  1. Around 12000 (yes , twelve thousand) 1x1 Plates of 3 different colors to keep my Mosaics up and running.
  2. I still fail to see what's the difference between WW2 and WW1. Yes, because the Sopwith Camel and the older Red Baron were for a fact , WWI airplanes.
  3. Hi, I was looking around on CUUSOO like I do everyday, and I was thinking that there maybe a point probably not to far off, where no projects at all reach the needed supporters and a few quarter reviews are left empty. It's obvious that if that happens LEGO will have to take measures to not let the CUUSOO program die. Obviously the most basic thing to do would be lowering the number of supporters. But what if... LEGO went and picked projects that even if not having the 10k supporters are considered valuable for the company to make and sell? How would you feel about such process (dont waste my time with comments like "id be happy if they choosed X, but not Y", thanks) and what would you think would be both the pros and cons of it? Cheers
  4. My 2 cents for the Rumoured List are as follow: Planet Sets - At first I thought these would be great, but with time I have lost my appetite for them. Maybe it's because I never got one in my hand to see and like in first hand. Moving on... The Old Republic Battle Pack - I don't need to see any pictures to see this one is a major win and a must buy more than 1. If the troops are as good as the guy on that SF that was released in June, and the Sith as good as the ones on the Fury, then it's a total win. Clone Troopers vs Droidekas Battle Pack - One Word : Droidekas!! If there's something that i'm really sad about my LSW collection is I don't have any of those. I wasn't into LEGO when that little set from EPI came out, and after that all sets with DD's where too expensive for me to get. Another "must buy a dozen" set. A-Wing including Admiral Ackbar, Han Solo and an A-Wing Pilot - I'm not a big fan of the A-Wing. But I don't have one, and considering this will probably bring a cheap Ackbar, I will get. AT-RT including Yoda, Clone Trooper and Assassin Droid - Unless the Yoda figure is something really extraordinary, I am confortable with passing this. Z-95 Headhunter including three Clone Troopers - The Z isn't that much of a ship. It's more like a preliminary X-Wing. If it comes with Pong Krell, it becomes a Must Buy. If not , it may be passable. The Rancor Pit (as revealed at Comic Con) - Not really interested. Offers 0 value as a stand-alone set, and I think that's a big mistake for LEGO. Cheers
  5. I keep the instruction books and send the boxes for recycling. Come on, I don't even have space for the LEGO itself...
  6. I am sorry but I cannot even imagine such scenario
  7. LEGO just can't be serious about this ... they just can't. Come on, they won't do realistic weapons and stuff because of the violence, they are rejecting a lot of projects on CUUSOO for example because of beeing non-appropriated for the children target audience, and then they go and do a game that we look at and instantly remember one of the most violence appealing games ever (yes LEGO Undercover is a rubbish GTA clone whether you like it or not ...)? Really? Glad it's coming for WII and NDS only. That's a good way of forcing me to pass it anyways, since I only play PC.
  8. LEGO HAS (I repeat "HAS") to do a Legend of Korra license. Come on, beeing a fan of ATLA I just watched 2 episodes of LoK and I already see a world of possibilities for LEGO sets. A Pro-Bending Arena would be top, not to mention all the Steampunk styled stuff. Of course LEGO could take the advantage to release some more sets from the Original Series. I would apreciate even if only to get the figures. On something totally unrelated, last night I remembered (and already saw suggested here) that League of Extraordinary Gentlemen would be awesome. Not going to happen sadly for a few reasons. One of them is no new stuff coming. Never understood why they didn't do a sequel. It was such an awesome movie.
