I picked up a complete Death Star last week for $275.00. Built once and displayed, I thought it was a good deal.

To caveat the 10% off deal, if you are active duty military the Anahiem Disneyland Lego Store gives you a 10% discount of your purchase. I think that is really awesome and wish all Lego Stores did that. Apparently it is at the discretion of the store manager.

Sorry for the belated reply, work owns me. As an aspiring Darth Vader 501st member, there are actually 4 different Darth Vadars for each of the movies ie. time periods. I won't bore you with the details, but there are differences in his helmet, chest box, belt boxes, shin guards, gloves and etc. Now perhaps Lego has changed the chest armor, but they lack other details. For instance, with the SSD set, Darth Vaders chest box has a green and red light, when in all actuallity it should be blue and red. There are alot of othere minute details that Lego would have a hard time portraying, but they could at least make that change to fit the time period.

Speaking of technicalities, the Darth Vader for this set is the wrong one for both ESB and ROTJ time period.

Good idea, but I think the time constraints are a bit extreme.

Yea, I do not know what to say just simply blown away here. Wish you could make an appearance with it at Lego Star Wars Days here in a couple of weeks.

Constructive critisim is a way to improve your MOC, however there is certain way to approach it. You are using Lego bricks, so it will never possess a screen accurate representation. With that said your MOC, Cavegod, is awesome representation of the movies Sandcrawler. I look forward in seeing your next batch of updated pictures.

I called Lego today inquiring about the poster, they said they were down to their last few. So they are sending my poster out and should be here in about a week. The Lego rep today confirmed my entry for the drawing and said it would be held sometime this month.

Hmm I hope that doesnt happen to me. Granted I know where to get one, just will have to take my recipet into my local Lego Store. Congrats on the Death Star, I had a awesome time putting mine together.

I just orderd another X Wing, to add to my Rouge Squadron, Lukes Landspeeder, and a Darth Vader Key Chain. They still have the exclusive figure in stock here so I selected it on my order. Looking forward into getting it and the cool poster. I feel bad for the all you guys and girls overseas, I would think they would have copious amounts of the figures seeing how Lego started there.

I was thinking today when I was watching a brief part of the ceramony if anyone had done a Lego MOC on the cathedral. Looks like you did, do you have any pictures of it, looks pretty massive.
