  1. Good to hear that there are still quite a few unrevealed CMF. They should be able to cover the first three books/movies pretty well.
  2. I could see them doing something similar to Destiny's Bounty/Temple and Ninjago City: focus on major characters in the retail sets and minor ones + a few main character variants in the D2C set.
  3. I'm not sure who the greenish figure with the swords/sticks could be. Then again, I didn't even know Brother Eye existed... Did the other one look like they had a top hat?
  4. I had to give it to Joker for the abundant details/accessories and the Killing Joke reference. Kind of funny considering the Joker from series 1 was one of the worst in either series. Runners up are Canary, Phosphorus, and the Wonder Twins.
  5. Dumbledore is definitely one I'd like to see in the CMF at some point. He has enough different variations of his robes in the films. As for Voldemort, I'd like too see Wormtail with "baby" Voldemort, although it would probably be better suited to a remake of the graveyard set.
  6. I'm not crazy about this theme so far, but it sounds like the clown will have some cool parts. The green and purple transparent balloon animals sound like great accessories for The Joker.
  7. Because I'm sure yet another Batman is just what the target audience has been looking for.
  8. The thing with the Hogwarts D2C is that there are just way too many potential characters that could be included. Even with 20+ minifigures like the Death Star many of them couldn't fit. I think that the ghosts are more suited for a CMF series since they require a lot more printing than most of the Hogwarts students/teachers.
  9. There's no guarantee there. TLBM series 2 was very detailed but the minifigures from the third wave released at the same time lacked numerous details. I'd imagine most people who bought Ninjago City are pretty immune at this point. Going by the current rumors possible new parts could include the snitch (more likely a printed part IMO), a firework (easy to make w/ existing parts), a cake or candle (introduced in the upcoming CMF series?), a pig tail, a whistle, and maybe some new hair pieces?
  10. I think a single connected model is more likely then multiple ones that attach to NC. It is still going to need to function as a stand-alone set like the modulars.
  11. That's frustrating, but also the first I've heard of it. If that becomes the norm I'll be exclusively going through Bricklink.
  12. I finally found the new CMFs at B&N, there were no Stranges and I mistook FaF Alfred's guitar for Black Vulcan's lightning, but otherwise I got all of them I wanted. Hard to pick a favorite, but Phosphorus is the one I've most wanted since the first poster was released.
  13. Mario.power confirmed that "CC" is a Star Wars set at least.
  14. It's surprising that it is in the catalog, but it would be more surprising if the leaker included a fake alongside all of the obviously legit Star Wars and Ninjago images.
  15. I haven't seen the movie so I can only speculate based on unused models in the art book. There are a bunch of different stalls and food carts they could include. They also designed a bunch of arcade machines so I could see them including an arcade. I'm not sure what new minifigures could be included besides the norwal troops. The mayor? Maybe Nya with a helmet and her motorcycle.
  16. The decision to do another D2C was probably more due to the positive response to Ninjago City then the movie itself.
  17. Sort of. One more massive set at least.
  18. I also think it's strange to see a D2C set in a retailer catalog, but MarioPower is a pretty consistently reliable source.
  19. ^I'm in the same (flying) boat.
  20. Dang, another $300 Ninjago City set. That's going to make for one hell of a combined display.
  21. Is it possible that 70657 is the D2C set? Either way I'm super excited to get a potential expansion to Ninjago City.
  22. I'm kind of doubtful that the AT-ST will be in the instructions. I think that despite containing minimal spoilers it must to have been included in Disney's embargo. Every other 2018 set has been shown so far, almost all were leaked a month ago.
  23. He has the same gingerbread indent in his head in the movie at least.
  24. You can see the Joker's torso in the movie credits. Unlike the Killing Joke shirt it's the same color on both the top and bottom.
