Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion

Just remember that Falcon has brought up that it may not be MCU related. -

Honestly, as long as he has a cowl and a white-eye head piece underneath (or the cowl has eyes!) they can put him in whatever suit they want. The old suits are pretty good figures, the head was always the weakest part IMO. -

I don't know his name (or if he appeared in Endgame) but that Kree soldier who was in Captain Marvel/attacked Peter would be cool. -

Why not? LEGO is doing nostalgia waves for HP too and those sets came out a similar time to the first HP sets. It being a generic comic Spider-man set is possible (and would be great) but wouldn't they go for a specific Spidey? -

I honestly think Endgame Thanos might be reused with a different expression, that's the biggest "okay fine" moment I'm expecting. No QR suits though (I think a lot of this wave is based off the negative reception to the Endgame wave). -

A few people on here have heard rumblings about that too. I think it could be comics based/animated show based but Raimiverse feels very possible. -

That is pretty funny we found out about the summer wave and both Eternals/Shang Chi before the D2C. Maybe a reveal soon? -

The Benatar with its piece count is going to be nuts, we could get our first REALLY good minifig-scale(ish) Marvel ship! -

Definitely the infinity gauntlet based on color scheme and it being iconic. I like the nano gauntlet but it can stay minifig scale. -

Between the Endgame set, Black Panther cowl, Iron Man 1 set and a ridiculously big spaceship, this is EASILY the best MCU wave. Just took a while to get here! Going to guess that the figures are Stealth Suit Cap, War Machine, Endgame Rocket, Fat Thor, Captain Marvel and Endgame Nebula. -

I can see it being the gauntlet or Thanos's head, because he and Iron Man are the biggest characters. -

Was Rocket wearing his suit at that time? I mean I don't think they'll have to be accurate but if this is how you get Thor I'm now worried about the potential for Fat Thor. -

Benatar(?) minifig selection is going to be interesting if it has Endgame Rocket. Does that mean it's based off him and Nebula owning it in the Endgame or just what the GOTG crew looks like at the end of the movie? -

Where is the stealth suit coming from? I hope you're right because I liked the possibility that the other figure is Batroc. -

Shame we're never getting another Milano from the looks of it but a $150 spaceship sounds GREAT. I'm actually unsure it's the Benatar though, could they really improve on the last one? -

I wonder if (as someone already pointed out) only five rings being included in the sets so far implies there's another set. -

The idea that the Mandarin is going after Shang Chi personally in a motorcycle is more intriguing than the set itself.. Would be funny if it was Lego's nod to the Iron Man 3 Mandarinmobile. -

Honestly, I think that if Fin Fang Foom is in the movie with his comics design he'll be a big fanservice secret. I have a feeling that the second set isn't actually screen-accurate (especially them all having a fight while a big dragon hangs out) and may be something they whipped up based on concept art. -

I mean, we don't know if that's Fin Fang Foom or not, absolutely could be. Considering the overhaul Mandarin is getting. -

I really like that car build, good scale. Looks like Morris is big enough to be his sidekick. -

I think there will at least one Thor set considering Iron Man and Cap have one, but WHICH Thor movie it is is up there (considering these sets may be filling in movie gaps, and Ragnarok already got sets). So I'm going to guess 76188 is a Thor set (doesn't have to be Ragnarok) and Korg either in Endgame Final Battle or the $150 really is New Asgard. -

Yeah, LEGO has always known what they're doing with Marvel figures: the various Iron Men being scattered around is a big hint. Harry Potter makes it pretty overt but less so than how they've handled the Iron Man suits (like the Hall of Armor addon holding the Mark 2 hostage). -
Depp as Grindelwald was surprisingly good to a lot of people, but he isn't the heart of the film (it's the main 4). As actors go I would say Mads is insanely popular so he will do fine to bring people in.

I think its a big implication that he's probably NOT in the Final Battle set, so expect a Ragnarok or another Endgame set to feature him. I'm starting to think Thor's House is a real possibility. -

Falcon has commented a few times to "not rule out Thanos", so I'm expecting Thanos.
