Bought used 6211 Star Destroyer -complete 6207 A Wing -complete 7659 Imperial Landing Craft -complete 7264 Imperial Inspection - which was only missing the Hanger Base, but it is ok because I have a Hanger Base my first 7624, which I bought incomplete due to missing a couple mini figures. I got all the sets for $140.00. I think I got a really good deal and was pretty excited to find this deal on Craigslist. I also got the 7964 Republic Frigate for Christmas. Not a bad way to end the year.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors

Thrawn Trilogy would create some awesome sets and mini figures. I would like to see them do three movies based on those books too. -
Thats awesome man, good thing I own a 10030. How much for the instructions in US dollars and using paypal? I have the new SSD, I wonder how many of those parts I can use for yours? Again, thanks much for the effort to make this availible to AFOL's.

I am selling my 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer. It is the older gray color verses the newer bluish gray. I bought the set brand new back in 2004, and to the best of my knowledge all pieces are present, however some of the older gray pieces were missing and I replaced them with newer gray ones. It is only a few small pieces that needed to be replaced and it does not take away the look or appearance of the model in anyway. It is currently put together, but will be dissembled when shipped. It includes the instruction manual, which is in a good, but worn condition. It includes the Rebel Blockade Runner and the data display. I do not have the box. I am looking to get $450 obo plus shipping. I can email pictures upon request. Thank you.

New in the box Tie Interceptor for $30.00.

I have two Death Stars, one that is one display in my Lego room and the other I use for parts. I found a new in box one for $250 on Craigslist, but I decided against getting a third one. The one I have on display has its own little table that it sits on. I think it is a awesome set and a must have for collectors.

I took advantage of the 2x VIP and free shipping and ordered the SSD. After waiting two months for this deal, I am finally getting it. Can't wait to get it!

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors

The large set prices sounds about right, but the BP prices are freaking rediculous. -
That looks really good man, I like it a lot. Do you have instructions for her?
-
In the US, Lego is offering free shipping and 50 VIP points on purchases over $75.00. Not sure if that applies to overseas however.
-
As always superb work, that emulates the Star Wars Universe in great detail and design.
-
I was able to buy a used one for $450 shipped. I was lucky to find one that cheap and the seller was most kind in giving me that type of deal.

LEGO Exclusive 10221 - Super Star Destroyer
ISDAvenger replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I almost pulled the trigger on one tonight. My somewhat local Lego Store had two on the shelve. I think I will wait until double VIP points before I get this one though. -
By far a awesome MOC!!! I never would have thought to build something of that caliber. Very nice and well done.
-
Awesome funnies. I got a couple of good laughs out of them. I like the Anakin Skywalker and Yoda ones. Great work

Outstanding review man. Personally I love this set, hence why I have two of them. It is worth the price, very well built.

Hmm not a bad idea, but I have found the Bricklink tends to have a lot better deals then E Bay. E Bay I feel tends to jack the prices up, and its rare to find good sets. Usually Craigslist is the best place to look, or gargage sales.

Thanks for the pictures, I found those already and were most helpful. I am just wondering if my math for the height and width is correct for the length of scale that I am building. -
Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
ISDAvenger replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I am currently undertaking a build and I have a few questions regarding scale building. So I am currently in the progess of building a 52(ish) inch long Mini Figured Imperial Star Destroyer and I wanted to run my calculations by some of you to see what you all think. This is what I did, I took the 1600m converted it to feet, then divided it by 52 inches. What I got was 101. I used the 101 to find the other dimensions of the ISD, ie width and height. This is what I came up with using the dimensions from Wookiepedia Length 1600meter = 5250 feet (5250/101)= 52in Width 1015meter = 3331 feet (3331/101) = 33in Height 448m = 1470 feet (1470/101) = 15in Scale is 1in = 101ft or 1212in Now from what I can figure my dimensions are fairly close. My concern is in regards to the height. The 10030 UCS ISD height was 16in (without the stand) and is a lot shorter in length then my model. Did Lego spoof their scale? Is my scale wrong and my math completely screwed up? I have the frame complete and I am having issues getting the right angle and height for the top and bottom plates. Rook was helpful, but I am looking for further guidance. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Jake -
Sith Nightspeeder and Ewok Attack, buy 1 get 1 50% off at TRU deal. It will be awhile before I pull the trigger on the rest of the new sets. I am saving for the new SSD.

I have two hopper tickets for Califonia Legoland and Sealife Aquarium that I am looking to sell or trade. The tickets expire 31 Dec 2011. It is a $162.00 value, so in regards to selling them I would like to get $100.00 obo. In regards to trading, I would trade for Lego Star Wars sets that are close to the value of the tickets or obo. This would be a great opportunity to save some money and go to Legoland park. Please PM or email me at toptankc11@yahoo.com if you have any offers or questions. Thank you. Jake

Thanks to the TRU discount, picked up a Falcon and a Hoth Base for a decent price. Luckly the store I went in had them in stock, the new sets have been rather sparse out here on the west coast. Built the Hoth Base last night and just got done with the Falcon. I must say both sets are pretty cool, but could use some improvements.

LEGO Exclusive 10221 - Super Star Destroyer
ISDAvenger replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Dispite all the critiques, negetive and postive, I think it is a cool set and I am planning on purchasing it when it comes out. -
Same for So Cal too. I called the Lego store at Ontario Mills, the Lego rep told me they had two sets in but both of them were damaged. He could not tell me what they were persay, or even if they would be allowed to sell them. I imagine if they are damaged they will be sold at a discounted rate, however they have sold damaged sets at MSRP regardless of the damage to the box. Seeing how the nearest Lego Store is over 100 miles aways and the nearest TRU being 60 miles away it is cheaper just to order them online anyway.

I am not seeing Star Wars listed in the add, plus I do not believe the new sets have hit the west coast yet....blast it.
