  1. Looks really great alltogether. I think the visitors at the convention will love it!
  2. Thanks @ecmo47, I'll take photos tomorrow to show how the U-Wing is built. By the way, almost forgotten! I have something for the background. It's a picture from the "Orion Nebula", it was taken by the hubble telescope in 2006. The picture quality is 18000x18000 pixel / 300dpi and it will be printed on acrylic glass. I'll need 3 pieces to cover the complete wall, I ordered the first to look if it works.
  3. Hi Everyone, here is a small update of my rebel fleet. In the last two weeks, I worked on everything at the same time , depending on which parts I had available. I have enlarged the bases, they now cover the tables completely and will be black in the end. The 24 X-Wing got an update on "engine glow", the Y-Wings have a bit more color, I have reverse engineered four UB-820 Heavy Tanker, one for each section of the fleet. I also designed a micro scale U-Wing. And as the leader of the "Blue Squad" another CR-90. Hope you like it! http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/index.php?/gallery/album/6701-blue-squad/
  4. Thanks very much @ScottishDave
  5. Done! Have just mounted the wings, and what should I say? Just awesome! As mentioned before, great model, great instruction, fun to build and no problem at all! So thank you again to Renegade Clone for this fantastic work! http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/index.php?/gallery/album/6685-zeta-class-shuttle/
  6. Almost done. Now I just have to put everything together.
  7. @Renegade Clone Yes I did. To be honest it is an absolute joy to build this ship! The instructions are great, the model is super sturdy and everything is really straightforward!
  8. The last order has been sent, the build will start tomorrow.
  9. Thumbs up @EKae. Another great looking Cr-90. When I saw the LDD file for the first time I was not sure, but the color scheme looks really cool with real bricks. @mortesv that sounds great My project for this weekend is Renegade Clones Zeta Class Shuttle. (and maybe the Saturn V)
  10. Congratulations Scott! Great work, looks fantastic! Maybe a 2x4 plate and two 2x4 wedge plates to cover the gray parts!?
  11. Almost all parts are there. Waiting for 2 more orders. Next week the fun begins
  12. Another 200€ for parts! Did not like the used parts. Now all visible parts will be new.
  13. @ecmo47 You can see it because of the square "deepening", part 85941 has a little circle! On Mortes pics you can see the little squares! Believe me I bought 44 of the wrong part before I noticed
  14. In the LDD it looks as if part 85941 is used. It should be part 6259.
  15. I paid 350€ altogether! Old and new parts!
  16. Hello Ecmo. You're right, my construction is more like the one from Scottish Dave. But it's not exactly what I did. I have built individual sections, which were then assembled at the end. The individual sections were connected directly to each other. (parts 30414/11211) The backbone of technic bricks is fixed with the help of technic axle 3 (4519) and technic plate 2x4 with 3 holes (3709b). http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/index.php?/gallery/album/6681-sonstiges/
  17. Tought the same, a Death Star would be so cool!
  18. Me to. It was the only set that I had bought in the last 20 years before I started again with Lego last year! But mine is the light gray version. So if there is ever the chance to build this splendid piece, I could not take my 10030 as a part-donor, unfortunately!
  19. That's what I thought! Arrggh....that means it would be super expensive! Was the 10030 a rebrick?
  20. Good improvements, nicely done! I'm very excited about the end result! Keep up the good work
  21. Your deflector shield and the rims for the engines are in LBG, or is it the old light gray?
  22. May I ask, most of the levers and the domes of the deflector shield come from your 10030?
