There is some good discourse here. The set is phenomenal. Finally a Lego made haunted house. If it were in white or off-white I could say it is like the haunted mansion at Disneyland. People find inspiration in works of others. This is one reason a forum like this exists. I have to finally state that EB is the most anal forum I am on in regards to moderator behavior. I can understand when a thread goes totally off tangent but to threaten members of being banned is taking it too far. I don't think this has happened yet in this thread but I have read recently of a mod doing so. Also ease up on telling people what they can and cannot post. Unless it is blatant threatening text. Chill out for gods sake. Now can we get back to talkin Monster Fighters goodness?

Saw a few of the sets at Target here in California finally. The train, mummy, werewolf, and scientist were all sharing an endcap with some LOTR sets. I didn't have any money and therefore didn't get any. I doubt they will last through the weekend.

Finally found some of the LOTR sets at Target. They also had a few of the Monster Hunters too. No money = no new lego.

I've got a few ideas about this work of LEGO art. I still like the castle but after the purchase of the haunted house the castle purchase will most likely be second hand online without figures or vehicles. Also, I think it would be very cool to somehow build the haunted house with a basement for the laboratory. Definitely no need for the Ghost Train since we get three ghosts with the house. Damn I hate LEGO cause they find ways of making me part with so much money!!!!

Well done. I think the brick bricks on the base should be the gray kind so it looks more like a stone foundation but other than that it is rad.

This is pretty cool and since I don't own a blue Classic Spaceman I'd pick this up if I see it in store. I picked up one of these in black at TRU and was surprised it was only about 22USD. I would get more in black if they show up. Great way to display minifigs and keep em clean at the same time.

I'm surprised there isn't more support for this too. This could follow on with the Sopwith, Shuttle, and Wright Flyer. They have architecture and trains, why not aviation as well.

Effing cool! I want it and may have most of the parts to build a copy but not sure I want to open up my second EDHQ just yet. I don't know how to use LDD well enough to build cool stuff let alone in real life. It totally has the Aliens feel. Well done.

Likewise. I had the Knievel toys of the day and the CMF daredevil really touches a sentimental side. I'm sure we will see MOCs using the figure and motorcycles.

Seems this series is still very popular. I usually only find a couple per Target store. People don't seem to like the daredevil. I think he's great but find quite a few when packets are available.. I finally managed to get grandmas visitor and have yet to get the bride, valyrie, and office guy. Good luck to all. TRU never seems to have a shortage due to their markup.

That is an excellent deal! I didn't see this online so you must have found it "in-store". Really enjoying seeing the modifications to the EDHQ. Great work. I can picture a trailer fitted to launch the viper jet, carry that small recon vehicle, or other similar modular units.

Great MOC. Supported. I would definitely like one of these. It could also be an Alien Conquest jet. Never put the Blues and AC together but they definitely rock the same colors.

This year really sucks! Too many awesome sets and themes. I saw the Monster Fighters in TRU today and they look great aside from the TRU markup. The same TRU also had all the LOTR sets in too.

Great review. I just picked this set up with the TC-14 promo and haven't built it yet. Looks fun and I will hopefully figure out something with the landing gear as I did with my falcon.

That ghost polybag is fantastic!

Seeing the box photos reminds me of how much fun this set was when I was a child. So many play features (i.e. mission capable).
