  1. Santa's hot rod is excellent, as is the snow. I don't think there are any trees at the North Pole, but that's a small enough quibble to ignore. Merry Christmas to you, too. Cheers! Beverly
  2. LEGO Friends released Heartlake Hospital 41318 in 2017. There may be a few ideas in it that you'd like to incorporate in your build. I went a little nuts and bought six sets during the Christmas sales to eventually build my own version. Best wishes with your hospital / family clinic! Cheers! Beverly
  3. Excellent dome and slanted roof on the other side. It's definitely worth looking at with a fine lens to see how you did it all. Cheers! Beverly
  4. Simple and elegant. Thank you for sharing. Beverly
  5. Hi All, It's been awhile since I started work on my Friends and Creator Winter diorama. Life has taken over, and work on the buildings has slowed to a limp. But, I did manage to cobble together a few brief scenes for a quick photo shoot. Hope you like them! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Beverly
  6. Wonderful! Love all the moving parts. Merry Christmas! Beverly
  7. Great looking warehouse with such a wide variety of pallet handling equipment. Cheers! Beverly
  8. LEGO is for having fun. Thanks for sharing. Cheers! Beverly
  9. Everyone's details are always so interesting. Demonic elf with an ax was the most unexpected in your diorama. Cheers! Beverly
  10. The gold and grey exterior is lovely and elegant. I might have added dark grey or dark tan accents to give it a little extra glow. Cheers! Beverly
  11. I'm a 61 female and came to LEGO only in the past three years. I initially gravitated toward the Friends line, and mainly just built sets straight out of the box. Until, that is, I saw a few impressive MODs, then I began building with multiples of a particular set. Now, I'm mixing product lines, such as Friends and Elves, and Friends and Creator, with a bit of Disney Princess tossed in for good measure. It's a wonderful challenge to mix various colour schemes and building styles. The best thing about LEGO is if I'm not satisfied with how a particular build is progressing, I take it apart and start again. Thankfully, I'm not entrenched in one product line or theme, and can find inspiration pretty much everywhere in this forum. Beverly
  12. Thank you for posting details of how the clock was built. Lovely scene! Beverly

  19. Really like how you built your fishing cormorants. Imaginative.
  20. When I don't feel like building, I do other things to keep my life in some sort of equilibrium. Bricks are great, but fresh air, physical activity and human contact are what fuels my creative spirit. Surprisingly, tidying up helps a lot too. Beverly
  21. I like it! Good action sequences with a variety of perspectives. Thanks for sharing your first work. Beverly
  22. Your photographic skills truly enhance your beautiful build. Love how you used real life as the background for the photos. Beverly
