Because kids wouldn't buy it.

I'm not looking forward to Shrek CMF though I wouldn't be opposed to Dreamworks one, I just think Shrek may be a bit too repetitive with molds and similarities to existing figures (Gingy and existing Gingerbread figures for example). I would LOVE a Seuss CMF and a Grinch figure coming out near Christmas would sell like crazy. Street Fighter is cool for AFOLs but may be too niche for kids?

Dr Seuss or Shrek are my guesses. Street Fighter and Masters of the Universe are also possible.

Marvel Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion

Thanos Battle on Titan feels like a shoe-in for an Epic Battle set this year with his long awaited accurate IW outfit, I think every heros outfit has already been made as well. I'm actually amazed it's taken this long to get a proper IW Thanos. But I really just want Raimi Goblin and I'm good to go with Marvel Movie figures. -

Did we ever get an estimate on the (apparently) playscale Baxter Building may be coming out? -

Has there been a recent year with no modular for either? -
Out of curiosity, is the Great Hall slated for retirement anytime soon? Pretty interesting that three big Hogwarts sets will all be up at the same time- I assume they are selling well.

I remember hearing something about the Bugle a while back. I wish it was the Hall of Justice instead.

There is no Marvel Modular this year, per tandnbricks. Sadly, I think the X-Mansion may have been the last one for a long time, as it ties into the current biggest MCU projects, and the other potential sets are either too boring (Avengers Compound), too mature (anything related to Defenders) or are not relevant enough outside of comics (Oscorp, Avengers Mansion). The "Spiderman City" sets will probably be the closest thing we get for several years, as it has big comics buildings like Oscorp and the Bugle. Good for DC, but it still stings. -

The dream would be that they finally realized Superhero D2Cs that aren't modulars (especially Marvel) don't really sell that well so they are doing one Marvel one DC modular a year. -

Punisher could be a cheap figure, but it's the first LEGO version of the MCU version so I could see a unique head. I am not expecting leg prints for any figures and will be glad to have them- though Iron Man suits getting arm printing is a good sign towards better Marvel figures this year, IMO. Also, a thought- if the D2C is DC, I wonder if they will balance that with better figures for Marvel. -

I think there's a decent chance that if this year's superhero modular is Marvel, it will be the MCU Avengers Compound to coincide with Doomsday (which seems to be tied very close to the events of Avengers Endgame). Do I want that? No. -

I think BNDs standout figures will be Spidey, Punisher and Scorpion. Regardless of who the redhead is she is wearing civvie clothes so she will probably be a lazy kitbash. Doomsday standout figures will be Doom, Sentry and certain mutants. -
I don't think we've heard any rumors on the next SH modular, so the Planet could still be in the cards.

The new Armored Batman figure has a new shoulder armor piece that would work well for several bulkier suits like War Machine, Ultron etc. Hope it comes in more colors. -
I assume by the name of the wave we will be getting more game design batmobiles throughout the year.
-
Geez that Clooneybats figure is fantastic. Shame about the car.

Comics bugle should be interesting, especially as they ran out of figures to reuse with Oscorp. -

Looks like Doom's design has been revealed (but at an official Disney 2026 Merch Expo) and he basically looks like So very easily recolorable if Lego chooses to do a comics variant. -

I think Pintell, Ragetti, and Jack the Monkey are in a future icons set, possibly the Dutchman or QAR. Just to annoy completionists. Maybe the former two and the key dog in a boat? -
I don't know DC that well, are there other really iconic buildings after the Daily Planet and Hall of Justice that could serve as modulars?
