  1. Went to my local Lego Store and picked up the following: UCS Slave 1 Imperial Transport ATDP T16 Skyhopper Two poly bag ATDP's They were sold out of the TIE Prototype, so I grabbed the last one at Target. They had quite a few of Slave 1's in stock, I was a bit concerned based on the some of the stories I read.
  2. They must have taken the link down. I saw them online last night too. Had a few of the sets in my shopping cart ready to place the order, but decided to wait until morning. Guess I should have pulled the trigger, bummer. Said they would be ready for store pickup early next week.
  3. I did liquidize a majority of my collection, about 95% of it. I am in the process of rebuilding, but not to the glory of what it once was unfortunately. My UCS Falcon and two USC SSDs are but a fond memory. It's ok though.
  4. Used but complete minus boxes Battle for Hoth Luke's Landspeeder (New Edition) Endor Battle-pack Ewok Attack Droid Escape (New Edition) Desert Skiff (New Edition) Got them all for $130.00.
  5. Nashville store was very accommodating. Got a goody bag with the Turkey set, Christmas Train Ornament, and a nifty badge. Picked up two SW sets for my nephews and wanting a set for myself picked up another ISD. Overall good experiance, met a couple AFOLs, going to try and get a LUG setup for our area. Was really hoping for a scratch off ticket, but none were to be had. I guess Lego doesn't do them anymore at least in the states.
  6. Holy smokes, that is extremely impressive! Even more impressive you did the work yourself. Now I know who to call to build mine lol. Superb job man, I freaking love it!
  7. When the Ewok Village was first release, I knew I wanted to purchase another set and combine it into one big village. I wanted to make sure that I built the tree trunks tall enough for the AT-ST Walkers to walk underneath it. Pretty much used the instructions when I built the trees, just doubled them up to make them taller. The tree trunks have the same features as the originals, secret door way, the web, which I installed two, one above the other. I attached the swinging logs using Lego rope instead of the technic poles to add a bit more realism. The platform is bigger, I did have to use other tan plates from other sets to achieve the desired size. I could not reply on just the plates that came with the original sets. The tree houses are larger and taller as well. Overall I think it came out quite well and I am happy with the results. Please see the below pictures.
  8. Was this the Lego Store VIP invitational event? I attended mine this morning, but no discounts were available? Did they offer scratch off tickets perchance? I grabbed a Snowspeeder and Phantom for my nephews and picked up another ISD for myself.
  9. Looks like the locking shelves from Sams Club. I have a few that I use in my garage, great shelves.
  10. Great googly moogly, that is fraking amazing! And an interior, wow. You win, hands down!

  12. After liquidating most of my collection, which included the previous Slave 1, it is nice to see I can buy this instead of trying to find a previous model for a decent price. Looks well built, I would estimate a price of definitely over $100, but between $180 and $220. I take the tentative release date is November? Need to release it during double VIP points.
  13. Lol, yeah it was pretty bad.
  14. I have the Blue Ray, but I don't see the Boba Fett, under Epi V. Went to Cloud City, but no Boba Fett....just picture of the Slave 1.
  15. I'm a big Star Wars fan and have yet to see the Holiday Special. Partly because I can't find a copy of it.
  16. Very rarely can you find a cheaper price on EBay than Bricklink.
  17. It's a great set and I'm sure you will enjoy building it.
  18. Dang your right, I guess I added it wrong.
  19. What's up man! Usually they do it in the fall, like September/October timeframe, that is if memory serves me correctly. I bought all the OT sets when they came out, but wished I waited now since on Shop At Home sells all of them for a package deal. Would have saved like $90.00, bummer. Oh well live and learn I guess.
  20. Amazing model, I am in awe. Well done, well done indeed! An interior would have been cool to see, especially on that scale. I applaud your frame design, and may use your technique later on. Too bad you are so far away. Again, awesome job!
