The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
spiderfan2000 replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I feel that the size and quality of the Batwing more than makes up for the minifigure selection. The Ultimate Batmobile is better than I expected in the separated forms, and I've actually displayed it that way more than I have when fully combined. That's...quite interesting, actually. The most logical choice for a minifigure polybag would be Samurai and Classic Cyborg with Gleek included as an accessory. That would complete the Justice League Anniversary Party lineup and would be more plausible than making a Party expansion set to include them in. -

I hope there will at least be more minifigure polybags (though a 4th wave of sets would be far more preferable to me) I wonder if you can combine the Ultimate Batmobile polybag sets if you buy three of them? -
Though the idea of potentially having a Hogwarts Castle D2C and a Great Hall be separate sets seems rather odd, if it means getting a bigger and better Great Hall and the rest of the castle getting more fleshed out, I'm all for it. I'm also hoping that the Aragog is better than the 2010 version.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

I went to my local Toys R Us today looking for the CMF 2 series, but they did not have them yet. They did have the Egghead Mech and the Bat-Space Shuttle sets, though there was no sign of the other Wave 3 sets. I bought the last Egghead Mech left on the shelf and I must say, it is a very fun set that has a lot of features for the price. Plus Condiment King. of course. -

I finally got the Batwing and the Ultimate Batmobile for Christmas, and wow! They are even more impressive than I was expecting, and are probably two of my favorite sets yet! -
I'd like to see that too, because it would seem a little weird to me if TLNM ends up with 2 $300 D2C sets and TLBM has a single $270 D2C set, considering that TLNM wasn't nearly as successful as TLBM, as far as I can tell.

I can't wait to see the Ninjago City Docks set. I'm personally hoping it includes the Fuchsia Ninja.

If there is a DVD exclusive figure, I definitely hope it would be Atom. Doctor Fate would require a new helmet mold, so that probably rules him out. -

A bit disappointed that Phosphorus doesn't glow in the dark, but otherwise, he and the other minifigures look great! The gear printing on the back of Clock King's head is a creative way of getting around the indented eyes on the headpiece. The sets look pretty good from the reviews. The Egghead Mech set is definitely starting to seem more like a highlight of the wave to me. -
Wow! I just got back from seeing the movie and I thought it was great! It was intense and constantly left me at the edge of my seat. Some more information about Snoke would have been nice, but the massive subversion of the Return of the Jedi plot formula was executed extremely well otherwise and avoided going down the predictable route. The humor generally wasn't overwhelming and balanced the intensity of the movie well, in my opinion. Definitely my favorite of the Post-Disney Star Wars movies, and might make my top 3 Star Wars movies overall.

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation

I wish this wave were real! I'm still hoping that they release different versions of Shazam, Atom, Vixen and Bizarro outside of the SDCC exclusives. Other characters I could see potentially being made in the future include: Ares (comic version, as a minifigure this time), Black Adam (If a different version of Shazam is made), bigfig Doomsday (Doomsday was already released as a Mighty Micros minifigure, which gives me hope), Zatanna (Surprised we haven't gotten one yet) bigfig Atrocitus with Dex-Star (Would rather have this over another Sinestro in a Green Lantern set), Doctor Fate (I WANT), Enchantress (We got comic versions of most of the other Suicide Squad characters, so...), Black Lightning (comic version, though I wouldn't be surprised if a CW show version is released as a SDCC exclusive), Metallo (One of the more prominent Superman villains that LEGO hasn't done), Mr. Mxyzptlk (Same reasoning as Metallo) Toyman (Could include some interesting toy builds), Circe (Some more Wonder Woman villains would be nice), and Giganta (Could be brick built like Giant-Man) -

There's also Gleek, Classic Cyborg, Pilot Disguise Joker, Limo Driver Alfred, Bat-Lady, Lady-Bat, Police Training Barbara Gordon, most of the villains in Arkham jumpsuits, (almost all of which can be created with multiples of the Arkham jumpsuit torso pieces), most of the Friends Are Family characters, a considerable number of Batsuits, Agent Smith, generic Gremlins, the Daleks, King Kong, the Kraken, and the Eye of Sauron. I might be missing a few, but that's at least most of them. -

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

Yes, LEGO really needs to make a Batman Beyond! When I heard the rumors of a D2C set before the Joker Manor set was officially revealed, I was hoping that Batman Beyond would be included in that, but nope I'm hoping he's released as part of a polybag or Bricktober pack (maybe even with Gotham by Gaslight Batman) -

Okay, that's both hilarious and frustrating. That's what I'm thinking. It would make sense for LEGO to include Gleek in a set so that people who buy the CMF 2 series will want to buy the set just for Gleek. Otherwise it would make no sense that Gleek wasn't included with one of the Wonder Twins if there are not any more sets. At least the new pictures of the CMF 2 minifigures look great. I still can't tell if Phosphorus is supposed to be glow-in-the-dark or not, though. -

I personally feel that there's enough loose ends left to justify a fourth wave. Not a large wave, but a wave with about three small-to-medium sized sets like the final wave of TLM. It will seriously bug me if the Justice League Party lineup isn't finished at least, considering it's now only two minifigures and a monkey away from being completed. -

More Green Lantern sets would be great! If LEGO doesn't use those new parts for Lanterns, that would be a huge missed opportunity. -

Hmm, the movie still on the back of the Justice League Anniversary Party is cropped so that everyone to the the left of Flash/El Dorado/Hawkgirl and everyone to the right of Martian Manhunter can't be seen. Including Samurai and Classic Cyborg. That might not mean anything, but it still makes me feel a bit uneasy. At least Gleek seems to be present, though that might not mean anything either. -

I actually would have been totally fine with snakeclowns being included in a set. Oh well... Double sided face printing for Canary and Zod is a nice surprise. Hopefully some of the other minifigures in the CMF series also have alternate face printing. -

A 4th wave? Hooray! If that's true, I hope the Justice League/Super Friends party lineup is completed. -
I haven't watched much of either of the Powerpuff Girls series, but it's nice to see that LEGO is willing to expand on some of the licenses they used in Dimensions. I also hope they make a couple sets for Adventure Time, with all the potential for sets and minifigures that the series has which Dimensions barely scratched the surface of.

Wow! This looks great! Hopefully they include a second light cycle.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

Huh, the Dune Buggy has more parts than I was expecting. $20 actually isn't too bad if it has 198 pieces. The Party set isn't too bad, considering the minifigure selection. The Harley Quinn truck probably could've used a $40-45 price tag instead of $50. The Egghead Mech and Space Shuttle both seem to have great piece counts for the price (considering some of the more costly parts included in the Space Shuttle). That's...very interesting actually. Those could be useful to have. -

I agree with this statement. The Dune Buggy and Party sets seem a bit small for those prices. The Party I could have seen being 25$ due to the selection of minifigures, but I was hoping for another 15$ set for the series so the Dune Buggy being $20 for that size and selection of minifigures is a bit disappointing. The Egghead Mech and Harley Quinn truck prices are about what I expected. Definitely glad the Bat-Space Shuttle isn't $100+, at least! I wonder what the piece counts for the sets are. I'll likely end up buying them all anyways, so...
