I'm not sure about what you mean by 'make it original (if you can) because that would defeat the purpose of the decal': you want the official LEGO minifig version or a special custom version different from the official one? Anyway, you can try this: Just cut off the torso (if you don't need it), and change the face color to white (is that you need, right). You can easily do that with photoshop or any other imaging program (even paint). Hope this helps. LuxorV
