it a dulled down version, giving a half chance to be lucky each round or something similar.
  11. per wager. I love how the first loaded die was in one of the shortest quests, and not even from a battle.
  12. I didn't actually find out the statistical price of the loaded die and am too lazy to figure it out. Anyone wanna calculate it? All I know is that it's pretty high
  13. Does the loaded die deal sound fair? I wanted it to be expensive and creative
  14. QM Note: Moving this on. The party heads to the marketplace, viewing the wares of merchants while they wait to leave for the Pharmacy. Nasir's Groceries: Luosh Bread (+1 maximum HP for 1 battle.), 6 gold Luosh Honeyloaf (+1 maximum HP for 2 battles.), 14 gold Luosh Drumstick (+3 maximum HP for 1 battle.), 14 gold Trial Brew (Halves the drinkers max HP, max ether, and max SP for the duration of one battle. These effects are irremediable. Surviving a battle without getting knocked out in this state nets you double EXP. Being revived after being knocked-out removes these effects.), 70 gold Mead (Causes the encouraged-effect, doubling the target's attack power for the duration of one battle.), 15 gold Ambrosia (Causes the reinforced-effect, double the target's defense for the duration of one battle.), 70 gold Mulled Wine (Causes the inspired-effect, doubling the target's current and maximum health for the duration of one battle.), 60 gold Robert the Potions-master: Phoenix Essence (Revives a fallen ally with full health during a battle.), 45 gold Weak Potion (Restores 5 health to the target.), 2 gold or 15 gold for 10 Potion (Restores 10 health to the target.), 5 gold Grand Potion (Restores 25 health to the target.), 10 gold Greater Potion (Restores 50 health to the target.), 20 gold Weak Tonic (Restores 3 ether to the target.), 8 gold or 60 gold for 10 Tonic (Restores 5 ether to the target.), 15 gold Grand Tonic (Restores 15 ether to the target.), 30 gold Greater Tonic (Restores 30 ether to the target.), 60 gold Weak Regeneration Potion (Has a 1/3 chance to restore 1 health after each round to the target, does not stack with more weak, normal, grand, or greater regeneration potions.), 15 gold Regeneration Potion (Has a 2/3 chance to restore 1 health after each round to the target, does not stack with more weak, normal, grand, or greater regeneration potions.), 30 gold Grand Regeneration Potion (Has a 2/3 chance to restore 1 health twice each round to the target, does not stack with more weak, normal, grand, or greater regeneration potions.), 60 gold Absturg's Random Wares: Venom (Use on a weapon to make it cause the poisoned by 1-effect on any enemy it hits for the duration of one battle, making the poisoned enemy lose 1 health each turn. Several venoms can be used to increase the effect.), 3 gold *5 stock* Smoke Bomb (Allows the party to escape the battle.), 3 gold *3 stock* Water Bomb (Causes 5 points of water-elemental damage to all enemies.), 7 gold, *1 stock* Magnifying Glass (Allows the user to see trap triggers.), 12 gold, *2 stock* Eyepatch (1/2 chance to prevent blinded-effect.), 13 gold, *1 stock* Trendy Handbag (Protects from whichever negative effect was last inflicted in battle to someone else.), 100 gold, *1 stock* Goggles (Protects from blind-effect.), 20 gold, *3 stock* Leather Cap (SP:1.), 3 gold, *8 stock* Trickster's Mask of the Gender-Swap (suitable for anyone, swaps the wearer's gender when worn, accessory), 40 gold, *1 stock* Quickdraw Quiver (suitable for rangers, permanent hastened effect, backwear), 250 gold, *1 stock* Loaded Die - (suitable for anyone, permanent lucky-effect to the owner, accessory), must win "Are you lucky enough?" *1 stock* Are you lucky enough? *10 gold to play. *The hero must pass 4 rounds to win. *If the hero rolls a 1,2, or 3, they lose the game. *If the hero rolls a 4 or 5, they get to roll again without proceeding further. *If the hero rolls 4 or 5 twice, they lose, but get 5 gold back.
  15. Hence why I tried my best to shorten artifact descriptions.

  17. You can travel back through locations to get to another location as long as you defeated the enemies there already, right? For example, visiting all easy locations before medium or hard. Oh...
  18. How big was the party in this instance? Also, with 6 people, possibly encouraged, an undead army, and some already fairly powerful heroes, we might be able to halve or even quarter the time it takes, especially if we knock out easier, faster enemies to get more levels first. If you can trade GP (Which I believe you can), and I don't get to 250, I may offer to buy some of the points off of other party members...
  19. Of course in me trying to make them shorter I make them more confusing... Can you read the descriptions of the artifacts? If so I'll just reformat the order if that's all you need. Whatever, I might be able to use it in the future. It was only 50G anyways.
  20. So about how long do you think it would take to do 22 battles with the group we have? Also I changed to Berserker for the fields, considering it will be much more effective. I don't know, It seems that berserker would be more effective to me. More powerful hits, less damage taken, just no gold (which I can't get anyways). Also, if I get shield, We will all be encouraged, quickening the battle considerably.
  21. OoC: Super lazy post. Didn't feel like RPing or making a picture. Stats are changed in the hero stats page. Johon trains in berzerk(ery?) and soon has learned the skills needed to fight with shields and such. Yeah!
  22. Getting 22 battles in would be ideal (enough for the medal), although I don't know if we will get even close to that amount. Since you've had experience in the fields, about how long would that take in real time?
  23. I think you would be the best as party leader. I mean you're the strategist, not so much a roleplayer.. I'm not the greatest strategist anyways, and don't even necessarily feel like being PL in general. Also, everyone in this group, please state about how long you plan on staying in the fields.
  24. 300g Quiver of poisoning 150g Pseudo's hood 80g Counterstrike gloves 100g 2 Water canteen 80g sterile gloves 50g Barbaian's boots 50g Shield 100g 20 potion(s) 200g 20 grand potion(s) 3111g-(300+150+80+100+80+50+50+100+200)=2001g
  25. Sounds good to me! Gather the group in the hall topic and I'll sign up for the group.
