  1. Way cool. I have been pondering a skyhawk for a while. I really like your use of the green stretchers. I would suggest larger engines which rotate.
  2. I got this set last week on sale at Target. Fun build and great figures and just a great set for halloween fans like myself. It will be parked near the haunted house soon
  3. The recent pics posted take me back to 1980ish. I too had most of those sets and many missions were carried out. What a wonderful childhood. Although SW got me out of my dark ages and I have many more SW sets than any other theme those classic space sets spurred so much creation and creativity and adventures of youth.
  4. I searched high and low at a local target and target greatland yesterday. No ghost poly's.

  6. I had forgotten that tiny pic existed. The helicopter is exactly what I mentioned earlier in this thread after the pics were released. It just looks like it detaches as a flying craft. Neat.
  7. Thank you for the heads up. I haven't seen any in SoCal. A friend picked one up for me in Vegas. I would like a couple more. The build on the ghost makes him shorter than the ones in other sets. It is a neat set all in all. With all the new themes coming out in 2013 I don't have a lot of hope for MF continuing.
  8. Radness! I grew up with GI Joe in the early and mid 80s(some in the 70s too). Great work on these vehicles and characters. Have you seen the Croc Boat in Legends of Chimia? I forsee some GI Joe Mocs using it.
  9. I wonder why no pictures have been found yet. All other themes have pics leaked/sneaked already.
  10. I just checked out the instruction pics. AMAZING! Such superb builds and scale. Thank you for sharing. Do you have a parts list for these MOC's?
  11. When this theme was announced I had little to no interest. But as most things Lego after coming out of my dark ages this theme does actually have some cool stuff. I agree on the fresh color palette. Hopefully the second wave will have more structures. I think 70013 could be modded into a new ADU vehicle for my Alien Conquest stuff. 70006 reminds me of something from G.I. Joe. Very cool set IMO. I'm sure there will be a lot of MOCs incorporating this set. Green dingys and what looks like a possible flying rig in the back but that may just be the means of propulsion for this beast.
  12. Takes me back to childhood. When classic space came out it was so awesome. I would take my Galaxy Explorer over to my friends place and he had a bunch of stuff. All I have left are a few of the original figs. You should consider yourself fortunate you still have the sets. I bet you can clean them up pretty good.
  13. Sandcrawler. We definitely need to have a reissue of the pride and joy of the Jawas. Maybe not next year but soon hopefully.
  14. I had pretty good luck last night at TRU. They had one S8 box which had been searched pretty good, 3 of S7 and and one of S6. I went through all of the S8 and S7 (needed one more for a gift). Then walking around some of the aisles I found the bulk wall hanging bin. It had some S7 and a lot of S8. I went through all of those too. While doing so a woman walked up and started feeling the packets too. I asked which one she was looking for and she said a Santa. I knew pretty much where he was in the stack of packets I had already searched. She was really happy and then I asked if she knew about the B2G1F sale. She didn't. So I got her 5 more S8 she wanted. She was so happy. I even gave up the only diver I had found that evening. I always try to help others when I'm getting the figs. Pay it forward.
  15. Mods please relax a bit. A more gentle warning might be more appropriate for a member with only 6 posts. Un-bind em if ya know what I mean.
  16. Galaxy Enforcers is too close to Space Police Galactic Enforcer Style 5974
  17. I scored today. Picked through all the S8 figures my TRU had. Can't beat the B2G1 sale. Got all that I wanted pretty much. Even a few multiples for myself and gifts. Need a few more too. This is a great series with them all together. I think the evil robot is the best with the manbat second. When the first pictures were released I wasn't fond of the manbat. Pretty cool in retrospect.
  18. WOW! Talk about detail.
  19. Steampunk Vader Very cool.
  20. Rad!
  21. I think the following comments carry my thoughts as well. I only really got into CW after a couple sets were made that I liked. I wanted to know more about Cad Bane. Now he is one of my favorite characters. There are no dreams of grandeur for my Lego SW building goals. I just want a small Hoth, Tatooine, Cloud City, Death Star, and Endor. Sets like 8038 and 9516 inspire creativity I think most AFOLs would agree for the most part. I mean c'mon, the Sith Fury is pure sweetness and light from the dark side! That being said I don't care for the big eyes or cartoon feel of the CW minifigs.
  22. Prelim pics are good. They show development of product and packaging. I especially liked the stuff from Alien Conquest.
