Here's another sick-minded MOC for you :-P After the Second Crusade, the Crusader states and the Musilms made a truce with each other. The truce was broken, however, when Reynald of Chatillon attacked a Muslim caravan, starting war once more. Sultan Saladin of Egypt gathered a large army and marched it north, intent on recapturing Jerusalem from the Crusaders. The King of Jerusalem, King Guy, and Reynald left the city to stop Saladin. Saladin's army ambushed the Crusaders at Hattin, and defeated them. Both Guy and Reynald had been captured by the Egyptians, and were brought to Saladin's tent. An Egyptian soldier guards Saladin's tent: Inside, Saladin raises his scimitar: .. And cuts off Reynald's head: King Guy is frightened: A chronicler records the mayhem: The minifigs: Feedback appreciated *sweet*

Thanks, everyone *wub* Thank you, hollisbrick. I got the brain from the Studios Scary Laboratory ;-) Thanks, Mr Tiber *sweet* I agree it doesn't quite look right. I tried putting a stud underneath, but then the headdress was too high up. EDIT: I just tried using a leg and it works pretty good for a jackal (although it probably looks more like a hippo :-$ )

The Pharoah of Egypt has been presumed dead. The embalmers start to mummify him by wrapping cloth and linen around his body. However, the Pharoah just wakes up after a long sleep to find himself in a sticky situatuion. An embalmer prepares to wrap up the Pharoah's head: The Pharoah isn't too pleased about his situation: The chief embalmer, dressed up as Anubis: The inside of another mummified fellow: The whole cast: (I know that they take out the organs of the dead person and stuff them before wrapping them up, but for the purposes of this MOC, they don't. ) Feedback appreciated

Thanks, Sinner! *wub* I see the crownies have their new torso in this set. Mabye all of the 2008 sets will have that torso for the knights *sweet* About the orc helmets, they are the preliminary helmets shown in the pics of the 2008 sets, so we'll most likely be getting the *knight* helmets for them like in the Dwarf Mine.

Ok, here's my MOC on the Battle of Thermopylae: Basically, around 300 Spartans and 6,000 other Greeks defended a narrow pass against a huge army of Persians under Xerxes. The Greeks fought well, and killed many Persians. A Greek traitor revealed a way around the mountains to attack the Greeks from behind. the Greeks found this out and were ordered to retreat. King Leonidas of Sparta stayed behind with the Spartans and the Thespians to let the rest of the army escape. They made a final stand against the countless Persian soldiers, continuing to cut down their foes, but in the end, were all killed. The Persians had won, but at a terrible cost. They had been held off long enough for the Greeks to gather up an army, which would drive the Persians out over the next few years. The Greeks wait in their phalanx: The Persians charge: The two armies collide: Chaos ensues: Two Spartans make conversation while killing some Persians: King Leonidas: Feedback appreciated *sweet* *y*

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Creations
MagPiesRUs replied to lego.ryan's topic in Pirate MOCs
I think the skull is from one of the Pirates 4+ line. And great work, ryan. I especially like the 1st one *wub* Though Elizabeth looks rather happy after seeing Sao Feng die :-P -
The remaining people who inhabit the ruined cities around the world are excellent snipers, and are very resourceful. These people have rebuilt their old towns into crudely designed bunkers and forts, with lethal traps and devastating weapons. These men are masters of street-fighting, and none dare fight them in their own defenses. Their custom made guns are the most accurate around, and are extremely powerful aswell. This ontop of their expert training and warlike society, makes for some of the best warriors alive. However, there are very few left, as many wars, the harsh living conditions and the urge to join the ever-growing Imperial army have caused their communities to diminish. Here is one such urban base, situated on the coast: There is a gate going across the river: A trech, with two large guns designed to destroy invading ships: The effect of the apocalypse on nature is shown on this tree: A simple teepee-like house provides height for a solider to shoot from: Inside the teepee are two anti-aircraft guns, although they can also be used as normal cannons: The commander: A mostly human soldier: A mutated soldier: A robotic soldier: Enjoy! ;-) And here's a scene showing the Imperial forces attacking the urban rogue's stronghold: Feedback appreciated *sweet*

Here's my lastest MOC, this time 'Kutuzov at Borodino', although I can't find the name of the painter.. Borodino was a battle fought during the French invasion of Russia. Mikhail Kutuzov, the best Russian general of the time, met Napoleon's Grande Armee in September, just outside of Moscow. Napoleon was feeling sick at the time, and launched a headlong attack at the Russians. Both armies suffered huge casualties. Kutuzov decided not to use up all of his troops at Borodino, and decided to retreat the next day, allowing Napoleon to capture Moscow. In the end, around 70,000 men died. It was the bloodiest battle in the Napoleonic Wars. And here's mine: Kutuzov and his company (spot Napoleon's twin :-P ): An officer: The Russian army: Who's this? Once again, it's our painter! But he should've thought twice before painting the Russian army: Because the cossack he whacked earlier is part of it X-O The Cossack carries the painter away on his horse, ready to exact his revenge: Feedback appreciated *sweet*
