  1. Next up is Team 10 (a.k.a. Team Asuma). Asuma Sarutobi Yellow and Flesh Shikamaru Nara Yellow and Flesh Ino Yamanaka Yellow and Flesh Choji Akimichi Yellow and Flesh Again, I included torso design for both series I and II for Shikamaru and Choji; Asuma is always the same, and I could not find a good pic of Ino from series II . I find Choji to be the most interesting character of this group as for decal design. Arms and legs' decals may come after I finish the main characters torsos and faces. Hope you like them, and keep an eye for next Team! LuxorV
  2. Here I am Let's see what you can come up with LuxorV
  3. I don't know if it's good enough, but some months ago I made this one: LuxorV
  4. I'll add the Official LEGO 2010 colour palette released some weeks ago: (Click to view it at full size) @ clone killer - thanks for your contribution, but could you please reduce the image size to 800 pixels max, especially since this is not a showcase of the design, but just a reference for the colour? Thank you LuxorV
  5. Happy Birthday my friend! Have a great one and my your wishes come true LuxorV

  11. Nice little concept, and nice building, Peppermint_M. While waiting for the modifications, I have one question: is the steering wheel for driving, while the levers are used for moving the tipper? Or are there supposed to be other functions? Just curious Oh, and could you please reduce the pic size to 800 pixels maximum. Thanks! LuxorV
  12. Incredibly detailed and mind-opening MOC! I know I'd never build something like this (especially at this scale), but it's nice to see someone does. Thanks for sharing this finding, Cyclone Titan. LuxorV
  13. Happy Birthday Deinonychus! May it be filled with LEGO, cake and whatever else you may wish for LuxorV
  14. Eurobrick's Root and Space Administrator Siegfried shares with us a nice review of some of Arealight's latest custom printed figures: the Twi'leks from Star Wars (Click on the picture to read the review and join the Walrus's harem discussion)

  16. It's never too late to start learning something more I agree that like most decals, these can fit a variety of themes other than the one they 'come' from (I can already picture the Sakura series I dress used for a random Japanise lady). I'd love to see the uses you'll find for them! As you can easily imagine, your Naruto fig has been the spring that made me decide to start this project. It's been a long time since I first made some Naruto decals, and I always wanted to make something better than those poor first versions. Since I learnt a lot about decals' design in these years, I'm glad to hear that other designers too think I improved my skills. Of course, feel free to use them, or to let them inspire you to make even better ones LuxorV

Thanks both for the feedback. I like this kind of MOCs, so I may try some other items in the future LuxorV
  18. I agree; there is always a thin line when brick building minifig-scaled versions of monsters: you have to make them complex enough to recreate their peculiar aspects, but you also have to keep them small enough to avoid fallin in the 'super deformed head' Japanise manga style. I'm glad you think I kept it balanced LuxorV
  19. Thanks, saberwing! I'm glad you like them. That's simply because it's supposed to be covered by the hair LuxorV
  20. Happy Birthday Omicron! Have a great day! LuxorV
  21. It reminds me of an old idea book I have somewhere. This is like a re-styling of that design, and a very good one, too Nicely done, Klaus-Dieter! LuxorV
  22. Well, since it started about 15 hours before Ras' actual time zone, it is just correct that it lasts 15 hours later too LuxorV
  23. Very nice rendition, Dave Shaddix! Very accurate to the original At first I found the all-studs look of the cover a bit strange, but I think that's because I'm used to SNOTs lately. The more I look at it now, the more it seems appropiate for this model; it gives a nice aura of old style and classic builds. LuxorV
  24. Here we start, of course with Team 7 (a.k.a. Team Kakashi). Kakashi Hatake Yellow and Flesh Sakura Haruno Yellow and Flesh Naruto Uzumaki Yellow and Flesh Sasuke Uchiha Yellow and Flesh I included torso design for both series I and II for Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke (Kakashi is always the same). In Sakura's Series II skirt, the red part could be cut off to allow a wider movement range. Sasuke has a lot of face designs because of the sharingan variants: none, first use against Haku, tow dots/tomoes in both eyes, three dots/tomoes ('final' form) and finally Mangekyo Sharingan; moreover, mots of the sharingan variants have also an happy/flown expression and a disapponted/angry one. I know there could be more variations, expecially for Naruto and Sasuke, and that the arms and legs could use some decals too. I don't plan to make them in the near future, but I could eventually take on them after I finish the main characters torsos and faces. Hope you like them, and look out for the next Team! LuxorV
