Thanks for sharing, Smith_Boy *y* This set looks nicer than I thought... But I probably won't go for it, as a start; I'll see later on. Too many other great sets on wishlist :-D LuxorV

Thanks for sharing, Starwars4J *y* I think this one is my fav Human BattleMachine for this year, and my fav Human vehicle after the HybridTank *wub* The only con I see is the gap behind Hikaru's back. A shot there will be a very bad experiance X-D ;-) LuxorV

Another great interview. It's nice to see a so pics-full show about Sinner (especially his fashonate dressing) and a more complete story about how he came to be one of the greatest personalities here *wub* Thanks ImperialShadows and Stauder. *y* Now, I have some bad feeling about next interview 8-| X-D Sinner: if you ever complete that FF8 MOC, I'll be there waiting for a full review! Hello and welcome to EB. See you around the boards ;-) LuxorV
-
Thanks :'-) That's high pride, coming from a top builder like you. It seems all these last years spending browsing on Brickshelf for inspiration and building tips are paying now :-P You'll see something bigger and more complex in a week: I'm gonna show EB the second chapter of my story, as I promised some time ago. ;-) LuxorV

I saw great use of that head here, too. Very nicely built and from a funny movie :-P LuxorV

Hinckley said it would be about Vikings (here) ;-) LuxorV

I'll see what I can do as soon as I find that song, Sinner ;-) It's a simple light grey lightsaber hilt from the old AT-ST (7127). LuxorV

Ops... :-$ My fault: the Italian title is "Fuori in 60 secondi", and 'Fuori' translates as 'Out' :-) Btw: aren't there 2 versions of it (one from the '70s-'80s and one with Cage), or have they different titles 8-| ? LuxorV
-
Oh, I don't know if they're that necessary... Ever known of a movie by the title "Out in 60 seconds"? ;-) LuxorV

Wise Walrus will guide us *y* Do you write out of personal experience with these beauties? ;-) LuxorV

Lego's Catapult Obsession Takes a Very Dark Turn...
LuxorV replied to Athos's topic in General LEGO Discussion
X-D Very funny, indeed. It seems to me that Mom has a remote control in her right hand and is going to throw the Baby as soon as Father is in the right trajectory... ;-) LuxorV -
I agree, I always loved that cap. LuxorV

Very nice creations, with lots of energy and thoughts in them *y* I'll be waiting for the game-story to start ;-) Btw: isn't it a bit dangeroure to leave the quad outside the shelter. Mutants (they're the most intelligent, right?) could steal it 8-| LuxorV

COMPETITION! Design and build a household item from LEGO!
LuxorV replied to Siegfried's topic in General LEGO Discussion
You're welcome :-) . I first came on it on BrickShelf, and only later I did find out it was your entry for this contest. I like it because it's simple, but very nice and useful, imo. And it is quite a change from the classic house-hold items you can see in LEGo inspiration books *y* LuxorV -
It must be so, since they do not appear in the 2 lower pics... LuxorV

Congrats to the winners, and great entries all *y* *y* Thanks to Hinckley for this fantastic contest *y* LuxorV

What about drawing a door? :-P LuxorV

It'd seem you got a promotion and something like 6 Red and Blue medals in less than one week! X-D ;-) LuxorV

I have to agree with you: I don't like this microscale sets. Btw - Thanks for the pics Lord Of Pies *y* LuxorV

When this contest started, I got it it was based on the mech's resemblance to the sigfig. I got it that way because it seemed to have been inspired to my ( *wub* - self pride) Hinckley Special, an Exo-Force styled version of Hinckley's sigfig with few details that (as MicVash says) explained his character (as I see it, at least :-$ ). So, I built an Exo-Force styled version of Shakar's sigfig, with details such as the magic staff, black color scheme and the black katana. Then I saw some mecha entering the contest that do not even have the sigfigs' colors or that are based on built-on-purpose versions of the sigfigs. Still, I guess they're ok, as long as Zero says so. Now, my question is: will we (all EB members) have to judge the resemblance between the mecha and the sigfigs they're based on, or has it become a contest of sheer mech-building skills 8-| ? Mind you, I'm not saying there are any illegal entries. I like them all *y* I just got a bit confused about how this contest is getting along 8-| . Bye ;-) LuxorV

Ok, polite talking apart, I think this set is great, especially for the minirobot. Even so, I'm not planning to get it for now... Will see *sad* And, Hinckley, the hinge piece is not new. Ok, I had mistaken it for this :-$ . The one in Storm Lasher is new *y* . Thanks for the perfect review, as always. LuxorV

Oh, yes, I saw that one and I find it very funny X-D And with an interesting 'foot-print' technique *y* . But I did not know it was based on a song 8-| . I'll have to expand my musical universe :-$ LuxorV

Thanks for your comments :-) Well, it wasn't built to top a backstory. As I said, I took inspiration from the song Sabotage by Beastie Boys. If you must have a backstory, than you can fancy it's some angry naturalistic who hates chemical industries and wants to shut this down, not realizing he's gonna hurt nature worst by this. Or he could be a rebel in some country under oppressive govern: he wants to mine the bases of the power, like industries and so on. Else, you can make your own backstory and post it here :-P ;-) Thanks again, but all I did was experimenting a technic I saw on BrickShelf, and building a scene around it :-$ . LuxorV

Wow, this is GREAT *y* *y* *wub* *y* It's a really big improvement with respect to the last I saw from LEGO (1730 and 6577) I *wub* how the skis and the tracks are articulated to the main body. The pattern of the frontal cover adds a lot, too. And everytime I look at it, I see a little bit more of its design that makes me think "It's the work of a genius!", with that clever use of the trike main body as core of the mobile. Just one con: Hinckley must have a really bad backache when he jumps down that saddle X-D ;-) Great job you 3 *y* *y* *y* (one thumb up each). Can't wait to see it in action :-D LuxorV
