  1. After many rainy days in this region, I finally had the chance to let it run outside. Conclusion - it's a beast! Hint: to facilitate charging the BuWizzs, I installed two of these adapters:
  2. Yesterday, I performed the BuWizz setup on the bare chassis. This morning, I finished the model by re-attaching the body and the wheels. I did a very, very careful test in our living room trying to avoid hitting the walls. Looking forward to letting it run outside, soon. The speed is insane, great work!!!
  3. My bad! I checked the profile once again and figured out that I made a mistake in the configuration. The horizontal control was not linked to the Center Steer module. Now everything seems to work as expected.
  4. I believe I do need some help. I was now able to connect and configure the BuWizzs according to the layout. I am able to drive the car but the steering does not work. Triggering servo calibration for BuWizz #1 works and finishes fine, but in Drive mode, when using the horizontal slider, nothing happens.
  5. I finally found the time to finish the work on the Red Wolf. I really enjoyed building this awesome model! Unfortunately, I could not test-drive it, yet, as it turned out that one of my BuWizzs is broken
  6. No worries, I do understand these concerns, considering how many copycats there are...
  7. I used the Easter weekend to disassemble the Greyhound and prepare all the parts needed for the Red Wolf. Like I did with the Hammerhead, I am planning to do a few cosmetic changes by replacing the visible blue pins by black ones. @Didumos69, do you mind sharing the digital file of this model? This would make this task a lot easier.
  8. This upgrade came just in time for me. My Bugatti has been sleeping in its box for quite some time and I am planning to build it, soon. So, many thanks for this, @jb70! I did a quick comparison of the additional parts and arrived at this list of extra parts needed for v1.6 compared to v1.5
  9. Now you made me google it ;-) I owned the 8880 long time ago and, indeed, I completely forgot about the HOG.
  10. Is this a MOD to add HOG steering to this model? Let me try: "schwarz" = black "obere Halterung für die längere Lenksäule: (kommt von unten aus hintere(m) Ende des Daches)(siehe nebenan)" --> Upper mount/bracket for the longer steering column: (comes from below from the rear end of the roof) (see next page) "10er Lenksäule (zwischen Motor und Fahrerkanzel)" --> 10L steering column (=axle, I presume) (between engine and driver's cockpit) "keine Lochplatte" --> use the corresponding plate without holes
  11. As preparation for the Red Wolf I purchased two from their store. Shipping was 10.95, no other fees. (And they added a bazillion of their MTP stickers to the parcel)
  12. Joking aside, the Red Wolf is really a masterpiece! Sad to hear that Rebrickable is refusing to list the model in its entirety. By any chance, do you have a delta list comparing the Red Wolf to the Greyhound?
  13. Happy New Year! I chime with this! Being a fan of the Greyhound, I am also looking forward to building the Red Wolf. I am very much impressed by this still from the video linked earlier.
  14. I confess that I am also suffering from this kind of OCD ;-)
  15. Thanks! It will take some time to digest this incredibly stupid mistake. Next weekend the earliest I will start disassembling it again...
