Thanks everybody for the wishes. It has been a good day for me, even if it was a 'work in the field' one and I got no LEGO so far (but a BrickLink package is due to arrive next week ). Happy B-day to the others, too! LuxorV

Thank you; I added the values to the guide LuxorV

LIBRARY: Pirate Torso/Decal/Sticker Designs

You can try this link: it has a short part on resizing and a table with the most common sized used for decals. Hope this helps. LuxorV -
Just to close this (and I maen do not add further post on this matter; if you wish, you can contact me on PM), I'll tell you those are not wings and the tag is not a fairy but a ballerina. This is what I'd use for a Fairy tag. LuxorV

Hi all, I've noticed that a recent flood of requests has not been matched by an equal ammount of delivered decals. And I've been informed of the concern of some members about this. By this, I don't mean to say the decal makers should feel guilty or anything. I'm just stating things. Now, since there can be various reasons for this slow times, and since the decals makers on EB don't work on these only but it's just part of their hobby, I would ask the other members to allow us some time to complete the current list of requests before making new ones, and don't re-state the old ones, please. They are recorded here and will be done. Thanks everybody LuxorV

How do you like this? And, since I don't know of any Fabuland fig with an orange torso, here is a blue version for the normal walrus: Enjoy LuxorV

Our member the enigma that is badger shares with us some beautiful pictures of the new BrickArms products that have been shown at BrickFair, Including a wonderful Claymore sword! Check and discuss here.

Actually, I don't have the game. I played it at my cousins'; that's why I didn't collected the reference pictures directly from screenshots. I'll see what I can do in the next weeks. LuxorV

Thanks Cyclone Titan Before you start printing them, though, you might want to take a look at the new version of the hazard suit: as you can see, I added shadowing to give it more detail, following Princess Ariana's feedback from the BrickForge forum. Of course, I modified the Gordon Freemanwalrus decals too: version 1, 2 and 3. LuxorV

If you say so... LuxorV

Thanks all for the positive feedback You're welcome, Mr. Walrus I'll be waiting to see your MOCs! Probably this is a stupid question, but what is Steam? And yes, they have a red eye. But there is a very important reason why I made it grey: I didn't have the game at hand when I collected the reference pictures for the various characters, and so I looked for them on the net. When I made the Combine Elite (or Spec Ops as I called them), I used a reference picture where the 'eye' was not lighted, so to say', so it is not red but grey. I'll make a red up-date asap Thank you, Walrus Keeper. It took some dozens of hours of intense play to grasp they nature in its depth (Except for the over-mentioned Combine Elite, which I deeply dislike in the game, and try to eliminate as fast as possible without looking too much at the colour of his 'eye' ) LuxorV

I'm sure the enigma that is badger already shared all he can say on this issue. Any further discussion will only be based on speculations and telltales. Considering this, I'll close the topic. LuxorV

General question to all the decal makers !?!
LuxorV replied to Capt. Kirk's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
It's ok with me too. As long as you don't do that because you find them poor, that is! LuxorV -
I think Matn already answered your question. On the other end, you could spend a little more time when posting to refine your grammar and style. Thanks Would you two please leave the moderating to the Moderators? Thank you too LuxorV

Not really a compliment, but at least it means you appreciate my photographing abilities He sent me them for a first hand 'test' after we exchanged some PMs and I asked him info in the latest prototypes. LuxorV

I Would Like Some Harry Potter Torsos
LuxorV replied to Nix's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Please stop asking for decals outside this thread. And, it would be appreciated if you could post without using all bold text. Thanks LuxorV -
It's a composite of one of these, which holds the cheese slope, and one of these, which holds the plates. LuxorV
-
Thanks all for the positive comments As for the colours, it is not totally sheep-coloured: it has a white core, some bley plates on the sides, the obvious black cheese slope, and a metallic silver grill; the only problem is that my camera put in its mind to go crazy with the macro and colour settings a few weeks ago. Untill I'll find a replacement for it, I fear I'll have to take what it can give For further progress, I followed Jim's advice and turned the cheese slope upside-down: It effectively looks more like a toaster than a sheep now Sorry for that . The whole Toaster Story thingy came out when I was away for some work trip or another, and I missed the actual start of it. I just grasped that Shadows and Stauder where in it to their necks (how surprising! ). Would you mind making a recap? LuxorV

This MOC was, needless to say, inspire by the ongoing toaster mania started by Stauder and ImperialShadows. Before you start, no, it's not a miniscale sheep or anything. It's a toaster! Another slightly different angle Gallery (when public) Hope you like it. LuxorV
