Very nice *y* *y* . The backpacks look great on the Western figs. The mounted infantry and hussar-like calvary are my favorites.

Lol, that knight won't last long! I love how you include an element of illumination in your vignettes, here the blue effect worked extremely well.

:-D Now that's a figurehead! The newest entries look great! I like the two headed aspect of Bonaparte's, it's really novel. Fat Tony's figurehead is brilliant X-O -
Happy birthday y'all!

Tumblehome effect in brick built hulls

Thanks Phred! I'm thinking about making another two decked ship of the line, but much wider. Are there any straight lines in a ship? -

Ship's Figurehead contest - Discussion thread

Lol, I was going to make a naked lady too...Capt'n Green Hair beat me to it :-D ! I had the same idea for a figurehead with 1x1s for boobies. All of the figureheads are looking great *y* but Captain Green hair's is my favorite so far. -
What I want to ask is this: in order to be as realistic in appearance as possible, how should tumblehome be rendered in a brick built hull? For example, should the first gun deck not exhibit an curvature but the next deck should, (like in Zcerberus's Phantom), or should all (in this purely hypothetical case 2) gun decks exhibit tumblehome?

The person above me might agree that this topic should not still be alive.

I like his hair, it's neat. I think he should have green facial hair, but it's only a minor nitpick.

I love seeing these aesthetic/artistic mocs you make. I think you should consider exploring the potential of Lego as an art medium in future. -
Good advice :-D

Thank you for the feedback Hinckley and Sinner! I'm flattered you guys liked my entry :-$ Imperialshadows, I would enter the restaurant anyway, it's very awesome.

I have to say, I am really impressed with the entries X-O Freebee's classroom was pretty real to me, I love the blackboard. I also really like Nadroj's AFOL fig :-D and the panda. Sinner's tugboat is great, I especially like the couch :-D I like how Alex's used that particular baseplate, it works really well with his lighthouse, and I like how he made the lights. What I like best about Legocastlegirl's shop is all the vegetation. The building reminds me of an A-frame house. The sheer size of Landlubber's truck is very impressive X-O My favorite aspect to Hinckley's brewery is the architectural style as well, it looks a lot like a lot of buildings do where I live. I also like the fire escape and the giant billboard. I love how Barbossa's pizza place is so intricate, the exterior is a real pleasure to look at *y* . My favorite aspect of Yoda's bar are the windows and the big sign, and the outdoor area. Also the sand green color. My favorite parts of Glyman's restaurant are the bathroom's floor design, the rats and the Belville hands in pots, the paramedics, the ac. The atmosphere the MOC creates is so realistic and humorous *y*

B-OV-1A I have to say, I am very wowed by everyone's entries X-O ! Here is my entry, a City Hall. A tree planting ceremony with a tv crew, anchorwoman and some workers. Also a biker chick on the bench. A shady character examines the parking meter. This guy is trying to jump out of the window and into the open roof of his accomplice's Mini convertible to escape with his embezzled money. The IRS is always watching. The external air conditioning. Some unwanted documents are being trashed. The figs. The mayor is the striking red haired lady in blue. The Gallery

I think Hinckley might have hit the nail on the head. I think Dan might actually have killed Stinky, which would explain his apparently mundane death by stabbing. Sloshing was heard around the time Stinky was killed, which would no doubt be the sound of Dan clambering aboard the ship and walking to the cargo hold, and he may have killed Stinky in an altercation or, if Hinckley is right and Dan is Stinky's bro, the stabbing was simply treachery. When Dan found the container was unopenable, he fled. As to why Stinky's face was suckered off, I would guess the monster, who may be Stan, came by later and for some reason skeletonized his head.
