Managed to pick up the Harry Potter set today and they had a Ninjago set left over from yesterday in the WH Smiths I went in and they gave me that too. No golden bricks though.

Really exciting figures. It seems that TLG are trying to make male/female pairs for a lot of themes in the Collectable Minifigures series.

They could release two versions: before and after being targeted by the Death Star. The 'after' version would just be loads 1x1 round plates!

Popped into WHSmiths at about 11am this morning and they still had boxes full of them left. Either not as many people know about the offer yet, or they've planned this promotion a bit better and got in plenty of stocks. I guess we'll find out throughout the week as more people cotton on...

The 6212 X-Wing was on the US S&H page yesterday when I looked.

What's the deal with 6212? Surely there will be plenty of them about still when the new one comes out - will it get recalled from TRU (UK) or will TRU put it on sale? Or is this is the wrong place to ask?

I agree. And the success of it was that it came with buildable accessories and scenes for the characters rather than mini-models. This calendar would be much better if it had more things along the lines of the weapons rack, tool rack and Mechno-chair. Perhaps an Echo Base control centre desk or a hangar fuel pump or something similar?

I ordered the advent calendar yesterday, and I certainly won't be saving it for December! Maybe I'll get another one before Christmas... Oh, and I ordered a Slave 1 from Woolworth's too, to keep me going until the new wave.
