The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen would be cool.

It's not on UK S@H. Link is on this thread for US S@H.

Indeed, but why spend money on the license for Rollercoaster Tycoon when they can just call it something else and bring the price down? The idea of building a theme park isn't exactly exclusive intellectual property. Sounds good though and I think it would be popular. Make it system scale and it sit well with City too.

That hideout is a great set! As someone else mentioned, it's a shame that the Riddler doesn't have a cane. I'd love that piece to be made by TLG. Or are they suggesting that jemmy he is carrying is meant to be a cane?

LEGO Collectable Minifigures display cases
Thego replied to BigDumbWookiee's topic in Special LEGO Themes
They've been on Amazon UK for quite some time now, but only in yellow. I bought one last month, which came with white baseplates. I bought another one this month and it came with black baseplates. I don't know whether they've changed from white to black or whether it is pot luck which you get. -
I think it is pretty obvious then: the Police Station is meant to connect to the Fire Temple to make a Ninjago Forest Fire Station Police Temple. Thanks for the review - been looking forward to seeing some of the new City sets reviewed.

I voted for the Ceremonial Leia, because it will go so well with Han and Luke. Looks like I'm going to have to make a custom Jan Dodonna though...

No Wilko's that I've ever been have ever sold Lego. They've always had M*ga Bl*ks.

According to this, it was received through the post from LucasArts as some sort of promo for the Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars video game. I'm guessing it was sent out to those in the video game review industry - magazine and website journalists?

I'd love to see Muppets, but it would probably involve too many new moulds.
-
Funny, I was going to keep the head and replace the body with the current one.

Not sure about the C-3P0 yet. Love the printed eyes, not so sure about the torso print. As ceroknight says, it may take some getting used to. Still, I'm really excited about most of the new sets. As a kid, I looked forward to Christmas. As an AFOL, I look forward to January.

Amazon has 8038 Battle of Endor for only £56.95 currently. Bargain!
-
As flat_four says, £4. I might pick up a few more as it's a nice little yellow parts pack (for a good cause).

Asda is now selling the Children in Need LEGO Pudsey, if anyone is interested. It was on the display with all the other CIN stuff at my local store today.

LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace TV Special
Thego replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I posted this on the recent purchases thread - The Padawan Menace DVD and Blu-ray is now available in Tesco. They had an off fixture display especially for it. DVD = £5, Blu-ray =£8. -
I just popped into Tesco and they have some displays with The Padawan Menace DVD and Blu-ray. Picked up the Blu-ray for the Young Han Solo minifig.

That... is... beautiful! Thanks for sharing.

Oh, yes - Winter Village Tavern would be great!

Why search for ideas when ideas can come to them? It makes sense to me. Bit harsh. Not everyone is as brilliant as you at MOCing. I thinking calling other people's MOCs 'Crap' is snobby and not in the spirit of Lego.
-
I don't for one minuted think that TLG would release anything from Cussoo exactly as it appears on there. I think it is more for ideas.

Are you saying that Catholicism is not Christianity? I think Catholics might be a bit upset about that.
-
Whilst he isn't entirely Christian, doesn't the honorific 'Saint' give you a little clue about his role as a Christian figure?

Black Friday. A small department store with scenes of chaos. Minifigs fighting over products, wrestling with each other and arguing over cutting in line. What could be more traditional? Would come with 2,000 minifigs. In all seriousness, I think a Santa's grotto would be a nice addition to the range. Or perhaps a small Macy's style parade.
