  1. Thank you! I will try something with the roof Thank you! Well, looks like I managed it: now front axle is more robust than elder version, look at new steering knuckles I am really happy, that mustang rims came to me before contest's end Some other photos And full view Thank you very much for comments!
  2. Have seen your "behind the build" videos. Very interesting project with increible progress. I will say again: you are one of the best lego builders I know. Keep it up!
  3. Thank you! I am happy to say, that now I have got these amazing rims! I will try to reinforce front axle with it
  4. Amazing progress! I think, everything is good with system parts. Mack anthem set is also have some system parts
  5. Thank you for comments. Of course firstly I was going to make the roof removable. Problem in thickness of roof: if roof was removable, it should be around 0.5 stud thick
  6. Hello! Here is it I rebuilt a hood, now it looks pretty nice Also I made dashboard Glove box is here Jeep Wrangler is not Jeep Wrangler without cool suspension But I still have a problem with a roof. Should I try to make a roof? On the one hand, without roof here is pretty comfortable access to gearbox, on the other hand - model looks undone without it. Or not? Thank you for reading!
  7. I think, you should not use angle connectors
  8. Everything is nice! Only windshield racks look out of model's style
  9. Thank you! While I was recolouring front part, I also tried to rebuild front suspension to make it truly independed axle. And I managed it! Now suspension of model is full torsion
  10. Hello! Thank you all for comments To be honest, model is pretty robust except front axle. I want rebuild it in future Well, I think I am pretty near to finish Front parts is still red, not for a long time) Rear suspension is work very nice. All doors now are openable. Also side doors are removable I came to the problem, that making removable roof will me pretty complicated without plenty of system parts. I should think about it really good...
  11. Thank you all for your replies. Of course, I will save fenders and roof in black Now I have this Yes... But we have light bright orange panels, that may be useful in hood, or I will rebuild a bit hood
  12. I came into the problem, that I haven't necessary red parts to built the doors (top border). For this reason I want to ask for advise: which color I should choose to rebuild my model? Only yellow, white or black Thank you!
  13. Thank you! I think, I will make instruction only if I will make pretty strong wheel mountings at front (now they are not so strong). I hope it will be possible with mustang rims (I am going to buy it in near future) Thanks! Do you mean this solution? Thank you! I like technig figures too :)
  14. Hello After a week some bodywork elements are drawed LBG 5 stud axle in the grille will be replaced with black one Opening hood (or why I was puzzling about fake engine?) ) Also I reinforced front axle (escpecially wheel mounting), mounted torsion bars and made axle truly depended! Need to say that suspension travel is small, for this reason front axle in majority is working as pendular I hope, I will finish model before the deadline :) Thank you for reading!
  15. I really like how it looks now! A bit simple, but with taste
  16. Wow... Beautiful photo. Really interesting shapes of model
  17. This evening was pretty productive I made all seats that car needs Driver's seat place was modified and now here technic minifig fits too, look, @Shtykoff There enough space for 4 minifigs, one extra place in the center of rear seats, but not so comfortable Also rear suspension was modified because of upcoming weight at the rear, and now it is torsion Thank you for reading!
  18. Thank you! I am trying to do my best
  19. No, I actually can put technic minifig on passenger seats! But on driver's seat there is the same problem as in russian minibuses "Gazelle" - unnecessary leg
  20. You are right! These 7 studs beams were temporary solution This time I was making seats and new fake engine, also it caused little chassis changes New engine works much smother and better than older version, also "nose" was cut off for the space for grille and front bumper First seats were planned 4 studs wide, but gearbox and scale dictated its conditions Thank you for your comments!
  21. It is the best supercar from lego I have ever seen... Incredible job! Bodywork is beyond praise...
  22. Thank you very much! Pleasant to read comments from you!)
  23. After another brainstorm I built steering system, that really works! Here you can see system better After these gears another pair of 8 tooth gears rotates lever, that moves steering link And in action: See also how gear changes from 1st to 4th in order Thank you for reading!
