[OL - CH5C] Don't Tread on Meeeee!!

Nice build KB, too funny. I've spotted two dudes on the scupa fish, this makes me to think is this a primitive version of the AT thingies?- 12 replies

Very nice torso, you've got some good skills in painting. The Mardier is based on Spain, because they are yellow? Good to know, I always took Eslandolans for Spanish, but in fact they aren't, right? OK, in the same era, the Russians were wearing green uniforms, so, Eslandolans = greenies = Russians.

That's a mighty ship, I like those custom guns on upper deck, the colour scheme is nice too. Good for you to capture the AQAR intact, rather than engaging a face to face duel with Margot, very clever tactics.

Nice ship, clever use of parts. I like how you've made the yardarms. -
[ESL - CH5B - for ESL] Admiral's End
Bodi replied to Legostone's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Aie, it hurts, poor admiral. Great work on the beach defense and partially built two-decker. If i'm not mistaken, it's the first time the naval artillery enters directly in action to support a landing, very well thought. -
Nice build. I like how you made the stove and the door.

Funny story, I like the cannon boat, tinny boat, big gun. What a tragic death for corporal Princeton, and what the ice planet dude is doing in the bee suit?

Good to see Captain Emile has found an easier way to earn doubloons, Elise should be pleased.

That's a very scary beast, and the two-decker is very well made.

Thank you Blackdeathgr, glad to hear that from you. Thank Capt. Genaro! I'll add more details to the ship, pin rails and capstan are good ideas. Glad you like it!

Great fort, great story. Everything is awesome. The Eslandolans have done the right thing to count on the element of surprise, but as is proved many times before, the will of a single man can change a lot of things.

Great battle scene. I like the two tone of blue to simulate the transition of inshore water, the explosion, the wave, the little crabs wandering around, and all those custom minifigs.

Thank you Capt Wolf! Glad you like it. I'm not sure about the classification, can I rate it as a 4T1? Since it's smaller than your Far Horizon and the fully armed version is only required in war time. Thank for your kind comment Kwatchi! My son just built this for the piratey, he insisted to show it to you.

The collier Le Gros has undergone a modification in the Royal Shipyard, now, we're ready to sail it to New Terra, to serve under the RNTC. En route to New Terra. From this view, one may think it's nothing else than a defenseless cargo ship, an easy prey for the piratey. A bird view seems to confirm this impression, just 4 small guns. The apparence is deceptive. Of course, we can always get ride of the cannons and make full use of its cargo hold. The captain and passengers should find decent accomodation in this cabin. - Need a little help? - Aye sir, quickly please. Thank you for viewing. Vive le Roi!

[OL Collab] Hotel Royal des Monnaies
Bodi replied to Captain Genaro's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Nice to see you guys work together to bring us such beautiful mocs. The Royal Mint is magnificent, impressive with its size and all the details, through window, I can see you even built an interior. The first scene showing wagon and soldiers in a desert remind me the movie L'avare. L'antechambre and the vault are nice too, I can't stop contemplating them, good job guys. -

Bodi replied to Sebeus I's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
That's a lot of posts, mostly on rules that I still trying to figure out, but I do understand that Oleon doesn't owe anything to Eslandola. Well then, I'm gonna keep the ships for Oleanders and license them properly as freebuild. Vive le Roi! -

Legostone has donated a vessel to RNTC? What a generous gesture from him. Bravo. My bad, I should read your posts thoroughly. Now I'm in a sort of dilemma, what am I gonna do. Wait, there may be a solution for us, what do you Eslandolans think about this: A full rigged, say almost full rigged, cargo ship, with 2 smaller guns on upper works and 4 gunports in the cargo hold for larger guns. I'm not sure about her class, a 4T or 5T? With the permission of Oleander's high command, I'm willing to donate this ship to our very respectable monsieur Legostone in compensation of his ship. This seems fair enough non? -
The Empire of Oleon: Sign-up and Discussion
Bodi replied to Sebeus I's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Well mateys, I didn't imagine ship selling can be so complicated, I tried to follow your reasoning, and I'm completely lost now. Maybe the easiest way is to let the RNTC have it. What do you guys think about it? @ Legostone, your offer and attention are highly appreciated, thanks a lot, but I prefer to sell it Oleanders, maybe it's time for you join the bright side. -

Bodi replied to Sebeus I's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks Bregir, but I can't license her for myself right now, since my sigfig LaGaufre went to sea as part of Oleander convoy, I assume he would not be back so soon. So a new captain is needed to plender more gold for Oleon. Thank you KB! Of course RNTC can have her, in this case, shall I modify her as a cargo ship or remain as privateer ship. -

I just learned there's ship sale&purchase option from the starter guide, so I want to give it a try. More money never do harm. -

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone is interested in ship purchase. A privateer ship is currently on dry dock for repair and modification, it would be a waste to leave it in the state of inactivity. Any captain of Oleon seeking for the command of a quarterdeck is invited to place offer. In addition, the royal shipyard can modify the ship according to customer's need.
