[MOC] The EMPIRE STRIKES BACK - Rebel Fleet
bricksmarlin replied to mortesv's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Looks really great alltogether. I think the visitors at the convention will love it! -
Thanks @ecmo47, I'll take photos tomorrow to show how the U-Wing is built. By the way, almost forgotten! I have something for the background. It's a picture from the "Orion Nebula", it was taken by the hubble telescope in 2006. The picture quality is 18000x18000 pixel / 300dpi and it will be printed on acrylic glass. I'll need 3 pieces to cover the complete wall, I ordered the first to look if it works.

Hi Everyone, here is a small update of my rebel fleet. In the last two weeks, I worked on everything at the same time , depending on which parts I had available. I have enlarged the bases, they now cover the tables completely and will be black in the end. The 24 X-Wing got an update on "engine glow", the Y-Wings have a bit more color, I have reverse engineered four UB-820 Heavy Tanker, one for each section of the fleet. I also designed a micro scale U-Wing. And as the leader of the "Blue Squad" another CR-90. Hope you like it! http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/index.php?/gallery/album/6701-blue-squad/

[LDD] Mortesv's CR90 corvette (reverse-engineered version)
bricksmarlin replied to EKae's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thumbs up @EKae. Another great looking Cr-90. When I saw the LDD file for the first time I was not sure, but the color scheme looks really cool with real bricks. @mortesv that sounds great My project for this weekend is Renegade Clones Zeta Class Shuttle. (and maybe the Saturn V) -

[LDD] Mortesv's CR90 corvette (reverse-engineered version)
bricksmarlin replied to EKae's topic in LEGO Star Wars
@ecmo47 You can see it because of the square "deepening", part 85941 has a little circle! On Mortes pics you can see the little squares! Believe me I bought 44 of the wrong part before I noticed -

In the LDD it looks as if part 85941 is used. It should be part 6259. -

bricksmarlin replied to EKae's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Hello Ecmo. You're right, my construction is more like the one from Scottish Dave. But it's not exactly what I did. I have built individual sections, which were then assembled at the end. The individual sections were connected directly to each other. (parts 30414/11211) The backbone of technic bricks is fixed with the help of technic axle 3 (4519) and technic plate 2x4 with 3 holes (3709b). http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/index.php?/gallery/album/6681-sonstiges/ -

Me to. It was the only set that I had bought in the last 20 years before I started again with Lego last year! But mine is the light gray version. So if there is ever the chance to build this splendid piece, I could not take my 10030 as a part-donor, unfortunately!- 86 replies

That's what I thought! Arrggh....that means it would be super expensive! Was the 10030 a rebrick?- 86 replies

Your deflector shield and the rims for the engines are in LBG, or is it the old light gray?- 86 replies

May I ask, most of the levers and the domes of the deflector shield come from your 10030?- 86 replies
