  1. I'll be there, can't wait. The whole weekend is going to be a blast.
  2. I am a US Army Armor Crewman on the M1 series Main Battle Tanks, currently in a staff job as a Inspector General. I have been in for 15 years and have 5 left before I retire from the military life and persue a career in law enforcement.
  3. I believe the offical release date is 23 July 12. One guy found them in Target already; however me....nothing.
  4. The curves are dead on, well done. I must say that I have not seen one in that scale before.
  5. I'm with this guy lol. Umm if I would have to guess, I would say around $2,500 to $3,500. Having a UCS 10030 Star Destroyer, UCS 10179 Millennium Falcon, 2x UCS 10221 Super Star Destroyers, and 2x 10188 Death Stars makes it add up quick.
  6. That is just amazing. You definetly put a lot of work and detail into it.
  7. I received my order today, but good ole Lego shipping messed it up. None of the packing balloons were blown up, but thankfully the SSD box was unscathed..surprisingly. My TC-14 figure was ok....the poster..was not. It was packed underneath the box and got wedged between the box flap and the packing tape. I was able to remove it with little damage, but I still called Lego, who is going to send me another one right away. Lego customer service at its finest...should have asked how much for another TC-14. I called my local Lego Store and they said they were wiped out. Can anyone confirm or deny that Lego is going to offer the TC-14 as a single item on the Shop at Home website?
  8. Yea buddy, mine too. Can not wait, wish I was not working tomorrow.
  9. Superb work. I like Jabba's Palace.
  10. Ordered another SSD and picked up the promotional items as well.
  11. SSD ordered with promotional items. Wish I would have been able to use my gift card, stupid misinformation.
  12. They better not be sold out, I'll find out at midnight. If SAH is sold out, then I'll be hitting up my kinda of local Lego store as soon as it opens.
  13. Perhaps sold out, or maybe you have to purchase the UCS R2D2 to get all the promotional items, or its too early...depending on where you live.
  14. That is my plan as well, aside from the $100 gift card. I would have been able to use the gift card, but thank to some bad information I was misled about the early promotional offer. Thats what I get for jumping the gun. Oh well, when I get my refund Ill just use it for the summer sets. Glad to see it get clarified that the SSD will be 20% off though.
  15. I was just getting ready to say the same thing man. It really brings realism to the ship. I was not a fan of the look at first, but it has rather grown on me over time.
  16. That is quite the quest and I applaud your efforts and look forward to your completed ship. Makes me glad I bought mine when I did. I am curious as to how much your endeavor cost you?
  17. 1. 100 2. The chance to see Lego Star Wars in Europe with the family.
  18. Two Endor Battlepacks and Droid Escape from the Lego Store. Think I'll be hitting up Target this weekend for the TIE Fighter.
  19. Ordered the 9495 Y Wing yesterday from Lego Shop at Home, looking forward into getting the free poster and building the Y Wing. Might be hitting up the Lego store tomorrow, since the new sets should be on the shelves. I waited this year, was patient and avoided the TRU markup.
  20. Sweet review and congrats on the win. I know the feeling. They pulled my winning ticket last year at Lego Star Wars Days, ended up walking away with a AT-AT, Bounty Hunter Gunship, and Lukes Landspeeder. In addition to two return tickets to Legoland. I was pretty excited and in disbelief. Congrat again and enjoy the set. Mine is still sitting in the box.
  21. $500 for a MSIB 6211??? Where are you getting that from? There are quite a few on Bricklink for $250 that are sealed in box.I got lucky this past month and picked up a used complete 6211 for $75.
  22. I do not buy with the intent to resell, but sometimes it does happen. I sold my 10030 Star Destroyer on E Bay for a nice profit, only because I needed more money to fund a project. I would have kept it if it was in the bley color verses the older gray. I do have doubles, triples, and quadruples of certain sets, but my main intent is to use them for projects. Now with that being said, if I ever tire of any or all of my Star Wars Lego collection at least I know I can make a tidy sum off of it. I think one should buy to enjoy the set, not just to turn around and resell it once it gets discontinued. I do appreicate the people who do buy and sell in bulk and from that I am pertaining to Brinklink. Thank the maker for Bricklink.
  23. Oky, That third one is a scream, great job!!!
  24. Superb job, just superb. You did a great job in creating the scenes. Very detailed!
  25. Wait, am I missing something here? The new sets are out Toys R Us right now?