  9. All 50% off. (78.5€ for everything) Cheers.
  10. Hello fellow Eurobricks Members, Last time you heard for me in this zone of the forum, I was presenting my first LEGO Mosaic Work of that girl I loved and still love today if ya wanna know... Despite the fact she loved the Mosaic, things didn't change between us and I keep suffering for her everyday, but that's a story for some other forum than not a LEGO one. Deal is, I've always been a great fan of Music in General. I use to say I love darkness but I hate silence. So I always try to keep Music around me. Then there's this one artist I've been holding too a lot since early 2010, not only because I identify with her for the person she is, but mostly because her lyrics and the messages she passes through her music are ridiculously matched to my ideas of life and some situations I have been through. And I am talking of American Singer Kelly Clarkson. So, a bit like I did in the first time I thought, why not merge this passion with the one for LEGO, and there we go. After a few hours with Pic to Brick, a few more in Bricklink and mostly a lot of hours applying plates, I came up with this. Some technical details: - 96 x 96 Studs Size; - ~9200 Pieces (all 1x1 Plates as usual); - 10 colors - Black, Dark Bluish Gray , Light Bluish Gray, Very Light Bluish Gray, White, Tan, Dark Tan, Medium Blue, Green e Reddish Brown; - 32 hours of work spawned through 3 and a half months; - Costs of around 420€; Some generic considerations: - I am always amazed at how the separate baseplates look like nothing and then whey they are put together the size of the thing becomes colossal; - Despite the fact this Mosaic got a bit better than the last one considering i widened the color palette from 5 to 10 colors, I am still not 100% satisfied with the final work. The other one was too dark, and this one has that big white zone I don't like much. But with my continously growing experience with working with Pictobrick those problems will be solved in future works. Final notes: Well, hope you all like it. I am doing some work of sharing this all around so I can get some feedback and praise to keep me motivated to continue with these works. I already have a new project in line that I hope to present by July or August. It's going to be bigger and hopefully better than the previous two. Stay cool and keep plating! Pocas
  11. I have 38 unopened sets, but only 8 are Star Wars. These numbers do not include some dozens of Polybags I also have. I do this for a mix of reasons: - Little time for LEGO; - The avaiable time is for other LEGO projects than not building sets; - I do not have space for them, and there's no way I am leaving them at the mercy of dust; Cheers
  12. [New] Black Plate 1 x 1 (x900) [New] Dark Bluish Gray Plate 1 x 1 (x1600) [New] Dark Tan Plate 1 x 1 (x1100) [New] Green Plate 1 x 1 (x700) [New] Light Bluish Gray Plate 1 x 1 (x1000) [New] Medium Blue Plate 1 x 1 (x350) [New] Tan Plate 1 x 1 (x50) Cheers
  13. Can you please post the references for the sets you're bringing for sale soon? It's much easier to find which ones they are that way. Thanks :) Nevermind. I just realized those are all Classic Space and thus I'm not interested. Cheers
  14. Hello Fellow Eurobricks Members, Somedays ago I was lucky to stumble upon a MISB 3801 Mindstorms Ultimate Acessories Set ( http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?S=3801-1 ). Since I am not into LEGO Robotics, and I don't have the big Mindstorms Set this one is supposed to go with, I am all willingly to make a buck off it so I can buy LEGO that appeals more to me. The set is MISB as I said before, but the box is a bit chuckled. Photos below. Price is 80€, but I'll consider all offers you want to make me. Since this is my first sale here on Eurobricks, i'll bless you with free shipping costs on this one. I will ship worldwide, and accept payments on Paypal or International Bank Transfer, whatever suits you the most. Please feel free to contact me via PM for any inquiries. Cheers Pocas
  15. At first sight this set falls in that category that I solemly hate - the category of "The set is terribly disapointing but you still can't go on without buying it". Think that sums up my feelings for now. Cheers
  16. It is always possible that just as LEGO has done with previous licensed themes like TS, IJ or POTC, they do a mix of sets from the Movie and from the general Avengers Universe. Although I find this a bit unlikely. You must remember that Comics aren't that much of a thing around the World as they are in the US. And if LEGO can make sets that will appeal to everyone (the ones on the movie everyone will see), I don't see them going for sets that only Comic Readers may be appealed too (I know the US is a big market, but still...). Just my 2 cents, Cheers
  17. WOW! I must say that i'm in joy with these news. I'm pretty sure it's sure (lol) this is coming, and I can't stop seeing myself holding minifigures of Iron Man and Captain America. Now, if you allow me to cool down your hopes a bit - I would be more expectant on the fact the License if it comes is going to be over the Movie coming out in 2012, and not exactly the whole Avengers Universe. Cheers
  18. It could be an AT-PT. Cheers
  19. Printed parts, OMG! This just made the set that whole much better. Cheers
  20. I'm kinda happy that such un-exciting promotion helped me not to ruin my finances any more. I already have the Swamp Speeder, JSF and Tantive. Cad Bane's Speeder and AT-AT are out of my interest range, and well the Dropship just wasn't low enough to be worth getting (my oppinion of course). To sum it up - gotta love when you can resist buying LEGO! It just doesn't happen every day. Cheers
  21. Seriously? If that's really what's coming, then I am going to bed much more happy for loosing this.
  22. 5 am. for me. How nice. Guess i'll just throw my expectations away. Cheers
  23. Hi Guys, I have been trying to get an answer on this on several places, and got nothing so far. Well, I don't think it is possible to get a sure one, for as unpredictable as this is, but still, here goes - At what time exactly should we expect the promo to start? Midnight of the 3rd??? If there's something I am totally NOT looking forward too, is to wake up in the morning and see it's all gone. Cheers
  24. Hi, Does anyone happen to know when will we be able to see images of the remaining Cars 2 sets? I think there's still 3 sets we haven't seen photos of so far. Cheers
  25. IMHO the only way for a Yoda's Hut to be interesting, was if it had a E3-standard starship lifeboat (the pod Yoda uses to reach Dagobah). This and a much bigger and detailed Hut than the one seen previously. EDIT: Well now I read Wookiepedia on the subject, I see that the Hut didn't exist when Yoda arrived, because it was him who built it. And he built it with many parts of the pod. But honestly who of the LEGO buyers will care? I honestly doubt anyone besides me knows or cares bout these kind of details. Yes, I know the X-Wing is the most Iconic ship of the saga (probably only beaten by the Falcon), but we've had enough of them, no? Cheers
